The hotel I was originally booked at did not exist (I chose it from Concur business booking through my company). Hotel Iberia took me in juuuust before midnight. 11:57pm, to be exact. Third floor with 120lbs of luggage, but desk attendant carried the big suitcase up for me. The hotel reminded me of European hotels and I ended up getting a good night’s sleep.

Everything was what I needed. A bed was more important than an elevator!

Location is fantastic, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and the supermarket next door with breakfast and lunch counter was so good:. Beds very comfortable and room spacious, staff very helpful and nice, lovely terrace with lots of greenery on the roof. We left our suitcases after check out in dedicated luggage room before the cruise and came back to pick up in the afternoon, 10 min in a taxi from airport and 10 min to cruise port, location was perfect

No lift, and water presume with hot water takes time to get going but nice hot water after a bit is great, shower facilities could be improved but 1 or 2 nights before cruise this hotel is a great option

Et si vous payé comptant Attention y va peut-etre vous charger 2.50$ US en plus sur votre facture ! Vérifier ! Anglais approximatif . Chambre pas pire , climatisation bruyante , matelas vraiment pas confortable , toilette archaique , pas d ascenseur! Porte de toilette a ajuster et fait un bruit d enfer , pas bcp de variété de restaurants dans le coin

I loved the proximity to restaurants and the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best thing I remember was the fact that you could not check in after 12am. The main door is locked, and you have to have a key to get in and out which made us feel very secure.

The only thing I didnt like was the fact that we had to step up into the bathroom and the toilet was a little too low for me and my husband as we are taller. If you are on the shorter side you will be fine. We also did not have any hot water so showers were very short. You have to also be mindful whne travelling with your luggage. There are no elevators so be mindful.

This was a perfect stay over boutique style hotel for a cruise. All worked out perfectly!

Overall excellent stay in this family-run hotel. Nice size room and bathroom. Cold AC. Within walking distance of beach, Condado district and nearby shopping areas. Great and affordable location as I needed a place to stay before my cruise the next day.

The location and easy checkin process

I left very disappointed with my stay. The room was not clean at all. There were stains on the sheets and pillows, and there was even hair inside the mattress. The bathroom had insects moving around, and the shower area was dirty. Water pressure was very weak, making it difficult to use the shower properly. The room only had three bars of low-quality soap as amenities. The sheets and towels seemed unwashed, and the room was full of mosquitoes. In addition, the Wi-Fi did not work at all. Noise from the neighboring room was extremely loud; we were woken up at 3 AM, and the sound insulation was essentially nonexistent. Even though my expectations were not high, the level of cleanliness and overall condition of the room was unacceptable.

Precio, amabilidad de Cristobal, ubicación por supuesto, a pocos minutos de la placita y con un supermercado gigante 24h al lado. Nos alojaron después de que nos dejaran tirado otro hotel y nos atendieron super bien.

Christopher was very accommodating.

Rooms were on the second floor and no elevator. The facility is 126 years old and some parts show the age. The bathroom was atrocious. The noise level from the street was excessive.

Great location, unique old hotel with interesting architecture. Christopher (the manager/owner) was amazing!

The bed and pillows were hard

Staff was friendly and rooms were kept clean.

The noise, it was very loud and couldn't get a decent night's sleep. People kept throwing doors.

The rooftop garden and the cat up there were lovely. That’s about it.

The shower did not turn on. Just a drip of yellow water. No working shower! The sheets were so thin and slippery and kept sliding all over the bed, and they had hair and dirt in them. Seems like they had not been cleaned. The pillows were hard as rocks and so thick that we couldn’t sleep with them. Had to sleep with no pillows. The bed was so squeaky every time we rolled over or made any movement. Bright lights from the parking lot next-door shone in our room all night. No one got any sleep.

The fact, that I was charged for a room with 2 bed and received a room with 1 bed.

Older hotel rooms and furniture. Rooms were ok, not modern or decorative. No elevator or pool, had to carry luggage to 2nd floors. Shower and piping were antiquated. Very little pressure in showers

Sehr nettes authentisches Hotel in guter Lage zu Old San Juan und Contado, sehr sauber und gepflegt, sehr freundliches Personal, 24/7 Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, in dem man prima frühstücken kann, Restaurants und Strände fußläufig, beim Parken aufpassen, dass man keine Verbotszone nimmt!

Hyvä hotelli, kunhan tiedostaa että kyseessä erittäin vanha rakennus. Ilmastointi toimii hyvin, mutta pitää kovaa ääntä. Äänet kuuluvat käytävältä huoneeseen hyvin. Nämä eivät ole ongelmia, kun niistä tietää etukäteen ja osaa varautua. Tämä oli meille erittäin hyvä yhden yön hotelli ennen risteilyä. Sijainti on loistava, ranta on lähellä, samoin 24/7 kauppa, kahviloita ja iltaelämään La Placita-alue kävelymatkan päässä.

Lakanat olivat hieman tahraiset, samoin päiväpeitteet. Ne olisi hyvä vaihtaa uusiin.

It was a beautiful older hotel with great personality. I loved it. Beautiful courtyards, very clean, way bigger than it looks from the outside. It was my favorite place we stayed in. I would stay there again.

Atmosphere and service

La atención del señor de recepción, muy amable, estaba pendiente de todo en relación a la habitación y la estancia. La zona es bien bonita, múltiples restaurantes y un supermercado 24 horas justo cruzando la calle. El lugar estaba limpio y en buen estado. Precio muy asequible en relación a otros hoteles dela zona.

El personal super amable y ayudaron mucho en darnos la información para poder movernos por el área. El lugar cómodo y en buena ubicación cerca de muchos puntos de interés. El lugar esta en un sitio seguro con buena iluminación y seguridad en los alrededores.

Es un hotel con mucha historia, ubicado en el corazón de San Juan: cómodo, económico, limpio, tranquilo y rodeado de área residencial/ comercial. Si tiene oportunidad deben conocer a su propietario, Don Cristobal hombre educado, inteligente con quién da gusto hablar.

Cobro mayor al de la reserva …no se porque cobraron 405 dólares

Localization y trato amable por don Cristibal

Hotel extremadamente antiguo sin actualizar, camas, matress, sábanas super deterioradas y un olor a humedad dificil. Baños con cerraduras super deterioradas corroidas expedía mal olor de los desagues, lavamano manchado de manchas del pasar de los años, igual el inodoro, el aire acondicionado no tenía la capacidad de enfriamiento para el tamaño del mismo. En fin éste hotel no debería ser puesto para reservas. Debería ser restaurado en su totalidad. Hice check out un dia antes y aunque indiqué fué por razones personales ya que don Cristobal fué muy amable y no deseaba hacerlo sentir mal, la realidad es que mi prima y yo no dormimos bien y no nos sentimos comfortable en el mismo por el estado en que se encuentra el hotel y no necesariamente por limpieza, si no por deterioro general de las facilidades. Perdí una cantidad de $ por una de las noche que no use, por no hacer sentir mal a Don Cristobal quien nos recibió con mucha amabilidad. Lamentablemente recomendaría el uso de éste hotel a nadie😟

La sala de estar tranquilo. Es un hotel antiguo y muy tranquilo y accesible a todo.

Bathroom could use an update. There were some ants and the A/C was noisy.

The location was good. The room had TV and the hot water was amazing.

The room is very small. The bed was small, my husband and I barely fit. The bed was hard and a bit uncomfortable. We stayed there just to shower, take a nap and leave to catch our flight. So it was no big deal. We however, felt we were in Cuba. The A/C sounded like it was about to fall out the wall as it was very loud. We were in the room for about 3 hours and the temperature in the room went from 81 to 78 degrees F. Property didn't have an elevator, no fridge and towels were stained with makeup. Not sure if we got that room in specific since we advised that we were only going to be there for a couple of hours instead of the whole night we had paid for.

Room was spacious with the double beds and the beds and pillows were very soft and comfortable.

I didn't like the fact that they had us write down our credit card information on the card, especially with so much credit card fraud. That did not feel safe. I did not feel safe in the area, and electricity went and did not return for the remainder of our stay, so the room was terribly hot. Very flimsy locks on the door that also added to my not feeling safe.

La ubicación es perfecta. Cerca de la placita pero sin estar en mitad de todo el ruido. Cerca de Santurce que es otra zona muy turistica. Y zona muy tranquila y segura.

La cama era incómoda y las almohadas enormes. El aire acondicionado enchufado no dejaba dormir del ruido y apagado no dejaba dormir del calor. La cisterna del water no funcionaba.

Tiene parqueo, el aire acondicionado es de ventana pero funcionaba muy bien. Cómodo y accesible.

Habían muchos mosquitos en las habitacion, sin embargo buena habitación.

The hotel also features a very cool, classy bar and a Spanish restaurant right next door. It’s within walking distance to the beach, and there's a supermarket nearby that stays open until late in the evening.

Es cómodo, cerca del aeropuerto, y el supermercado le queda al lado, y muchas area de comida. Esta en una area asequible a todo, el personal muy amable.

Me gustó mucho la Atención de Cristobal. Nos hizo sentir como en casa y además nos hizo una breve historia del hotel y un tour de cuadros que habían en esta. La verdad es que eso no se da en cualquier lugar y para nosotros fue un lujo.
