Great location, we can go around the local restaurants or convenience stores with ease. The amenities they provide such as a washing machine and wifi at the property.

Spacious 2br apartment. Had close by shops and amenities. Tucked away in a quieter part of district 1. Front reception was always manned so felt safe. Very comfortable stay.

A bit far out although still considering it's in District 1.

How easy the process was to get there and check in. Cleaning when needed. Easy to contact manager

One of the rooms we booked didnt have dish rack for drying dishes. Curtain didnt block out sunlight in both rooms. Room doesnt have clothing hooks in room to hang reworn clothes or accessories. Stayed for 3 weeks so it would have been easier if theses things were available but overall a great stay

The room we were allocated during our second stay had a very uncomfortable mattress with layers of foam bits and pieces which made it unbearable to sleep on.

Location was really good, in the middle of district 1 and you can walk/bus to anywhere. Really close to Ben than market as well. Could message the staff via WhatsApp to get any issues sorted quickly.

You could only get housekeeping max 2 times a week. Also there was a foreign card fee upon paying which is common in vietnam but I didn't know until I got there.

Beds very poor hard as rocks old and dirty under old mattress. Got shocks off linen, general cleaning very average, lacked basics in kitchen, lounge couch worn, 1 coffee mug 1 glass 1 fry pan no pots no toaster no maintenance aircon leads onto the floor which had delaminated due to prolonged leaks no basic tea coffee essentials broken dining room chairs washing machine hit and miss. Massive apartment block now blocks most views of other apartments.

Terrible experience, dishonest hotel, strongly not recommended. I booked and confirmed this hotel in advance through Booking.com. However, when I arrived, I was suddenly told I could not check in with no reasonable explanation or solution. What’s worse: even though they refused my valid reservation, the same room type was still being sold online at that moment. This is clearly overbooking and dishonest sales behavior. The hotel ignored guests’ rights and caused huge trouble to my trip. Do not book this hotel.

Apartment's size is just nice for 2 persons. The mattress is very comfortable .The air cons worked very well ( important as HCM is super hot) and location is central.

Soundproofing not so great .There was a noisy night when there was noise from nearby continuously through the night .Can hear it as background noise even with all windows closed. Have to bring out garbage to a central collection area near the lift lobby . No housekeeping service ( we stayed 4 nights).

The location is in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, so it’s easy to walk everywhere. However, the surrounding area can be a bit smelly

It was a scam. The property lied to us and wanted to move us to a different location because of plumbing issues. We arrived to the new apartment and there were signs warning people that short term rentals were illegal. Please read google reviews before booking. Photos are outside the new apartment they sent us to.

They were very sneaky. We didn’t get far before we cancelled. It was a pain and a lot of money to have to look for lodging last minute. Do not book and save yourself the headache.

This is a lovely flat, and we could also walk to some of the major attractions. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, plus the tours will pick you up at the front door. It was quiet in the flat, and although there were appliances for cooking, the restaurants were so reasonable that we did not bother. The lady looking after this flat is really nice and dealt with our minor requests immediately.

Nothing we would definitely consider this property again if we came back.

I think a concrete slab would've been more comfortable than the bed. The bed was old and well past it's use by date. Very uncomfortable. After 3 days we hadn't had our room cleaned and had a bag full of rubbish to dispose of. We had no idea where the waste disposal was, so we tied up the bag and took it to the lift area. We thought if we left it in plain sight, the cleaner would pick it up. Instead we got a WhatsApp message saying we had to pay a $1million VND fine because we had not disposed of rubbish correctly. We agreed to pay and did so. There was no receipt provided, despite requesting one. The money was collected from us by 2 women dressed in street clothes. This seemed very suspicious. They showed us a photostat copy of the by-laws, but no receipt for the money we paid. We then used WhatsApp to request a receipt. We were promised they would provide a receipt the next day. This never happened. There were 2 almost empty shampoo and body wash bottles that looked as though they were leftovers from a previous guest, and no washing powder for the washing machine. After day 6 we requested that our room be cleaned and our towels changed (we had washed our towels ourselves) We were told that we had to request this service as they were not a hotel. We will be following up with a Google review.

The location was really good. The balcony give life to the apartment.

The bed is really hard for sleep and the TV you can’t move so you only can watch from the sofa and the sofa is very small for two.

the elevator is fast and clean

the place is old not what shown in the picture, not painted, the shower is old, the sink is dirty. The room without side table, the tv program is to be paid to access, the dust in the furnitures. Not clean. We got only one piece of shower carpet in 4 nights stay…we are not monitored if everything is ok… if you pay with card they added 3% that is not stated during reservation.. not worth the price for its place of stay.. the living room seems never cleaned the sofa for months, its dusty

Căn hộ có đủ đồ dùng nhưng chủ nhà không đầu tư một cách tận tâm. Mọi thứ rất tạm bợ. Góp ý này hy vọng chủ nhà ghi nhận một cách tích cực để cải thiện. Chỉ cần hành động nhỏ thôi sẽ giúp trải nghiệm của khách tốt hơn rất nhiều: - Đồ dùng từ ấm đun nước nóng cũng dùng loại inox rẻ tiền và thiếu an toàn. - Không có đèn ngủ hoặc công tắc đầu giường nên mỗi lần tắt đèn đi ngủ phải mò trong bóng tối. - Mùi cống thoát nước xộc lên rất hôi thối. - Khăn tắm dùng loại rất cũ, cũ tới mức đổi màu và xơ vải cứng đơ - Kệ để bát cũng không có mà để tịt xuống tủ bếp trông mất vệ sinh

Not much. We cancelled the booking after 1 hour of arriving.

Not very clean. Terrible stench of chlorox/bleach. Had to wait 30 minutes for someone to show up and give us the key. Tiny balcony overlooks a construction site.

The location was quite good, close to the city yet had a quiet neighbourhood.

The apartment looked nothing like the pictures in the ad. The microwave oven was smelling and wasn't plugged in. Had to move it to a different place because the socket was operational. The property manager stopped us on the way out twice demanding for the payment right away. Once, they even kept knocking on the door when I was trying calm my baby. Very annoying. When I was finally adding the account details for bank transfer, I got resistance that they didn't want account transfer but only cash, which I couldn't manage with the baby around. Only stayed around because the bed was really comfortable.

It was ok - had all the basics like bed and kitchen, good location for tourism activities and close to shops / restaurants. Host was responsive when we needed contact.

It didn’t look like the pictures, the bed wasn’t super comfortable, and don’t love wet bathrooms. This isn’t a hotel, it’s an apartment, so no on-site staff to help with anything. Felt expensive compared to the other places we stayed in HCMC.

Staffs, once they received payment, promised to send me a payment receipt but never happened, stay there 4 nights , no body provided cleaned room, used the same bath towel in 4 days. Even bumped into the agent name Oanh in hotel lobby, she acted like stranger to us.

Wir mussten sehr kurzfristig innerhalb von 30 Minuten eine neue Unterkunft finden und haben die Gastgeber angeschrieben. Bereits nach 5 Minuten kam die Zusage, und nur 25 Minuten später konnten wir schon im Apartment einchecken. Das war für uns wirklich außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit und flexibel. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde das Apartment noch frisch gereinigt und war anschließend absolut tipptopp sauber. Die Kommunikation war durchgehend schnell, freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Gastgeber sind extrem zuvorkommend und lösungsorientiert – wir haben uns sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Soho Apartment. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. The price was reasonable, and Ms. Bơ was wonderful. She went above and beyond whenever we made requests and was very accommodating with our schedule.

Yet another scam hotel. They let you book a room based on fake pictures and descriptions only to check you into a completely different room. Over the years, this has happened to me many times in District 1 of Saigon. You can only hope it will be a legitimate company not trying to rip off tourists. Unfortunately Smile SOHO apart/hotel is not an exception. When I arrived I was taken to a completely different kind of room. The room wasn’t even cleaned yet. I was told that I’d have to wait 2 hours for housekeeping to finish. Also, I was told I’d have to move to a different room the next day. I attempted to compromise and suggested I just stay in the current room I’m in, so I don’t have to move. They wouldn’t do it. I was given a choice, either be a sucker tourist and accept the scammy manipulation or cancel the reservation. I walked away, I found another hotel. Suffice it to say this happened again in the next hotel, then again… until I had enough and took a room at another hotel that did the same exact thing. But, this new hotel would bargain and I got a better deal. The dishonesty of these types of scam hotels is staggering and in retrospect pathetically and absurdly humorous. The staff in hotels like this will lie straight to your face as easily as it is to breathe. Don’t get me wrong there are gems in District 1. So, if you find one count yourself lucky. My recommendation, walk away from this hotel. In fact , don’t bother booking here. You’ll be glad you did Happy travels! Don’t be a sucker 😂

יש נמלים קטנות שורצות שם בכל מקום לא מנקים לא מחליפים מגבות רק אחרי שביקשתי אין עם מי לדבר יש רק איש ביטחון בקבלה יש עוד בחור שיוצר איתך קשר דרך הוואטסאפ וזהו ביקשתי מרפסת קיבלתי איזה כוך לא סיימתי שם את השהות פשוט החלפתי מלון וזהו

Location was pretty good, plenty of shops and markets around. Washing machine available. Reasonably spacious. Easy taxi pick up location. Hot water was good and good toilet flush.

Bathroom was a bit small (needed some more counter space) since it was a space for 4 people. One of the beds had a big dip in the middle but other room was comfortable.
