I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Viet Hotel. From the very first moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who always went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped — a perfect place to relax after a long day exploring. The laundry service was fast and efficient, and the spa was amazing – peaceful atmosphere, professional therapists, and a truly relaxing experience. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of both Asian and Western dishes; I especially loved the Vietnamese pho and the strong coffee! What impressed me the most was the tour arrangement service right at the hotel. Thanks to Mr. Linn, who was incredibly kind and helpful, I was able to book several wonderful trips at very reasonable prices – to Ha Long Bay, Sapa, Ninh Binh, and Ha Giang. Every tour was well organized, with punctual transfers, comfortable transportation, professional guides, and excellent service throughout. 🛥️ Ha Long Bay was breathtaking – the overnight cruise, sunset on the deck, and fresh seafood were unforgettable. 🏞️ Sapa offered stunning terraced rice fields, cool weather, and warm-hearted local people. 🚣 Ninh Binh felt like a dream – peaceful rivers, limestone mountains, and a calm countryside vibe. 🏍️ Ha Giang was absolutely majestic with its winding mountain roads and untouched beauty. Each journey was a special memory, and I’m deeply grateful to Mr. Linn for his care and perfect arrangements. He made my trip across northern Vietnam smooth, joyful, and full of unforgettable moments. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Hanoi with friendly staff, tasty breakfast, relaxing spa, convenient laundry, and especially amazing tours at the best prices, I wholeheartedly recommend Viet Hotel. The manager and the staff were very friendly and always helpful. The location was lively. Breakfasts were excellent, with omelets made to order, etc.

While the location was lively, it was inconvenient for vehicles to enter and exit. A safe deposit box was provided, but it was portable (!) rather than fastened anywhere, making it useless as a way to secure valuables.

L'hôtel est très bien situé en centre ville (mais cela implique donc plus de bruit bien sûr, parfois tard la nuit). La chambre est confortable et j'ai eu la chance d'en avoir une lumineuse. Le personnel est très gentil

La fontaine à eau n'était pas propre et l'eau froide sortait parfois tiède ce qui peut être inquiétant pour tout ce qui est relatif aux intoxications, bactéries etc. Je l'ai fait remarqué, le réceptacle rempli d'eau et de poussière / moisissure a donc été vidé dans la journée mais le reste de la fontaine n'a malheureusement pas été nettoyé

The location of the hotel is very accessible to everything, the breakfast was great, and the staff are very accommodating and helpful to our queries specially Mr. Linh the manager and Ms.Audrey receptionist she even packed a breakfast for us to eat while heading to noi bai international airport since our flight is at early hour. Best hotel we had (Viet Hotel and Travel) 100/100

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, besonders der Hotelmanager Mr. Linh hat sich sehr engagiert für uns die perfekten Ausflüge zu finden. Auf den Fotos schauen die Zimmer etwas jünger aus, als sie sind, aber das ist ja öfter der Fall.

We had a wonderful stay at Viet Hotel! The staff service was absolutely amazing — 5 stars! Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The location is very convenient — easy to get around and close to many attractions. We also booked our Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh 1-day trips through the hotel, and everything was perfectly arranged — from transportation to the tour guides and itinerary. We were extremely satisfied! The hotel itself is a little old in condition, but overall, it’s still a great place to stay and definitely worth recommending.

It was in the middle of everything. Very convenient, especially if you’re going to go on tours. Pick up from this location or very close by, was free.

Not an issue, but it is on the older side, compare to other hotels we stayed in Vietnam. It has old key system, but to me, was very nostalgic.

Mr Linn and his team were so hospitable and helpful. They welcomed me like family and were always attentive to my needs. Whenever I had a question, they had the answer and pointed me in the direction of where to find the best local food and attractions. The rooms were well air-conditioned and comfy, the breakfast was complete and the service was wonderful. I stayed for 5 nights and would happily stay longer.

1st point- Be careful when booking tours through this hotel. Myself and my partner booked a 1 night 2 day halong bay 5 star cruise and didn't get what we were told we would have and paid for. The room wasn't the VIP room that we were shown and we were told we would have a limousine bus and instead got some old crap bus instead. Person who booked us did nothing to rectify the situation and gave only excuses so service here was very poor! 2nd point- hotel looks much nicer on the photos but is actually old and tired looking so not what we were expecting and for the price you can find better options.

Our third time here and we have been very happy with each stay. A clean, friendly and comfortable stay. All the staff were exceptional in making our time here so enjoyable. The support we have had both inside and outside the hotel are the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. Gushing praise I know but totally justified we believe.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is amazing and friendly. Nothing is too much for them and you'll be treated like royalty. The rooms are adequate and clean. Our stay at Viet Hotel was amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Linn, the hotel manager, gave us advice on activities around Hanoi and booked transport from the airport and to our next destination. The staff carried our bags for us, held the door open and always greeted us with a smile. The location is perfect, right in the Old Quarter with everything you could wish for at walking distance, while inside the hotel it's still peaceful and relatively quiet.

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Old Quarter in Hanoi und somit eine perfekte Lage. Trotzdem ist es sehr leise und wir haben keinen Lärm der Straßen gehört. Das Personal und besonders Linn waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Frühstück ist auch für jeden was dabei. Eierspeisen werden frisch auf Wunsch zubereitet.

Die Zimmer sind in einem sehr alten Zustand und die Böden teilweise kaputt. Wir hatten ein bisschen Wasser im Badezimmer weil es ein Leck hinter der Toilette gab.

Hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel is in a central location and closer to everything around. Just a 5 mins walk to the lake. The staff also arranged all the tours and itineraries for me which was super helpful and top quality

La disponibilidad y amabilidad de todo el personal ha sido de 10. El desayuno es muy completo y la habotación cuenta con todo lo necesario para unos días en Hanoi. Nos mantuvieron informadas acerca de las recomendaciones de las autoridades por la llegada de un tifón y nos tranquilizarón bastante. Fue un placer hospedarnos con ellos.

Das Hotel ist mitten im Trubel der Altstadt gelegen, dafür ist es drinnen erstaunlich ruhig. Man ist fußläufig sehr schnell bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Shops. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht und kümmert sich um alle Anliegen. Auch das Buchen von Touren klappte gut. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nach meiner Erfahrung für Vietnam umfangreich und lecker und es ist möglich, darüber hinaus noch einige Speisen von der Karte zu bestellen. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung und wenn ich wieder nach Hanoi komme, würde ich jederzeit dieses Hotel wieder buchen!

I had trouble checking in for my flight from hanoi, which gave me stress . linh contacted the airline and got my boarding pass for me . First is the location. It's in the heart of everything in the old quarter. Second is the hospitality of the people. They are very accomodating with our requests, especially Mr. Linh who have been very helpful and kind. Especially that I was sick during our stay.
