Spacious 4 Bed Villa with BBQ, Pool & Parking Grand Baie

Air Con was welcomed, the bathrooms had soaps and towels. Location was ok not where we originally thought it was. Happy to stay because we had a car. We wanted a pool and private outdoor space in a quiet area.

Builders next door, pool was unusable until the day we had to leave at 11 am. Cockroaches inside everywhere, everyday I had to clean. The sink had a leak so daily moping. The oven handle was too hot to touch and door was faulty. The upstairs toilet leaked water onto the floor. The long walk from upstairs large bedroom to the bathroom. No en-suite?? My husband cut his foot on the shower step killing a cockroach. Disappointed.

Some minor inconveniences but manageable : • Missing basic/less kitchen utensils and accessories such as strainer, grater • Minor leaks under sink • Soil deposits in swimming pool due to wind and rain, but pool guy did not come to clean. Maybe provide some equipment other than the net to clean it before using or cover the pool when not in use.

Casa molto spaziosa, ben organizzata, pulita e particolarmente ben fornita con ogni tipo di accessorio necessario in cucina. Il proprietario è stato comunicativo, disponibile a estremamente gentile; abbiamo avuto un problema con i termini del check out e ci ha consentito un late check out senza ulteriori addebiti, salvandoci la giornata. Non abbiamo avuto alcun problema di quelli segnalati nelle recensioni di altri osptiti che ci hanno preceduto e non si capisce come mai siano stati tanto critici con la struttura che a noi è sembrata perfetta e con un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente. Ovvio che trattandosi di una villa in area di campagna vi è presenza di insetti o piccoli gechi, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato una scheda di avvenuta disinfezione, quindi è evidente che il proprietario abbia fatto il possibile per garantire un soggiorno ottimale.

Séjour en novembre 2025 Nous sommes très déçus par notre expérience dans cette villa. Voici ce que nous avons réellement constaté lors de notre arrivée : • Nous avons mis 1h30 pour trouver le logement, faute d’indications claires, et aucune réponse de l’hôte pendant plus de 5 heures malgré nos messages car le numéro dans le guide d’arrivée qui est transmis est celui d’un ancien employé • la localisation n’est pas celle indiqué, le logement est situé dans un quartier éloigné, peu habité et proche de the vale • la climatisation de la chambre à l’étage s’arrête après 5 minutes d’utilisation en indiquant un code erreur • Le ménage n’était pas fait : nous avons dû attendre 1h supplémentaire sur place pendant que l’équipe finissait. Pourtant il restait encore les cafards mort sur les terrasses qui n’avaient pas été retirés. • Une fois le logement prêt, l’état général était inacceptable : • Piscine sale (eau trouble, dépôt au fond). • Cuisine insalubre, avec des ustensiles clairement moisis et des surfaces sales. Voir les photos. • Meubles abîmés. • Pas un seul rouleau de papier toilette, pour un logement prévu pour 8 personnes. • un seul transat au bord de la piscine pour une logement de 8 personnes • de l’eau tiède uniquement le soir, très peu de pression dans les douches Nous avons tout signalé immédiatement, photos à l’appui. Malheureusement, la réponse de l’établissement a été de minimiser les problèmes, alors que les preuves étaient évidentes. Ils nous ont mis en contact avec une personne pour qu’il règle les problèmes malheureusement la personne ne peut pas résoudre l’ensemble de ces problèmes durant notre séjour. Pour le prix et la description proposée sur Booking, nous nous attendions à un logement propre, prêt à l’heure, et à un minimum de réactivité de l’hôte. Ce n’a pas été le cas.

Nice property and lots of room. One upstairs bedroom needs black out curtains in windows. Early morning light can be too much for some

1) Cleanliness - just outside the gate couldn’t miss a huge pothole full of water and making the drive muddy which easily gets carried in the house. Very poorly maintained access road. We had to upgrade our rented vehicle as a 4x4. 2) Facilities - fridge became faulty after our second day and despite informing them. It never got resolved. We had to throw almost everything that we bought as food fridge item. We were not provided with clean linen for 15 days. Dirty towels were left in the laundry basket - probably from previous staycation. 3) Location - misleading, incorrect and deceiving advertising making us believe that property is in Reservoir Road ( checked location before booking on Google maps). It’s actually situated in the side street of Sottise Road, towards Vale. Not a walking distance from beaches. We only found this out few days before our arrival. 4) We felt that it wasn’t value for money and had to make amends ourselves to improve our stay. Standards were below average.

Nous nous sommes perdu en arrivant car nous n’avons pas eu l’adresse complète nous avons tourner en rond pendant 2 heures avant d’avoir la bonne adresse, une piscine chauffée aurait été mieux et il manque des tapis devant les douches et des torchons dans la cuisine

The property was a good size, close to everything, but far enough out to provide peace. The family really enjoyed the swimming pool.

The property had not yet been cleaned when we arrived, so we were met with the previous tenant's mess and dirty beds.The kitchen lacks a baking tray and hot pads, so you can't comfortably use the oven. Only skillets, no sauce pans. No kitchen towels to dry dishes, your hands, or the countertop after washing dishes. There was also no broom or dustpan to clean up after yourself.

The location is great — three beautiful beaches and a supermarket all within 15 minutes drive made day-to-day life convenient. The villa had a nice pool, which was regularly cleaned, and the gardener came twice a week too.

We experienced two electrical faults in the house during one week. The first one took most of the power out downstairs when we tried to switch on a light. The second one happened during a huge thunderstorm, which took out all the power upstairs. Both required an electrician to fix. To their credit, the host/agency were very responsive, and the repair team was helpful and friendly, but it did impact our experience and added stress and worry to our stay. The villa itself is big and spacious but could use some improvement, e.g., not all the plug sockets in the kitchen worked, nor all the light switches in the main bedroom. There was no information provided about rubbish collection or what to do with bin bags (none were provided, btw), which was frustrating. There was a cleaning visit halfway through our stay, which was appreciated, but basic things like toilet paper weren’t replenished, so we ended up buying some. These issues in and of themselves weren't enormous, but added up and were representative of the villa experience in general. Overall, the stay had potential to be great, and I want to stress accessibility of the hosts/agency to queries and problems, but over the two weeks a few too many issues added up to not be able to give a better rating.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! It was impeccably maintained, secure, nice setup, beautiful deco and spotlessly clean. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, making our stay even more comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent, with quick responses and efficient support from the maintenance team whenever needed. Although our stay was short just three nights with family. We truly enjoyed every moment.

There was nothing to dislike, everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

We spent 6 unforgettable days at this villa, which was perfect for our family of four. The villa was spacious and well-designed, featuring 4 comfortable rooms, 2 balconies, and 2 bathrooms. The private pool was a fantastic addition, allowing us to relax and enjoy family time in privacy. The villa was conveniently located near beautiful beaches and the lively town of Grand Baie. It was fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with a kitchen stocked with essentials like a fridge, microwave, plates, and saucepans, making it easy to cook meals. Laundry facilities were also available, which added to the convenience. For cozy, rainy days, the villa even had a TV with Netflix, a nice touch that kept everyone entertained. We truly felt at home here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a functional, family-friendly villa in Mauritius.
