Unique & Scandinavian Suite - Sauna, Center, Metro

Wet nice layout, spacious. Location was nice. Close to groceries and sites. Walkable from train station.

Bathroom and toilet closet were small. Somewhat expected in older European cities but can surprise you when you have a 6’6” 350 pound person with you.

Near Helsinki city centre.

The first thing we noticed on arrival was the smell. It was like a stale carpet smell, possibly coming from the rugs. We opened all the windows but it never went away. The apartment was advertised as newly renovated but the paint was literally peeling from the woodwork throughout. The toilet was in a separate room from the shower and the basin was so tiny you could only wash your hands there and not eg your face. The basin in the shower room was on top of the washing machine so you had to lean over the washing machine to use it which was awkward. Also the mirror was so high up that unless you were over 2m tall you couldn’t see your face in it, only your forehead. It meant there was nowhere to have a shave as the toilet was too tiny. In one of the bedrooms the ceiling had been stripped back to the bare plaster and was cracked and in poor condition possibly from a water leak. The armchairs in the living room were grubby and badly stained.

Todo estaba muy limpio. Bonita decoración. Camas muy cómodas y buena ubicación en Kamppi. La pequeña sauna en el baño es un aliciente.

The property is clean and has a nice Scandinavian-style design. We appreciated that a sauna was provided in the shower room, which is a nice additional feature.

The location was not as convenient as expected, as it is not very close to the central area or the ferry terminal, so getting around was less convenient. The apartment also felt quite small, and the lighting in the living room was insufficient. Unfortunately, the main living room light was not working during our stay. I contacted the owner to inform them about the issue, but unfortunately did not receive a response. As a result, the living room was quite dark, which made us feel uncomfortable when spending time there. Although the property has a sauna, the shower room is very small, so we did not end up using it.

Noise early in the morning due to bins being emptied (warm at night so the bedroom windows needed to be open). Electrics in.poor condition, bedroom lights only worked intermittently & cooker didn't work.

The sofa bed wasn't the most comfy and it would have been good to have black out curtains in the lounge like in the bedrooms, but apart from that we had a lovely time

Der Schlüssel befand sich in einer Schlüsselbox in der Nähe des Hauses. Alle Informationen zum Check in und Check out, sowie zur Nutzung der Wohnungen waren ausreichend vorhanden und gut. Eine schön renovierte Altbauwohnung mit Fahrstuhl. Besonders gefiel uns wie sauber alles war, die Sauna und die Nähe zu Geschäften und Straßenbahn. Für 4 Personen genau die richtige Größe.

Die Altbauwohnung war etwas hellhörig und die Tür zum Bad hat sehr laut geknarrt. Es gab zu wenig Haken für Handtücher und keine Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad. Ein Regal wäre schön.

het was een warm (temperatuur) voelend huis. (april/mei). geen verduisterende gordijnen bij aanwezigheid slaapbank in woonkamer.

Sehr gemütliche und komfortable Ferienwohnung. Gute Ausstattung, schönes skandinavisches Design und zentrale Lage. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Viel Stauraum.

Der Badezimmerspiegel hängt sehr hoch, so daß man sich nicht wirklich gut sehen konnte. Es gibt aber genügend weitere Spiegel in der Wohnung, so daß dies nicht wirklich ein Problem darstellt. Der Duschkopf ist etwas klein.

The apartment is very nice and very beautiful, the location is also great. We were confused by the many instructions left in the apartment on the walls, on the table. It caused a little stress from time to time, whether we would do everything correctly, or not get fines, etc. Therefore, it did not allow us to fully enjoy the accommodation. But overall - the apartment is really tasteful and beautiful, all the necessary information is also available.

Location was amazing being walking distance to Kamppi shopping center and the metro there. The rooms were warm and cozy with a lot of living space. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and having a sauna ensuite was simply amazing. We used it nearly every night. We would absolutely stay here again and quite probably will. We loved being able to do laundry daily so we could minimize our packing and the fact it was a wash and ry unit in one was great so no need to remember to transfer. Just a 3 hour cycle and you are done. Parking is a bit expensive as it is in the city core, but that is what you get for the location. Lots of street parking is available for 4 Euro per hour from 9AM to 9PM weekdays and 9AM to 6PM Saturday - Sundays Free. Bear in mind, there are also car garages nearby that charge a daily max of 36-38 Euro so if you plan to leave a car for a day or so that might be a better option than the street parking.

Nothing I didn't like. Garbage cans outdoors are a bit confusing as you need to navigate two courtyards to sort the recyclables (i.e. the metal cans and glass are in the second courtyard) but this is not a negative, just helpful to know b4. I would add a few small kitchen items though like a pizza wheel cutter, large silicone spatula, and a decent bread knife. Otherwise, you have all you need. Oh, and the oven is also a microwave with the first couple of settings being for microwave function ( cue is asking for wattage) and the remainder being oven which asks for temp setting. For those who have not seen this type of system it can be a bit confusing. Again, not a negative, just a different experience so you might need to figure it out a bit.

特になし。 小さい事ですが、洗面所の鏡の位置が高すぎて見えませんでした。しかし、玄関の鏡を使うことで解消されたので問題ありません。

Beautiful large and spacious light filled apartment. Well equipped and in a brilliant location within walking distance of the cafe/bar/museum/designer precincts. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Liked location and large sitting room - which was a spacious bright and relaxing space .

Bathroom is very small and shower is tiny - adequate for us as we were all small people but really sauna is of no benefit as it cramps the space in the bathroom Bed linen probably needs upgrade also

bathroom is quite small an extra shelf would be very useful. We had very hot weather therefore the apartment was really hot and we were not able to sleep with open windows due to the surrendering noises (the other residents didn't respect the quite time).

We really liked the location as it meant we could walk everywhere and get around the city very quickly Ollie and Essie had given really clear instructions where to find the lock box with photos which was very helpful It was also really quiet at night so great for sleeping The flat had everything you need and was comfortable - it was great to use the sauna one evening after a long day travelling

The mirror in the shower room is very high so suitable for tall people only and the basin was quite high too which made it a bit awkward to use

A lovely apartment with an awesome host—couldn’t have asked for more! Highly recommended!

The flat is very nicely decorated and it’s comfortable. There are enough pans, dishes and utensils to cook, and then have a meal at the large table in the main room. The flat is conveniently situated at walking distance from the train station and not far from a big supermarket located in the Kampi shopping centre. The communication with Ollie was excellent.

Great location - close to everything. Sauna - perfect place to relax after long days. Peaceful environment - despite everything was close, the location was really calm, quiet and safe. Clean - as a family with allergies, we valued cleanliness very much!
