Tonight Homestay Jing'an Temple Shanghai

The entire experience is relaxed and comfortable, with delicate details and an elegant ambiance that make it particularly worthwhile.

It was a great location, next to the metro station or a short drive to the major sights. Was a peaceful neighbourhood and the apartment was big, clean and homely. I had no issues during my stay, and the staff were very fast at responding.

The unit was big and the beds were more like king size beds each. The property owner/contact was extremely friendly and responsive, and was okay with us paying in cash to avoid foreign credit card fee (or wechat, but for some reason we couldn't). The AC (without the humidifier turned on) worked okay. Having laundry was also great.

The lack of cleanliness. The surfaces was fine, but the floor was not clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor (and in the bed), and under the furniture was quite unclean. We were playing floor is lava the whole time we were there. We also avoided cooking since the cleanliness was questionable.

This was our first time visiting Shanghai and we stayed here for one nights. Overall, the experience was better than we expected. The apartment isn’t very large, but it was more than enough for two people. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we slept very well after spending long days exploring the city. We were initially a little unsure about the self check-in because there is no front desk and we had to follow the instructions ourselves. However, the host sent us detailed information through WhatsApp before arrival, and we found the apartment quite quickly once we followed the instructions. We had one small question and contacted the host through WhatsApp, and they responded fairly quickly.

The building itself is a typical older residential building in Shanghai, so the common areas are quite basic and definitely not like a modern hotel. The apartment itself was much more comfortable than the outside of the building suggested.

Very clean, well-equipped, close to the subway station, very convenient, very perfect

The room is big and full of facilities

NA

Las instalaciones muy buenas.

La zona dobdexestaba ubicada.

Great apartment, great location.

An Absolute Gem! I recently stayed at this wonderful property and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From start to finish, everything was simply flawless. The Apartment: Beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with top-notch amenities. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The Service & Hospitality: The level of service was exceptional. The host was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always available to help with any request or to provide great local recommendations. Every single aspect of my stay deserves a solid 5 out of 5 stars. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-tier accommodation experience!

Excellent location. Lots of lovely local amenities nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious.

No.

I booked it for my mom to go out and play with friends, and they said they were very satisfied, the rooms were spacious,

All employees are warm and friendly, and their service attitude is very good. It is indeed a trustworthy and high-quality hotel.

Great property on Anfu Road, a quiet tree lined street in the heart of colonial Shanghai. As a family of 4 with 2 teenagers we normally trust AirBNB when on holiday as we feel an apartment gives better value for money and the extra space needed. Unfortunately no AirBNB in China (their loss). This place was just perfect. A short walk from the Metro and close to a number of excellent restaurants and coffee shops.

After booking I was contacted by the Tonight Homestay team via What's App. Payment was in advance either through Alipay or We Chat. I was happy with this as was clearly stated on the Booking.com confirmation but my bank and credit card provider had other ideas. Took a full day on the telephone to the fraud team to convince them that I wanted the payment to go ahead. Finally managed to transfer the money whilst waiting at the boarding gate at Heathrow. Not the fault of the property but of the British banking system.

When I arrived at this guesthouse, I felt very good. This stay allowed me to experience the most comfortable service. I had a lot of luggage this time, and the customer service would help me contact the housekeeper to help me move my luggage. When I arrived at the room, I was greeted by a clean, tidy, and comfortable little home. The floor was very clean, with no dust or hair.

Very good, the whole family likes it very much, very satisfied with the location, is a must-stay homestay during travel. Luggage can be stored free of charge.

The free luggage storage service made it convenient for us to explore the city.

The details are thoughtful and perfect.

The location is very good, very close to the subway station,

This is a hotel with an excellent location and friendly staff.

The hygiene management is meticulous, the bathroom supplies are complete, and it is very hygienic.

The service was warm and hospitable, and I was very happy to stay in such a nice room.

I like this room very much, and I am satisfied everywhere.

The travel accommodation was perfect, and if I have the chance to come again, I will.

I live with my mom, and the overall atmosphere is great!

Great flat in a great location. Support service was amazing. Will come back!

Amazing service and matress. Special thanks to Una and Coco

Nothing

The location is convenient for travel, and the check-in process is efficient.

Too excellent, too great, this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in in the world, it's perfect.

The location is also very convenient.

This service is really excellent, the location is great, and it's really fantastic.

Exceeding expectations, the perfect stay, quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle, super convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to meet your needs.

Location is near to shopping street in Jing An, toilet was clean and bed was comfortable

Not the cleanest, there were leftover instant noodles in the hot water kettle when we checked in, window ledge and curtains are dusty and worn

Whether it is the level of environmental hygiene and quietness, the level of intelligent design of the house, or the service attitude of the staff, it is very good.

A hotel with good value for money, simple and fashionable modern style,

The room is spacious and tidy, and the bathroom and washing area are also very clean. The overall value for money is very high.

Facilities: relatively new, intelligent Hygiene: Clean and tidy Environment: quiet,

Close to the subway, and the neighborhood is really quiet - we slept great! The landlord also responded to my inquiries promptly - the two rooms are separated on either side so there's no interference.

It would be better if you prepared umbrellas for us

The environment is warm, and the room is quite clean, exceeding expectations.

Very good, the room is warm and cozy, clean and hygienic, and the environment is very tidy.

The management was very friendly and helpful.

We were very disappointed upon arrival. The condition of the apartment was very different than the website images. The two bathrooms were in poor condition and the beds are super hard to sleep in. Unfortunately, we didn’t even spend one night in the premises and moved to a hotel instead.

Easy to access and nice location.

The size of the room is just right, and it is very comfortable for one person to live in it. The layout is warm and the atmosphere is full.

I chose this hotel because of the convenience of transportation when traveling alone, and the experience is still very good.

I have been traveling for a long time, and this hotel gave me a good living experience. The geographical location is excellent, and the transportation is convenient. The service process is standardized, the staff is friendly, and the work is efficient.

Amazing location and customer service was great

Just needed a mirror

Coming to Shanghai on a business trip, the transportation is convenient and easy.

Location is perfect and the appartment is cosy and clean. Balcony is a plus

Bit smaller than i thought

It's great, the location is convenient, and it's not far from the subway, which is very convenient for me.

The location is very close to the subway station, and it is very convenient to eat, drink and play around, with convenience stores and restaurants all around. The mattress is soft and firm, the bedding is skin-friendly and breathable, and the soundproofing is also good. There is no unpleasant smell in the room. The front desk is always ready to help and has a very good attitude.

Good location in a lovely part of Shanghai. Staff very friendly and responsive.

I like it very much, it is very suitable for permanent residence, it is the second time to stay in this homestay, it is very good.

Hygienic and clean, comfortable to stay

The environment, price, and facilities were all perfect. The butler's English was excellent, and they helped us solve many problems. The room was newly renovated. The bathroom drainage was a bit slow. The air conditioner is not cooling enough.

The room layout is reasonable, the toilet area is clean, the bed is very soft, the children sleep very soundly, the sense of security is very strong, and it is strongly recommended for families with children to stay.

The cozy little home is clean and comfortable, and the experience is excellent.

The landlord replied very quickly, the check-in instructions were clear, the details were well done, and the toiletries and drinking water were ready.

Very good, the room is also very good, I like it very much.
