Liebevoll eingerichtet.
Tar vare på huset sitt
Sehr schönes Haus mit viel Charakter. Sehr nette Vermieter.

Most cozy and private place to stay. Close to the city center.
Very neat (and yes charming) little historic house. Updated just the right amount to be comfortable yet still retain its old charm. Quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the waterfront and fishing museums. Maybe a 10-15 walk to downtown.
Unfortunately a large concrete apartment building sits right in front of the house which kind of detracts from the overall charm of the area
Charmant huisje met alles erop en eraan! Ligging. Net buiten t centrum, maar perfecte busverbindingen! Wel ingebouwd. Daardoor geen verkeerslawaai.
Ligging wel ingebouwd. Voordeel: geen verkeeslawaai.
A lovely old house within walking distance (20 mins) of central Bergen. Bus stop and shop almost next door. Parking nearby (use the EasyPark App). Although a small house everything you need is there with very good and thorough information left by the hosts.
As it’s a very old property you need to be careful on the tight stairs and mind your head on low beams. Not really suitable for everyone.
Loved this charming place. I felt like I'd gone back in history. We unfortunately used Google maps to find the address and it took us a long way around but we certainly got to see the city and got good exercise pulling our suitcases. Always a positive to every situation 😁
Perhaps the front porch area could have been more inviting. I would suggest that the fence be painted. When we arrived we thought...oh no, it's not a great place, until we opened the door and then we fell in love with it.

Vielen Dank! Gerne wieder!
The house is absolutely charming and modern, but preserving the character of the original building. Really clever adaption. There are lots of great touches that make staying here comfortable and easy. It is.an easy.walk to the city.
We didn't like leaving. Bergen and the house are delightful. Recommend a stay here.
Gode senger. Fin badeplass rett over veien.
Lovely house in a pleasant, quiet area. The house is old but is very well fitted out with modern appliances. Great recommendations from owners regarding local walks/bars/bakery.
There is a booklet left by the owner explaining the history and all necessary information about the house and stay. The little house is so lovely. All the renovation makes it back to life from 1780’s. A short 5 minutes bus ride sent us right at the downtown harbor. A supermarket is only steps away.
Fun! Very quirky little traditional house with everything we needed. Kitchen amazingly well kitted out considering size and age of property. Soap, dishwasher tablets, washing machine and detergent, shower gel and shampoo, some basics in the kitchen. Ideal for a couple but worked for a family of 3 for a couple of nights due to comfy sofa bed. Parking right beside (paying - use the Bergen parking app, there are no signs indicating it being a paying car park!), mini-market and bus stop - very easy to go into town either by bus or a 20 odd minute walk. Easy access to the house with a code so no key to contend with. Excellent contact from hosts and clear information provided. Didn't realise the house was surrounded by other buildings. Not an issue as such but not obvious from the photo as you would expect it was on a street.
Exceptionally well equipped even though tiny, warm and cosy, very helpful hosts. There was nothing we needed that we couldn’t find
Probably not for old people or a larger family as quite little and steps could be tricky
Cosy, heated little house – very clean and well-equipped. It was comfortable and great value for money.
Charming House loved it
It is a little far from some of the downtown activities
We've loved everything ! The cosy old house, the place, the warm welcome, nothing was missing. A perfect journey !
Nothing
Very comfortable for 2-3 people.
This house is beautiful. Cosy, characterful and really adds to the Norwegian experience! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and the house is super clean and comfy YET old, wonky and truly memorable! The bedroom is lovely, the shop is close by and it’s a very nice 20ish minute stroll from the centre of Bergen. Hosts were amazing on communication too!
Being honest, as I read reviews avidly, the outside was looking a little grubby and the house is in a little alley looking at a large new ugly building. Would totally book to stay here again (if wanted to be a bit out of Bergen) as the hosts and inside of the house are 10/10 BUT the outside set up isn’t what we were expecting. Not a negative as such, just our thoughts.
When entering the house, I've instantly fell in love with the nice timber smell of the house. Smells like a sauna in there. Very cozy. Very cute.
I took me a moment to find any light switch in the dark. That's the worst thing I could say about this awesome place.
Comfortable accommodation only a short journey from the centre of Bergen.
We had a wonderful stay at this small and cozy house. It truly felt like a home, with everything well-arranged for a comfortable experience. The flexible check-in was a big plus, making the arrival process smooth and stress-free. The location was excellent—very close to the city center, with a bus stop just a 2-minute walk away. Additionally, the nearby Joker store, also just 2 minutes away, was a great convenience. The host was excellent, providing clear and detailed instructions on how to reach the property, which was incredibly helpful. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and hassle-free stay!
NA
Everything if you want to experience the authentic Bergen then this is for you. It was minus 8 outside and the house was lovely and warm extremely clean and everything you needed to make it at home from home. The local shop called the joker was a 2 min walk from the property and so was the bus stop. You could walk to the centre of Bergen within 20 mins it was perfect !!
Nothing to dislike
We enjoyed this quirky and historic building in a great location only a few bus stops from Central Bergen. The cottage had every modern facility we needed and we felt very comfortable and welcome. The nearby supermarket is very convenient, nearby BOD 24 coffee and cold water plunge is a "must visit".
Property was difficult to find on arrival - Bergen suburban layouts are NOT straight forward and Booking.com detailed instructions are not well presented. The old, two story building worked for us however anyone tall, wide, infirm or less mobile might have had a problem with the narrow spiral stairs.
Very beautiful house despite too small. Perfect for a family of up to three (maybe four) people. Authentic house within the beautiful neighbourhood.
Very cute charming house with a really convenient location. It truly added to our stay in Bergen. Easy communication with hosts and easy check-in and check-out. Perfect for a couple or small family.
Unfortunately we experienced a very bad smell in the house which didn’t go away despite open windows and door. It reeked of something similar to a cat box (pee?) but hosts claimed there were no cats before. We slept with open windows. Apart from that, a very clean house.
A perfectly restored historic home in a quiet but convenient location
Good location, only a 20min walk from the center. Parking available nearby. Super market next door. Washing machine available, proper hair dryer, cooking availability with all the necessities, coffee and tea available. Ideal for two persons. Very comfortable bedsheets.
Sadly no view from within the house.
The house is in walking distance to everything , yet away from the tourist crowds and in a real neighborhood. It is beautifully decorated and every detail has been considered .
Very cute and nice house, prepared with everything you can need. Located near the city center, easily acessible by bus or walking. Also, the house owners were so helpful and friendly.
Nothing, it was a perfect stay.
Fabulous house (our 6-year-old daughter said she would like to live there for ever) with everything we needed, including extremely comfortable beds. Great location within easy reach of the centre and excellent walking routes. Friendly, helpful hosts.
Very cosy and beautiful house. Perfect stay for our vacation.
Lovely little house. Clean and nicely decorated
The house was comfortable and had everything we need.
The location was not so good, but there is a bus nearby to central Bergen. Nowhere to eat dinner nearby. The stairs to the bedroom in our view were dangerous as there is no railing and they are very steep. No good for older people or people with mobility issues.
Absolutely Amazing
All...
Nothing
What a lovely little house! It was cosy, warm, well-equipped and had everything we needed for a long weekend. There are frequent buses into the city center and a supermarket just around the corner, but it's also possible to walk by the waterfront or through the lovely old neighbourhood. The owners are helpful and sent us useful information ahead of our arrival. Would definitely stay again!
Lovely cosy & traditional house. Great hosts. It was equipped with everything you could need. Great location, quiet but walkable to central Bergen & frequent buses nearby.
We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The house is absolutely delightful. It is so cosy and charming and we loved the history of it. We visited Bergen in the winter and so staying in such a cute and cosy house really added to our experience, as the house was part of our holiday as well rather than just being somewhere to sleep. We loved spending our days out sightseeing and then coming back to the house, warming up and getting cosy in the evenings. I could only dream of living somewhere as lovely as this! The house is small but it doesn't feel it because the space is so well thought out - it has everything you could possibly need without ever feeling cramped or cluttered. The house was really warm, the kitchen had loads of equipment and utensils and a good selection of tea/coffee and toiletries were provided. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was really hot and powerful. The TV has loads of channels! The hosts also provided us with lots of information about how to find the house, how to get in and other useful information like WiFi, where to empty the bins, how to get to the airport. They also offered us early check in without us even asking - we didn't arrive into Bergen early enough to use it, but it was a lovely gesture. I absolutely loved Bergen and can't wait to return, and will definitely stay here again when I do. I've stayed in a lot of different apartments and hotels through booking.com and this has absolutely been my favourite stay by far.
Even if I was going to be really picky, I can not think of a single thing we didn't like. The house was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed.
Only bad thing was we couldn’t stay more… everything was just perfect, thank you
The house was perfect. It offered us everything we needed and more. So cosy, authentic and warm.
Good location, walkable to Bryggen but bus stop just outside if you need it. Handy to have Joker just around the corner. The house itself was amazing, comfortable, spacious, spotless clean and, indeed, very charming. Staying there was one of the best things out of our entire trip to Norway.
Full of character, lovely comfy bedroom and bed.
Perfect escape with everything you could need. A real home away from home.
This heritage cottage is utterly charming and beautifully adapted for short stays. The kitchen and upstairs bedroom are well-equipped, and the sofa bed downstairs is very comfortable. The heating is very effective. The location is perfect - a short walk from central Bergen but also away from the city. We loved waterfront cafe Bod24 across the road and walking into the city along different backstreets.
Some night blinds would make the downstairs living area easier to sleep in.
Beautiful old house circa 1770 in a lovely part of Bergen…. Except when raining. (always)… right on bus stop !! Walkable to centre and easy bus Would really recommend to get out of hustle and bustle, supermarket 30m away, and fully equipped kitchen …. Very handy in Norway to be able to eat in !! Owners very approachable and helpful. One bus train ticket 40k to airport from near front door ! 6 aud 4 euro !!
The front door can be tricky … if the lock fails keep persisting and lift the handle !! The staircase requires you to be nimble !!
The house is lovely and beautifully decorated. It's great to be able to live (even only for a few days) in a typical old Bergen house. You can almost feel its history! The residential area where it is located is only a few minutes away by bus from the city centre. There are lots of buses that run frequently. The grocery shop next door was also very convenient. Inside the house there is all you need and it felt safe also for our 4 year old. It felt very cosy to come back here after exploring Bergen.
There was quite loud music coming from a neighbouring house. Something to be aware of if you stay over a weekend.
Comfortable place to chill Excellent beds - even the double pull out
Walking to it from the train station with bags Once we figured out the buses it was a lot easier
Cozy and charming house in a historic neighbourhood. Quality bed sheets, towels, kitchen and interior. Very helpful hosts. Spotless stay.
Everything was great.
Great location, very good equiped, quet, away from tourist flow, nice towels and bed linen, feeling of great experience beeing and living like locals.
kitchen Table needs a little retauration.
Our last stop after 2 months travelling. The hosts here have thought of everything their guests might possibly need and it was by far the best equipped place we have stayed in. Bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. There was a warning that the hot water tank capacity was small but 3 of us staying there had no problems with hot water supply. I felt the house had a very welcoming atmosphere and was great value.
Such a shame a large ugly building was ever allowed to be built in front of this historic house, but I suppose that keeps the house at a very reasonable price for Bergen.
The house is wonderful, we had everything we needed there! :-) The location is also pretty nice, you can reach the city center, hiking starting points and the train station by foot and also stroll through the cute neighbourhood. You can check-in by yourself which is very convinient as well :)
Nothing to tell, if you are missing a view just go outside to the docks or a few minutes by foot to get a view over the whole city :-)
The privilege of being able to stay in a typical Bergen house dating from 1779. I was so glad I found it. The house was close to Bergen centre and there was a bus stop practically right outside. Accommodation was comfortable and warm. Well equipped kitchen. Joker local shop round the corner. We did not meet Praewa and Kim but they responded quickly to any questions and were incredibly helpful.
Nothing to dislike.☺️
We arrived early and the owners were able to check us in earlier than planned. This house exceeded our expectations. It was a home away from home. Super cosy and comfortable.
liked dublex old traditiional bergen house. everything inside and all clean.
there was nothing unlike
Really charming, clean and beatiful house.
Extremely well equipped, lovely piece of Bergen's history. Bed was comfortable, and the underfloor heating was superb. Will be my go to property for a stay in Bergen in the future.
A cute and cosy house in an excellent location with everything you need for a short stay. We didn't meet Kim and Praewa, our hosts, but their information and instructions were spot on and we knew we could call them if we needed anything.
Nothing to dislike, everything was great.
The house was perfect. One of the coziest and well stuffed places I've ever been. Highly recommended!
Everything was great. Especially, the guide book was really helpful. I enjoyed hiking as Kim told. And then, had a nice experience in the apartment.
Nothing.
We had a really great time! The house is amazing and the host is friendly.
Absolute gem of a house. Very authentic old house but modern and comfortable. The attention to detail was second to none. Every little thing you could need was there. It's impressive how much can be done with a relatively small space! We felt totally cosy and at peace. The area is lovely and by the sea. A shop is right next door. Our communication with the hosts was superb too. We'd love to come back and stay longer!
We loved everything.
All was perfect! The house is beautiful and the hosts are really helpful ! Thank you so much!
Well equipped kitchen. Induction stove meant cooking was easy. Had all the needed equipment for cooking including a can opener. Hosts left an instruction manual for the house and area. This helped alot with simple things like grocery shopping and finding local attractions.
Stairs feel a bit dangerous. Lighting in the house is very soft and difficult to read under. Shower curtain was not that nice.
