Just wish that there was a remote control for the garage. That would also have meant installing locks for the door leading from the garage into the house.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025Good location with lake and mountain views. Short drive to town. Quiet neighborhood. The property was modern, spacious and comfortable.
The shower gel in the bathrooms came in little disposable bottles in limited quantities. Would have been nicer to have those refillable bottles so you are not worried about running out and is easier to use.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2025Modern layout and high end finish. Outdoor indoor flow. Ideal for us family of 4 kids can have one room each. Great view see a bit of lake. Close to town. 7 mins to supermarket. Full set of cooking items.
No remote control for the garage door. so we had to push the button and run. No dryer. We would love to get clothes and swimsuits washed and dried the same day.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2025Words to do this place justice???? Only one, PERFECT!!!! We were there with our son and his partner who were both competing in the Taupo Ironman event. To have this place that was so clean, relaxing, comfortable and so very well laid out, was brilliant! Even down to being able to use the garage for their valuable equipment. I wish we could say that we will return but sadly, as we are from England we probably will not. But lasting memories, especially the views from the balcony! Magical!!!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT EXCEPT THE BEDROOMS IN DOWNSTAIRS . WHEN ITS HOT DAYS IT WAS BIT UNCOMFARTABLE TO SLEEP, I WISH THE HAD 2 FANS IN DOWN STAIRS ROOMS OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOOD

Reviewed Nov 26, 2023The location and view of Lake Taupo are hard to beat. The property was large, clean, and new. It was a comfortable place to relax and get some work done. Not having to struggle with parking was an extra bonus.
There was an odd smell upstairs that I didn't enjoy. I don't think it was from an issue, but maybe a scent choice. That's obviously subjective, but would have been nicer without.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2023The accommodation was modern and comfortable! The views from the balcony was incredible, the photo's don't even do it justice. At the back there is also a balcony with a large dinning table and BBQ, which looks out to tranquil greenery. We sat there every evening and had dinner as a family. The staff have thought of everything you might need to use in the kitchen - it is so well-equipped! We loved our stay so much, we extended it another night. The staff were super helpful and quick to answer any questions.
Nothing - it was a fantastic stay!
