This was self-catering. We liked the verandah, where we ate most of the time. The kitchen was well-equipped. We never invstigated whether the microwave doubled up as an oven. My adult son had plenty of space to do his exercise regime! Parking was free, safe and secured. The location was excellent, 5 minutes from a quiet beach and right next to a tram station, running all the way from Alicante to Benidorm. The place was quiet (in spite of the trams, which are electric anyway), and looked out onto a lot of greenery, despite the dryness of the countryside at this time of year. The more traditional houses were a relief from a lot of the architecture of the coastline which is endless blocks of holiday flats. Coveta Fuma is a pretty small village, with coastal walking, for people with some level of fitness! There is a small shop and a few restaurants. Plenty of supermarkets within a few miles, likewise a motorway, though this is far enough away not to hear the noise. The small sandy beach - Morro Blanc - was better than Almerador, which is very pebbly. No time to explore other coves.
The smaller bedroom seemed clearly for children, and there was no bedside table or light or headboard for the bed. The village shop has very restricted hours. We liked the village atmosphere but the hens at 5.30 in the morning are a downside of that! The coastal path is not very well signed.
