City Living Apartment 119 - Private Balcony, Washing Machine & Fast WiFi

Space was clean , and cosy , Tv and WiIFI were working effectively .

There was no hot water to shower before check-out time unfortunately

Environment was nice I will like to come again 🙂

Nice place, we however stayed in another unit in the same bloc because there were some issues with hot water. We were offered to still use amenities in this unit if we needed (wash machine etc.). Overall basic but very nice.

The apartment itself was exactly as pictured, spacious balcony and the location was ideal for all activities planned for the duration of our stay. The host, Mash, is excellent. Very friendly and accommodating; we felt well looked after.

On the first night of our stay there was a power outage in the area that lasted almost a full day. To make up for it somewhat Mash arranged breakfast for us at a nearby cafe, which was sweet.

The place was peaceful n it was nice n clean n security where friendly at the receptionist everything was 10/10

A beautiful and cozy stay. The host ( Mash ) is warm and very welcoming. The bed was comfortable, I really can't complain. And its value for money The water from the shower was hot hot!

Some of the security guards in the complex had unnecessary attitudes and couldn't conversate with guests.

It's a great place to stay, every time I go to Joburg I try to stay here, very convenient location.

Sometimes on the weekends can be too loud and in summer can get too hot inside. The second time I stayed I had an issue with the sheets and they managed the problem very well.

Room overall was clean , loved it .

Very cute and cosy. Loved how spacious the balcony was. Loved that it had kitchen and bathroom essentials, what you see is what you get for sure. Security staff was friendly and assisted with anything we needed. Definitely a beautiful complex.

The apartment is quite small, wish it was a lil spacious. Otherwise, I wish I could’ve extended my stay.

The studio is well equipped and very comfortable. You have all you need. The internet was stable and very good. Communication was excellent. I got all the information after booking. Very smart. The manager was very helpful to sort me out after I arrived very early in Johannesburg and left in the middle of nowhere

I should have booked for the entire stay. It was booked when I wanted to extend. That’s the fallback for not planning

The fact that it's got a huge balcony and a washing machine

Balcony needs a portable braai stand. Those little soaps are a waste, rather change to those liquid ones you find at other places. No coffee and sugar, just tea I wanna always meet the host or make this a self check in

Yoh the security guards are what made me rate this place an 8. They are bullies!!! It’s like they enjoy making guests feel so intimidated by them. It was only after we spoke to the host that they eased up on the bullying, but ya no ways. They need to do better.

Hosts are very nice. We had no power for almost one day and they insisted to pay us the money back for this day. Important to know: it was not their fault, it was caused by the city's power company. Huge terrace.

Maybe a little bit small but OK. Washing machine was not really working, at least not all programs. The surroundings. You are downtown Johannesburg and as European will may not be used to finding 200 m away a not so "nice" neighborhood. But Main and Fox Street (Maboneng) seem to be quite safe near the apartment. I love the location because its so central everything is easily accessible

they must try to at least leave coffee or teabag and sugar sachets for arrivals, and also they must change the linen for the following day , because I booked for 2 days but I used same towels for both days .

It is home away from home. All facilities are in , including complete kitchen : minibar, oven , microwave, kettle, and utensils. There is also a good washing machine , iron and plate. The best was the large sunny terrace we enjoyed. We have meals in. The area around is old town is neglected government services . Everybody said that it is unsafe but we didn't suffer any problem . In general people are kind and helpful.

Area around is neglected government services and transportation is not easy to visit the interesting places. Reserves are out of Joburg . Public transportation Is not linked. Bolt is not cheap. The most use for citizens is the Minibus Taxi which needs local to help you knowing signs and prices

Oh Goodness where do i even begin. The 2 securities at the reception they have the father love, our checkin was smoo sailing. They escorted us to our Room , when checked in on our Room everything was as it is on pictures. I loved it Apartments 119 is mine im coming back. Thank you guys

This space is super clean and comfortable, very cute. My boyfriend and I really loved this place and it's people. The host was super nice and very helpful. I forgot her name but, she's truly an angel.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND to book this lovely apartment! The place has all you need, it was sparkling clean, and had a very comfortable bed with cotton bedsheets. We stayed 5 days in this apartment. It was very nice that during the power outage our WiFi remained on with a backup battery box, so we could continue to work online! It is a very safe and clean complex with a beautiful garden with small pool, the security is very friendly and helpful. There is a lot to do within walking distance, Maboneng has everything from trendy coffee shops to great eateries, arts galleries and rooftop bars, (You should definitely visit The Livingroom, it is a unique experience) We would have liked to stay longer, but unfortunately our plane tickets were already booked! Thanks again to the hosts you where amazing, we really enjoyed it!

I loved the decorations, the location of the apartment was very peaceful and safe. the Kitchen was very clean with everything you need to cook a meal. The television was in the right spot for visual and the balcony scenery of the pool was very nice. Guards were walking through the facilities to make sure you and the other occupants were safe, they were very helpful with luggage and so were the person to assist you with your check in. I definitely will be staying again.

load shedding was the only problem it was not in the hosts control, the hosts were so gracious they made sure I had a battery for my phone to be charged, wifi was strong at all times and a special light that was given sufficient enough to read etc until load shedding was over. I still had a wonderful experience and will return very soon, this my home away from home.
