Warm Hanoi, near Hoankiem Lake, 2Brs, Old Quarter

Het was een heerlijk verblijf. Fijne communicatie die snel verliep. Ze regelden een transfer vanaf het vliegveld naar het appartement. Daar werden we heel vriendelijk onthaald. Alles netjes uitgelegd. Locatie was perfect in the old Quarter. We zouden het iedereen aanraden! 10/10

The room was incredibly spacious and in an excellent location. The host was great to communicate with and the facilities were exactly as described.

The location was absolutely awesome. So close to everything incl Hoan Kiem lake. Sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the street was such fun. Perfect on a weekend as so close to the pedestrian area.

The shower pressure is pretty terrible. Ok for washing body but difficult to wash hair. Otherwise no issues.

Beds were super comfy! And the staff were amazing! Yea it felt like you were in temple of doom walking to it at night but the place was amazing! The little balcony was so cute overlooking the busy street perfect for people watching. It was clean and spacious.

Location is excellent and gives an insight to life in Hanoi Old Quarter. People watching from the balcony is great. Beds are v comfortable. Good communication via WhatsApp with host.

It’s located on a noisy street so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The dark alley was a little intimidating on first arrival but don’t be put off by this- once inside, you have everything you need.

This place was cozy and very well situated in Old Quarter. The balcony is lovely with interesting street views. I enjoyed going down the little alleyway to get to the apartment. Be aware - it's a dark narrow alley followed by stairs. I however liked it. Nearby CoBa Bakery is excellent for drinks and snacks. There's a small fridge and a kitchen area that we didn't use except for hand washing. It was a great place for a family with 2 teens but I wouldn't put little kids upstairs.

The downstairs mattress is quite hard. The shower takes a bit of getting used to as it needs to heat for each person and the hot water runs out. The shower head also needs replacing as it's leaking. However the bathroom facilities overall are adequate and authentic. Bedside tables on each side with a lamp would be a big improvement.

Quite run down feel with the access through dark passages and doors hanging off the cupboards.

Proximity to old city quarter. The view from the balcony to the old quarter. All the facilities including the iron and iron board. Cleanliness could be more.

The entry to the room was very shady. The moldy smell and dusty kitchen.

We had a good stay at Warm Hanoi. Our hostess was very nice, it was a great location & we had most everything that we needed.

There was some noise from the street & neighbours.

Понравилось все! Так все необычно. Если хотите заглянуть внутрь домов, то вам сюда. Так все необычно и здорово. Туалет и душ на балконе так вообще )))) Но не бойтесь замерзнуть, там стоит обогрев и очень тепло. Сам балкон на улицу это прям красота. Эта бала наша последняя ночь во Вьетнаме и мы прощались с Вьетнамом на этом балконе. Женщина, которая нас встретила, была очень приветлива и очень подробно нам все рассказала, показала и объяснила.

The lady that let us in was extremely friendly and although had minimal English, was so thorough when explaining the details with getting in and out of the apartment. The location was fantastic as right in the middle of OQ with the balcony overlooking the busy streets. The apartment was really comfortable, both beds were great. Overall a great experience

Vừa có chuyến đi chơi thú vị ở khu phố cổ Hà Nội. Mình chọn một căn homestay gần Hồ Gươm, vị trí cực thuận tiện. Phòng được trang trí đẹp, kết hợp hài hòa giữa cổ điển và hiện đại, rộng rãi, đầy đủ tiện nghi – rất phù hợp cho gia đình hoặc nhóm bạn. Cô chủ cực kỳ thân thiện và mến khách, tạo cảm giác gần gũi như ở nhà. Nếu có dịp quay lại Hà Nội, chắc chắn mình sẽ chọn nơi này lần nữa! 🌿🏡✨

Area was great, right in the middle of the old Quarter, close to Hoan Kiem lake etc. Very authentic Vietnamese living. Great communication from owner with explanation of how to use everything. Great air con.

Noise from nearby apartments (loud TV, noisy neighbours etc). Bathroom very basic (added on the balcony). OK if you are on a tight budget / backpacking etc but we were a family of 4 (with 2 teenage daughters) so it just didn't suit us. Bed hard (we both woke up with stiff backs).

Sucio, asqueroso, cutre, portal de terror. Estuvimos a punto de no alojarnos al ver el baño y la cocina. La cocina muy sucia, impracticable por la suciedad acumulada. Cuidado con las cucarachas.

Location was great, loved the quirkiness for our first stay in Vietnam.

It's a strange entrance through a narrow passage way and into the back of the property. For an inexperienced traveler it may be a bit daunting

Tricky to find at first, but in true Hanoi fashion, it's a long dark alleyway that opens out onto a courtyard that revels a whole new world. So what looked mystifying, became wonderful

The sofa was not comfortable at all, the bathroom not very nice either. The building entrance is horrible and dirty, overall a bit overpriced for the comfort and entrance appearance

Great location! Right in the middle of the bustling old quarter. 2 beds upstairs were comfy and the one downstairs was ok. We had to walk down a dark and dirty alley to get there but once inside it was fine.

There would have been an extra charge to clean the kitchen if we had used it. Limited contact with the host

There should be a minimum of 2 keys provided for a 3-bed room. Otherwise, if someone decides not to go out after 10 pm, they are "locked in" until their roommates return to the property.

Great location, and the balcony is great to do some people watching. Check in was so easy. Very spacious.

I like the area cause it's spaceous and beds are comfortable.. Place is walking distance to the center and many tourist spots.

I don't like the stairs going up.. If you have seniors citizens going with you, it would be hard for them...

Very small bathroom. Tricky to have a decent shower. Need to go out on to the balcony to get into the bathroom which can leave you exposed to the street.

Location, location. Great being in the Old Quarter. The keys access and location of the apartment is quirky but fun.

Hot water wasn't on when we arrived. The bathroom was quite dirty. Firm bed.

Location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the old quarter, minutes walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. Balcony is a great to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. Step out the door to be right amongst the chaos of Hanoi.

The bathroom and the kitchen was outside and separated from the room. Entrance ally is not clean. The ladder to top floor is bit unsafe.

The property is located at the heart of Hanoi. The room have a very nice balcony and good facilities. The balcony offers stunning views of the city, allowing guests to truly immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere. With comfortable furnishings and modern amenities, the room provides a cozy and convenient stay for travelers. Additionally, the property's excellent facilities ensure that guests have everything they need for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Lovely host, very helpful. The Appartement is very nice, excellent Location directly in the Old Quarter. The Kitchen is outside directly next to the balcony- that we Loved! We Had a very nice stay with our Family!

This is a quaint little unit right in the heart of Hanoi. The location and value was exceptional. There is a lovely balcony that looks over the street and to each side of the balcony is a little kitchen to one side and the bathroom to the other. The bathroom is one room with a toilet and shower in a small space. A little different but it works.

There was no sign to know you found the correct place. The unit is down a little alley and up some stairs on the 2nd floor. So a sign would have been useful. Saying that I called the owner and they were there within 10 minutes.

Thee entry might put off some people but once you are in the room it's a really cool place to stay looking directly over a city street a stones throw from the old quarter

The location was perfect, the hosts were very helpful.

The location in the old town was magnificent.

Unfortunately there was no heating and we had to suffer through a cold spell. To get to the kitchen and bathroom you had to go outside on the balcony. Not ideal especially in winter. Would have liked to know this before we booked.

Location is fabulous and loved having the balcony to sit out on. Personally I loved it. If you’ve looked at the photos properly you know that it’s authentic not not brand new… bathroom is past the bedroom downstairs and that the steps up to the mezzanine are steep…so if this works for you this is a gem of a find in Hanoi

The apartman looked exactly like on the pictures, has the best location you can ask for. The host was available all the time, she even helped us to lock in our stuff at our last day when we visited ha long bay. I really recommend you to book this place when you come to Hanoi:)

Location was good, in the Old Quarter, and close to the lake, shops and restaurants, and there is even a bakery-cafe just downstairs. Apartment was very clean and comfortable, with TV and cable, kitchen had all the necessary equipment including fridge. Host was sweet and hospitable, and explained everything we needed to know. I only wished there was a night lamp/light, near the staircase, in case the kids needed to use the bathroom at night. But it may not be a very crucial detail if your travellers aren't young kids.

The only downside, since it was in the Old Quarter and facing a main road, the noise level was quite high, furthermore we were there during Christmas Eve, the noise from motorbikes was epic level...honking till way past 1am. But thankful that the sliding glass doors of the balcony kept the sound to bearable. Nevertheless it was still a very interesting experience for my family (2 of us + 4 kids).

Very good mattresses and pillows, great location close to everything we wanted to see, very friendly host who helped arrange things for us, plenty of hot water, great WiFi. AC worked very well. We slept like babies. The apartment was clean. Much recommended.

The access to the apartment is really shabby and smelly through a dark narrow passageway (very typical in Hanoi Old Quarter). There was no shower cubicle so when we took a shower, everything was wet (floor, toilet).

We had a great stay here. The location is perfect. Close to the lake, many restaurants, cafes and shops. We loved the little balcony! The host is so lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend!!

Location and host

The passage to the unit is smelly and narrow. Our 3 yr old called the place a “stinky house”—not the house itself but the passage way. There are a few units along the wau that emit all kinds of smell. Had i known about this small info—i would not have rented the unit.

The balcony is so cute and great to hang out and experience the town of Hanoi. The location of the apartment is walkable to many famous Hanoi attractions and great cafes.
