Una estancia fantástica. Lo que más queremos destacar es la amabilidad y la ayuda del anfitrión, siempre atento, cercano y dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos. Nos hizo sentir muy cómodos y bien recibidos desde el primer momento. Además, todo estaba muy limpio y la ubicación es excelente. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveríamos y que recomendamos totalmente.

Posto fantastico, a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal Nine Arch Bridge. Il proprietario e la sua famiglia sono persone davvero deliziose, sempre disponibili e attente a ogni esigenza degli ospiti. Ti fanno sentire subito come a casa. Le camere sono pulite, ordinate e confortevoli, perfette per riposarsi dopo una giornata alla scoperta della zona. La pace e il silenzio del luogo rendono il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chi desidera rilassarsi e vivere un'esperienza autentica in un ambiente accogliente

What a gorgeous place to stay. We only had one night, but I wish we could have stayed for more. The room was fabulous with a balcony overlooking Nine Arch Bridge and views of the mountains. If you get up early you can see the train go over it. The breakfast was generous and delicious and the owner was so kind. He drove us and our luggage to our driver in his tuk tuk and refused payment as our driver had a new car and the road was a little bumpy. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

The location is good but I can hardly get transport from there (although the hotel guy helped me a lot with personal tuktuk, still I feel managing transport from and to the hotel is a bit tough thing).

La posizione un po' scomoda ma con un tuk tuk si arriva presto in centro

Recomendamos 100% este alojamiento. Éramos un grupo de 7, el dueño nos acogió estupendamente, nos ofrecía te y café siempre. Tiene unas vistas maravillosas y una cama colgante con vistas al puente. Para llegar al alojamiento hay un camino de unos 200 metros. El dueño te recoge en tuk tuk, pero sino, está cerca caminando. Sale una ruta al puente que se hace en 10 minutos. Las habitaciones amplias, camas extra grandes, agua caliente en los baños. Todo estaba limpio Desayuno contundente.

Εκπληκτική θέα, φανταστικό πρωινό, πολυ καθαρό δωμάτιο, ο ιδιοκτήτης ένας ευγενέστατος άνθρωπος που ηταν προθυμος να μας βοηθήσει με όλα. Την ημερα του check out επειδη ειχαμε πολυ πρωινη αναχωρηση μας μετεφερε στις 3.30 το πρωι στον κεντρικο δρομο που ειχαμε δωσει ραντεβου με το ταξί μας χωρις καμια επιπλεον χρεωση. Το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα!

Die Lage zur Nine Arches Bridge ist perfekt, man erreicht sie in knapp 10 Minuten Fußmarsch. Der Gastgeber und seine Familie sind mehr als freundlich, helfen jederzeit und holen einen mit dem TukTuk von der Hauptstraße ab oder fahren einen nach Ella. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer großzügig und der Blick auf die Brücke einmalig. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig mit frischem Obst, lokalen Gerichten, Toast und Marmelade. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

The location of the accommodation is excellent, with a beautiful view of the Nine Arch Bridge, which is only about a 10-minute walk away. The family who runs the property is incredibly warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was also delicious! Another big plus was that the owner could take us wherever we wanted with his tuk-tuk, always at very reasonable prices, which made getting around Ella very easy and convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would higly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella!

La gentillesse, amabilité et serviabilité du propriétaire est exceptionnelle. J’ai vraiment été touchée par ce couple. La vue est fabuleuse sur le Nine Arch bridge. Très calme, sans bruit.

We hadden heel last minute geboekt, omdat onze vorige accomodatie werd geannuleerd. En wat hebben wij een geluk gehad. We hadden de familiekamer met z’n tweeën dus ieder een eigen twee persoonsbed. Enorme luxe! En dat uitzicht!! We hebben de trein maar liefst 2 keer kunnen spotten. Vanuit het hotel is het een kleine 10 minuten wandelen om op het spoor te komen. De gastheer is super vriendelijk en wilt je met alles helpen! Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf!

Het kan soms lastig zijn dat niet alle auto’s bij het hotel stoppen. Maar met een Tuktuk is dit prima te doen! (Wij hebben dit niet als last ervaren)

Primer de tot, l’amfitrió i la seva família. Persones 10 que t’ajuden i estan per tu en tot moment. Molt atentes i servicials. Increïbles. Les vistes al pont de les millors. Una panoramica privada des de l’habitació. L’esmorzar molt complet. Habitació amplia i neta.

The location is perfect to enjoy the train view from our view. What made it special was the owner and his family. We were treated like family in our short stay with them. The breakfast was plenty and the room was clean. Will definitely come here again of we are in Ella.

The location is not on the main road and need tuk tuk to go in. The owner kindly helped us on this and we really appreciate it.

Fantastisk udsigt. Meget hjælpsom vært, som kørte os rundt i sin tuk-tuk. Han var utrolig venlig og kørte os til byen og hentede os, når vi sendte besked.

Cet hôtel a 2 très gros points positifs : - sa vue, incroyable sur le pont aux 9 arches mais aussi sur les montagnes et la jungle environnantes. La terrasse pour les admirer est parfaite, avec même des petits filets pour s'allonger - ses gérants. D'une gentillesse et hospitalité exceptionnelles, ils sont très prévenants et portent attention aux détails. - La chambre était aussi très propre, la SDB comme souvent à Sri Lanka était "inondable" - en retrait d'Ella, qui reste accessible à travers la jungle et le pont en 20 minutes à pied environ. Accès au little Adams peak à pied également

Breakfast was excellent—simple, fresh, and satisfying. What stood out most was the hospitality. The owner and his family made us feel genuinely at home. The location is also very convenient—just a safe 5-minute walk to the railway near the 9 Arch Bridge, making it easy to visit anytime. The owner also has his own tuk-tuk, so getting around was effortless without the usual hassle of negotiating prices. We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying longer next time.

We had a wonderful stay at 9 Arch View Rest Inn in Ella. The hotel is located just outside the main town, and the final part of the journey is down very small local roads that larger vehicles will struggle to access. When we arrived, the owner quickly came to meet us with his tuk tuk and brought both us and our luggage the final stretch to the hotel, which was a great introduction to the level of hospitality we would experience during our stay. As soon as we stepped onto the main balcony area we were greeted with an incredible view directly over the famous Nine Arch Bridge. Watching the trains pass through the jungle-covered valley from the hotel was a highlight of our time in Ella. The rooms are quite basic, with no TV, air conditioning or fridge, but they were very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful setting and the views more than make up for the simple setup. One of the standout parts of our stay was the owner, who was genuinely one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. He was always happy to help and offered to drive us wherever we needed to go in his tuk tuk. Whether it was taking us into town for dinner, picking us up afterwards, or driving us to nearby attractions, nothing was ever too much trouble. It made getting around Ella incredibly easy. Breakfast in the morning was also excellent, especially with the view over the bridge and the surrounding hills. It was a perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore places like Little Adam’s Peak, the tea factories and the town itself. Overall we absolutely loved our stay here. The views are incredible, the rooms are comfortable, and the hospitality from the owner is truly outstanding. If you’re visiting Ella and want a peaceful place with one of the best views of the Nine Arch Bridge, this is a fantastic place to stay.

Номер очень чистый, с 3 кроватями (2 двуспальные, 1 односпальная), санузел в номере с горячей водой. Веранда с шикарным видом на мост. Вкусный завтрак. Очень общительный и приятный хозяин, который был готов помочь со всем. Сложный подъезд к вилле, так как находится на горе (тук-тук доезжает без проблем), но благодаря этому неповторимый вид на мост из виллы.

Не хватило холодильника в номере.

Absolutely amazing. The place, the view...you can't imagine untill you see it. The host ist the most kind person in hole Sri Lanka. He can also arrange all kind of tuktuk drives and trips, and he also arranged a taxi for us to Colombo - all for very friendly prices... Super peaceful location, only 5km from Ella(10min by tuktuk). You can walk to the 9 arch bridge (10-15min). Little Adam's peak is like 2-3km (30-40min walk) Breakfast was also super good and tasty, at the time you prefer.

The staff behaviour was too good and helpful. Also the main attraction was the breathtaking view of the 9 Arch bridge. Also they served a very delicious breakfast. Highly recommended. Worthy as well.

The only problem was having only one washroom in a big size room, where 5 people can stay. But except that everything was good.

Senavi is an amazing host, he made us feel so welcomed, and gave good recommendations, the place is not in downtown, (so if you want to go out at night you need a tuk tuk, Senavi has you covered for this) but the view is definitely worth it, you can see the 9 arch bridge and train passing by literally just stepping out of your room

Das 9 Arch view rest Inn ist einfach wunderbar. Super nette Gastgeberfamilie ( die Frau hat extra für uns gekocht), die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sauber und besitzen einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die 9 Arche Bridge, welche zu Fuß in ca. 20 Minuten erreichbar ist. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls großartig.

L'accueil par la famille locale est d'une gentillesse rare, ce qui rend le séjour très personnel. Les infos pratiques à retenir : • Accès au pont : Un chemin vous permet d'atteindre le Nine Arch Bridge en 10 min de marche environ, idéal pour les photos matinales ! • Transports : Le centre-ville est à 10 min. Un trajet en tuk-tuk coûte entre 600 et 700 LKR, ce qui est très raisonnable pour la tranquillité obtenue. • Services : Petit-déjeuner délicieux et copieux. Mention spéciale pour la douche avec eau chaude, très appréciable après une rando. • ✅ Le point fort : Pouvoir aller au pont à pied sans dépendre des transports.

This place was amazing. The view of the 9 arches bridge was fantastic and that we could walk a little way down the road to get to the tracks was a great tip as well. Senavi was an amazing host, allowing us to do some laundry and always checking that everything is ok. He told us about tuk tuk drivers around the area and what to look out for. Saying that he also gave us recommendations of where to go and what to do and offered to take us there in his own tuk tuk. We asked for him to arrange a taxi for us to demodara station and he said he would take us instead for a good price as well. The room was great, the bed was comfy and and food was tasty.

Wifi could be a bit patchy but to be expected.

A wonderful family-run hotel with wonderful hosts. We were met and given directions to the driver over the phone. The rooms are very nice, with stunning views of the mountains and the Nine Arches Bridge. The bathroom has warm water. There's a lovely shared terrace with hammocks and tables. The hosts are very kind and helpful, allowing us to use the kitchen and dishes, and arranging a tuk-tuk ride at a low price. I highly recommend it.

Das Frühstück war extrem lecker und typisch für Sri Lanka, d.h inklusive Linsen Dal, Hoppers und frischen Früchten. Die Aussicht auf die Nine Arch Bridge ist beeindruckend. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt hier definitiv.

Perfekte Lage oberhalb der Nine Arch Bridge. Über einen gut zugänglichen Wg und 126 Stufen ist man in 15 Min dort. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und eine Mischung aus landestypischen Gerichten und AB. Unterkunft ist einfach aber alles da was es braucht. Auch warmes Wasser😉. Der Besitzer ist umwerfend nett. Hat mich mit dem TukTuk an der Straße abgeholt und wieder hingebracht. Die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar! Beim nächsten Mal plane ich min 2-3 Tage dort ein

The location is incredibly beautiful; you can watch the Nine Arch Bridge and the trains from your terrace. It's only a 5-minute walk down. The host was a very friendly person. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Access is very difficult, almost impossible for inexperienced drivers. There was stress with the tuktuks because they blocked the way. But neither the facility nor the owner can be blamed for that. It's definitely worth staying here.

Otel sahibi çok ilgili ve yardımsever, otel fotoğraflardaki gibi , manzara çok güzel , köprüye 5 dakika yürüyerek varıyorsunuz merkeze 10-15 dakika tuktukla sizi götürebilir, biz motor kiraladık ve motor kiralamada yardımcı oldu. Kahvaltısı güzel, ella - udalawale içinde taksi ayarladı hemse merkezdeki taksilerden daha uygun fiyatlı. Herşey için teşekkürler.

Fijne locatie in de achtertuin van de 9-arch bridge. De kamer was redelijk ruim met een fijne douche. We hadden geen airco op de kamer maar deze hebben we ook niet nodig gehad. Er waren wel ventilatoren aanwezig. Vanaf balkon kun je de 9-arch bridge zo zien. Verder kun je via de achtertuin omlaag naar de bridge. Klim is niet voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Locatie is top voor de brug te zien, als je vaker Ella wil bezoeken zou ik een andere locatie aanraden.

Laatste stukje weg is alleen via tuktuk of te voet te bereiken. Maar eigenaar komt je ophalen met zijn tuktuk. Voor ons was het geen probleem.

Pulizia veramente al limite, abbiamo avuto problemi con un letto pieno di capelli, alla richiesta di uno sconto non c’é stata risposta, abbiamo usufruito della lavanderia e mi é stata riportata una tshirt completamente sporca!!

Wat een lieve gastheer! Je voelt je er direct thuis op het grote terras met een mooi zicht op de 9 arch bridge. De kamers zijn voorzien van goede bedden, klamboe en een ventilator en ‘s morgens krijg je een lekker ontbijt geserveerd met zicht op de brug. De eigenaar waarschuwt je ook voor te dure tuktuk’s (pickme werkt niet goed in Ella) en desnoods brengt hij je met zijn eigen TukTuk naar het centrum voor een kleine vergoeding. Prima uitvalsbasis ook om een mooie wandeling naar Little Adam’s Peak en 9 arch te maken. Aanrader!

El hombre super amable, es muy antento y te ayuda en todo. La verdad que las vistas son muy guays y tienes un caminito para bajar al tren Es un poco complicado para llegar pero esta bien Hicimos dos noches y la zona lo recomendamos, estas a 10 min con el tuktuk Y el desayuno de 10!

What to say? Perfect?!? Senali and his wife are just the best hosts. The breakfast is delicious. The views are THE BEST you can possibly find in Ella. The kindness of Senali thou is a winner. We are two girls travelling and we artived when it was already dark, he managed to vome to pick us up from the main road so we wouldn't have to walk in the dark. The little alley is a local small street we couldn't reach with our car but absolutely safe for walk at anytime, still he came to meet us and made us feel safe and welcomed. The same in the morning. Always wanting to carry our luggage so we wouldn't have to. This is the kind of experience you want to have when travelling in a country as SL: supporting the local community which is so caring and welcoming. I loved it Senali! Thank you so much!

La vue sur le pont des 9 arches depuis la terrasse est magnifique. On y accède en 5 min à travers la végétation et en 30 min au centre ville. La chambre familiale est assez vaste et la salle de bain bien. Le gérant est adorable et pratique des prix très raisonnables pour nous emmener où on veut avec son tuk tuk. Le petit déjeuner est très bon.

This homestay is an absolute hidden gem! The family are so welcoming - they cannot do enough for you. The view is INCREDIBLE! The sunset is beautiful and you can see the 9 Arch Bridge so clearly. It’s a tuk tuk ride down to the homestay by the owner which made us all giggle and I think this is the best value place I have stayed. It’s a simplistic place to stay yet has everything you need. We were greeted with free tea and coffee and even late night toast and jam. I’d recommend this place to anyone and would give 11/10 if I could! We saw 4 trains go over the bridge and it was an absolute pleasure to stay here!

View from the hotel is unbelievable. We have enjoyed seeing many trains passing the 9 Arch bridge. Customer service was excellent 👌

The owner and his family are great people. They prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners, arranged for laundry, drived us in tuk tuks for us to be able to see (and walk and swim in) the most of beautiful Ella - the owner drove us to trailheads of Ella Rock, Ravana Waterfalls and Secret Waterfall. The place is conveniently located just 5 mins walk from 9 Arches Bridge (which you can see from your terrace) and it is also great starting point of trail to Little Adam´s Peak. It is very peaceful and we slept like babies. Nearby Ella is more noisy and can get crazy at nights. Ella center is few minutes on tuktuk from accommodation, which is very convenient. All in all, we had a great time in Ella thanks to choosing this place - fully recommended!

Propriétaire très sympa qui fait tout pour que nous passions un bon séjour. Petit déjeuner bon et très copieux. Vue sur le fameux pont, très jolie, mais forcément, nous entendons les trains (il y en a peu, mais un vers 6h30). Terrasse commune sympa devant les chambres pour prendre les petits déjeuners, si les autres guest sont respectueux, ça ne pose pas de problème et la vue est magnifique. Le propriétaire nous a aidés a trouver des tuk tuk a prix raisonnables (ou il nous accompagnait lui même).

La vue est exceptionnelle, le patron très prévenant et adorable. Il nous amène en tuk tuk, nous attend, nous a trouver un taxi pour notre prochaine destination et a négocié le prix. Super pancakes fourrés au petit déjeuner.

Un peu excentré avec une route d’accès étroite et chaotique mais en tuk tuk, aucun problème d’accès. 800 roupies pour aller en ville.

The host and his family is so friendly and makes you feel like you are home. Also perfect view of the 9 arch bridge. The room was clean. To access Ella just walk down the train track very beautifull walk of 50 min. The host also helps us with tuk tuk service.

This is a one of places where you can experience Sri Lankans hospitality. Owner really cared about our needs. In the end of our stay, he also drove us to train station. One of top reasons to choose this place is a great view - for a much lower price than popular surrounding accomodation you get the same, great view on the 9 arches bridge. Our room was good - not like 5 star hotel, but pleasant. There is a slight difficulty regarding location, it is a 10 minutes uphill drive and catching Uber or Pickme in Ella is problematic, for us catching tuktuk on the main street and asking to take us there worked the best (around 700-1000 LKR). If you want to go from hotel to Ella centre - ask owner, he will help you.

Ägarna av hotellet är fantastiska, hjälpte mig med precis allt och det kändes som jag var en del av familjen. Bara 10 minuter till centrum med tuktuk och ägarna kunde alltid köra ner en efter önskemål. Läget var perfekt med utsikt över bron och tyst atmosfär under frukosten. Rummen var enkla men fräscha! Rekommenderar detta familjehotell stort!!

That's a very calm location with perfect view to the brige! I was afraid about reaching this Homestay due to reviews, but it was absolutely ok with my bike. The room is simple but clean, there is a mosquito net to protect you if you prefer to sleep with open windows. The main city is not so close, but this view is definitely worth it! The host is very kind and cute. The breakfast is big and tasty, it includes local dishes and classical eggs with jam-toast.

Just be ready that your wet close won't be dry in Ella.

Great location with the view on the nine arches. There is a new big terrasse to enjoy even more this amazing view! The staff is helpful and kind. 10mn from the city center in Tuktuk Nice breakfast

Hôtel avev superbe vue sur le 9 arch. Chambres, sdb propres. Proprio vraiment très aimable.

Hotel non accessible en voiture ( chemin cabossé ), le propriétaire vient nous chercher en haut, à la jonction avec la route en tuk tuk, gratuitement.
