Number 34 Bed and Breakfast York

Everything was just right in our opinion, nothing could be improved .

There wasn't anything to dislike .

Good breakfast, central location, lovely room

Hairdryer in room needs replaced. I spoke to the owner and he did say it would be replaced.

Number 34 had everything we needed. The room was lovely and the beds were comfortable. Just a short walk into York which was great. The breakfast was lovely and there was no problem getting gluten free options which was so helpful. Having parking was a real bonus. Would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in York. Thank you

Nothing we didn't like

comfy and clean and very close to the city centre

nothing

Staff were really nice and polite. The breakfast was really good. Our room was exactly what we needed.

Location was perfect, only 10 min walk to town, comfy and clean room.

Would have been great for 11am checkout instead of 10am!

Tutto come previsto

Nulla

Very close to Bootham bar in the City walls, 15 minutes away from the Shambles or the station. Amazing breakfast and the hosts are absolutely the best. The room was very clean, and you could tell the place is well taken care of.

I have no criticism :)

Stayed here with my wife and couldn't have asked for more. The room was cozy and sparkling clean, and the location in the center of town made getting around so convenient. The host was wonderfully polite and helpful, and the breakfast was truly generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

In una zona molto tranquilla, vicinissimo al centro. Host disponibile e gentile

The property is an easy walk from the train station, easy to access on arrival with option to pay by card machine when you get there. Rooms are decorated lovely with comfortable beds and good facilities. The house was quiet with very little outside noise meaning a great sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were plentiful with everything tasting delicious.

Couldn’t fault anything

Staff is very kind and helpful. This B&B location is ideal : 15mins to the center, in a quiet neighborhood. Rooms are confortable

Ruime fijne familiekamer met goede bedden. Heerlijk ontbijt. Vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer.

Friendly staff

Good location

Comfortable and well equipped, a homely feel, near to amenities, restaurants etc. The cottage was perfect for my brother and myself for a short stay, with two comfy bedrooms.

I found the steep stairs a little challenging, with my physical problems, but accept that it is an older property and they are part of that ‘oldness’.

Clean and friendly and close to the city and minister .

Breakfast excellent

Air con in room

Nice quiet road within easy walking distance of city centre. Fresh decor and comfortable bed.

Alles top!

Very convenient for a one night stay.

Parking was easy.

Friendly staff and good breakfast

Breakfast was poor

Breakfast

Location was perfect for heading into town. Room was clean and well laid out. Bathroom was a good size, shower had good pressure. Breakfast was amazing, I love the nicely laid out table, good selection. If im in York again, this will be my choice of stay again

Nothing really, it was a wonderful stay

The place is nice& the person that owns it is very helpful but you do have to pay £5 a day to park on the street as its primit holds only which is not advised that's on top of your room, the breakfast is good too.

Nothing get looked after great. If I come back would stay there again.

Check-in fácil e rápido, sem burocracia nenhuma.

Great value in an excellent location. Room was clean and very comfortable. Inclusion of breakfast was an added bonus, being well presented, tasty and with plenty of options.

Quiet, fresh air, good breakfast.

TV wasn’t working on arrival. Chairs in the breakfast room creaking quite loudly. Wash-basin too small for a comfortable shave. Someone tramping around loudly in room either next to mine or above mine in the early hours of the morning, disturbing me from my sleep.

Close to city centre. Excellent food

A small chair in the room

Made us Welcome 🤗

Great staff and location is very good. A short 10 minute walk to the centre.

Nothing. Only had a single room, but it had everything I needed.

Nett geführtes Haus in ruhiger Lage.

Alles okay.

A fan in the room would have been useful. Fortunately I always take mine with me :)

A very short walk to the centre and places of interest. Breakfast good and staff friendly and helpful.

Nothing.

Very friendly owners and a lovely room Very easy to park Breakfast was a perfectly cooked 10/10 Also very close walk into York Can't wait to stay again

Location

Late breakfast so wasn’t able to enjoy before having to leave at 7:30 am.

Everything excellent service in alll areas. Will stay again.

Nulla

Breakfast was good, quantity enough for a busy day and nothing was missing from it. Very short walk to the touristy parts of the city centre. Room and bathroom were clean and hosts very friendly. They sorted the parking for us for just a small fee for 24 hours parking.

Really nothing major at all to note. Maybe another piece of bacon and a sausage for breakfast.

Quiet comfortable room. Very convenient for station and city centre, Excellent for solo traveller.

The l owner was really nice very friendly

Nothing

Amazing location. Breakfast was good.

The beds were awful - rock hard and impossible to sleep on. The kettle in our room was full of scale build-up. The bathroom was tiny.

Great location. Good breakfast.

Room/bathroom 'compact'.

Friendly hosts. Amazing breakfast. Close proximity to the town centre.

Room was quite hot

Close to the centre parking outside property Good breakfast friendly service

The bed was very hard. Just needs a mattress topper on it

Clean and pleasant accommodation, friendly and helpful host and a very enjoyable breakfast. Although the owner wasn't there checking in was easy as my keys and room number were left easily accessable for me.

A little walk to the city centre and most tourist attractions about 20 minutes but flat with good pavements and well lit.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty.

I didn't like going through an alley to get to the annexe and hearing a lot of noise from above.

Consigliato senza dubbio a chiunque voglia visitare York.

Freundlicher Empfang, gemütliches Zimmer, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür (£5). Fußläufig zur Innenstadt.

The room was in the annex which was lovely and quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The bathroom is extremely narrow and the shower very small with poor water pressure. The breakfast was from a limited choice in food and hours served, but it was what I expected for what I paid.

Great location and super breakfast.

Nothing.

Cleanliness of the room. The owner/staff were friendly.

We booked two rooms but can only use one room. The single room was in the alley way. You need to pass a dirty , old and a dusty passage to the room. The room itself was clean but so tiny. Have to walk side way to get through. It shouldn’t be rented out.

Good location walking distance from the train station and old town. It was clean, the wifi worked well, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good.

It’s expensive for what it is. The room was very warm and there was no fan . Low water flow in the shower. The pillows and linen are old. There was nobody on site for me to check in - I had to call and be talked through it over the phone.

Breakfast was delicious. Room was large and comfortable. Hosts were extremely accommodating and it was a really short walk into York city centre.

Nothing

Everything you need for a brief stay. Clean comfortable and close enough to town. Good breakfast. Most importantly friendly helpful owners

Great location with about 15 minutes walk to the city centre or the train station and a supermarket half-way. Very clean room with a pillows selection and a kettle, not very spacious but absolutely sufficient for overnight stays. Very attentive and friendly hosts with delicious breakfast options which were freshly prepared every morning.

No air-conditioning in the room means it can get sticky on a hot day and our room was hard to ventilate, however such high temperatures in York should be still an absolute exception.

Room was perfect including the comfortable bed.

Best ive been to Host very helpful and accommodating

Excellent breakfast. very helpful & nice staff

nothing

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very clean and quiet.

De ligging vlakbij het centrum. Ontbijt was heerlijk. Bed was goed.

Comfortable and spacious room. Impeccable cleanliness, excellent pillows and bed linens. Jason’s hospitality made me feel at home. Excellent location. Highly recommended!

Had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The place was peaceful and not so far from the Centre and train station, about 10-15 mins walk. The service at the breakfast was great
