Grassland 4 (Townhouse)

The bed was good.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed in in Bloemfontein. To start the complex need some paint. The townhouse is very spacious. No bedlamps in the bedroom. You have to get out of bed to switch on or off the light. Bedroom has a big water damage on the wall. The shower I've never seen something like that. Yon walk out of the shower to adjust the the water. As it is an open shower with no door you have to dry the floor after shower. Heater in lounge doesn't work. Couch in the lounge is broken.

The property is Big and have all you need, it is easy to find

It wasn’t clean, the was dust on the tv stand , behind the tv was never cleaned the was soil caused by ants. The house is full of ants , the cardboard was not cleaned it was dusty. The quilt on the beard had stains

Quietness and me time especially fir my academic work.

Iron and Irojibg board fir my liking are a must have. To have a plug to charge near the bed so that one need not to wake up just to charge a phone.

Mr Edwin was very warm and welcoming. He showed me around just to acquaint me with the place. He communicated well in advance regarding my ETA and my checkout. I liked the cleanliness of the house. Having the heater in the lounge, electric blanket and an extra blanket in the bedroom was a banger in this winter. Let alone, a fleece in the lounge. I could snuggle in it while watching TV. The bathroom is quite spacious, the area is quiet and peaceful. There were utensils, dish cloth and dishwashing soap which was very convenient as it’s a self-catering place. I didn’t find myself stranded with something.

There’s nothing really that I didn’t like about the property. One minor thing is, one need to request to go to the mall but I think Waterfront Mall might be a walking distance for those who don’t mind walking🤣Also maybe a broom and dustpan would do for someone who will stay for more days UNLESS room services is provided when requested then they might not be necessary

I liked that I had an apartment all to myself. Big and spacious. Felt homely. The host was helpful and friendly

The complex is full of students who were bit noisy, but nothing hectic. No aircon and iron available.

I had to wake up early and switch on the gysyer every time before taking a bath. After classes I had to wait to take a bath because I forgot to switch on the gysyer.

Location, the space was good

There was no heater ,the house was very cold and kitchen utensils needs a replacement they are too old

Everything about this place was just outstanding, and I strongly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Bloemfontein for a few days. The owner is just the best, words can't express how great he is.

Conveniently private. Close to shops, bus terminal (tourist centre). Has everything you could need. Clean. Major highlight was the electric blanket! Oh and an even better highlight was transportation to the property and to my drop off location when checking out, an extremely amazing property no lie detected, part of me wanted to stay longer! Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures but best believe the ones displayed on the app are accurate, do not be deceived the apartment is gorgeous!! Actually I loved everything about the apartment.

Limited coffee, tea and sugar sachets. Which was reasonable as it was just start ups, could last you a day or two maybe three if you not much of a hot beverage fan. Just make sure you come with your own extra tea bags, coffee and sugar if you love your hot beverages. But in overall there was really nothing to not like. It was an absolute amazing stay for me! Don’t hesitate to book here! You won’t regret it.

The place was in a secured location and the apartment itself was very clean, very homely and spacious. I loved how it made my stay so comfortable and relaxed.

It was my second time staying here and that already says a lot about the service. I love it so much and I will be coming back for sure. The host and his son are the most friendliest and generous people. The place is beautiful, safe and very convenient considering it is not too far from the malls and the tourism center. Safety: It's a safe gated place. the provision of basic household needs for self-catering made it a home away from home experience. My family's highlight was the shower 🚿

There was no fan or aircon so it was exceptionally hot as we stayed during the heatwave. The neighbours were very noisy on the Friday night drinking and smoking in the car park till 2am

Well looked after, spacious and everything needed was there. I will definitely recommend the place.

The unit is spacious,clean and has most things to make your stay a comfortable one. It feels like home away from home.

There is only one size of pots which is just the big pans and when you are staying for long you will need to use the smaller pots. The bowls are smaller than the standard size that an adult uses so this was a bit of inconvenience. I like using an iron & there is a steamer instead, which was tricky.

Breakfast - Not Applicable. The establishment catered to my needs by offering self-catering facilities. The bathroom facilities included a bar of soap and toothpaste, an extra add-on which is rare at other establishments.

None. Facilities are excellent and very well maintained. The property is exactly as advertised and it caters for the basic needs, such as scourers, dishwashing liquid and all other relevant cleaning materials.

The unit was well priced. It was neat and modern. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was more than sufficient for cooking needs and the host supplied coffee, milk and bottled water. The unit was well set out. The bed had electric blankets which is definitely needed in winter. The host Edwin was extremely friendly and helpful with any request i had.

The unit needs more scatter carpeting especially in winter as it gets extremely cold. There was a little heater supplied which did not warm the unit up. The braai area outside needs to be weeded as the weeds are overtaking the courtyard. The shower floods the bathroom when you shower, and you need to sweep the water back into the shower. The area that the unit is in is not the best, but the property is fully fenced and has controlled gate access so its ok. I did not feel unsafe there at any time. A bedside lamp would also help as getting out of bed to put the light on in winter is not pleasant but not something that would make me not consider staying there.

Great hospitality from Mr. Edwin, the location was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect and close to Athletics Stadium.

Throughly enjoyed my stay at Grassland. The host, Mr. Edwin was courteous and went above and beyond. The amenities are fantastic. The place is well maintained and I loved the cleanliness of the apartment. Definitely great value for money. I highly recommend the place.
