This place was cozy and cute, but also surprisingly spacious. Location is fantastic, in between the Old and French Quarters, but in a quieter part. Communication via WhatsApp was great. Laundry is a nice bonus after hot days in Hanoi.

Water can be a bit loud, nothing ear plugs can't fix.

The facilities were excellent. Nothing was lacking, except perhaps for a wider selection of 3-in-1 coffees. It was very clean, and the owner was very friendly.

The water pump was very loud when using the water and toilet.

Rien. Tout était parfait vu la disponibilité des propriétaires. A la moindre question, ils répondent rapidement et sont arrangeants. Nous avons pu laisser nos sacs pour la dernière journée dans le logement, avec leur accord. Merci encore

Location, good rate, easy to find where it is.

We can’t turn hot water to get shower. It could get fixed easily , we don’t mind due to only one night stay. but neighbors ‘ argument really annoyed at night time.

Très bien organisé tout est prévu du nécessaire de couture au fer à repasserLa machine à laver a été appréciée et la laverie juste à côté pour le sèche linge L’appartement est très sombre nécessitant d’être éclairé tout le temps mais ce n’est pas gênant car on l’occupe peu dans la journée

Mieszkanie wymaga już odświeżenia, ale widać, że ktoś się mocno stara aby było czysto i komfortowo.

Удобное местоположение и потрясающая коммуникация с хозяином! Все рассказал и показал, был очень милый.

Bonus was the washing machine, and felt like you staying at a mates place, slightly hard to find down alley but all in all great value.

L'emplacement central à deux pas du vieux quartier, tout près du lac Hoan Kiem. Loger dans un appartement que j'imagine facilement habité par des Vietnamiens m'a permis de" vivre de l'intérieur" ces quelques jours à Hanoi.

Meilleure fermeture du point de passage d'un tuyau au mur qui laisse passer la lumière mais c'est un détail. Le plus pénible était le ronflement et non pas ronronnement du réfrigérateur dans la pièce de vie empêchant de dormir, personnes au sommeil fragile attention. Le propriétaire a été très réactif, changeant l'appareil dans la matinée.

The hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful. There was a power cut on the street when we arrived, and they were kind enough to drive over and check if there was anything they could do to help. We were so grateful! The room is typical of the old quarter and within walking distance of everything. The hot water was reliable and the WiFi was super strong (we did some online work while we were there, and had no issues).

Like most old quarter buildings, the apartment was damp and musky, but opening the window for some ventilation was a quick fix. If you're wanting to experience the old quarter, it's perfect for a short-term stay.

When using the toilet there is a strange sound, it is not that bad

Where to start. From the moment we stepped off the plane late at night our host was already taking care of us. He had sent us the most detailed instructions with pictures on how to take inexpensive transportation to arrive at the apartment. The location of the apartment itself is perfect. Toward the end of a narrow alley way which removes you from the noise of the busy city street that runs by it. The apartment itself is very cozy and comfortable. From the paintings on the walls which his daughter had done, to the comfortable sofa and bed and the clean bathroom with plenty of hot water for showers, everything was great. It seemed that there was absolutely nothing that the host didn’t think of to make us feel right at home. Though we never got to meet our host, if we had a concern or question it seemed his response was sent instantaneously! Many thanks to him for making our stay in Hanoi so nice.

It was very cold during the night, and the air conditioner was not working properly. The water system was making a noise during the night. Pictures are quite photoshopped and not representing the real place

Excellent location. Excellent host. The place is equipped with all you may need , including basic cutlery ,wasching machine etc.

Every time you use water (shower, tap, toilet) a water pump kicks off, making quite a nose. It is particularly unpleasant at night.

The washing machine was so handy, the space was perfect and had lots of little thoughtful extras, bed was comfy and location was in such a nice area. We met Phuong the owner and she was so lovely. Had some trouble with the self- check in during the night and Phuong answered my call during the night to help! Perfect accommodation to see Hanoi from- would have stayed longer.

A good few ants around the place but it’s an old building and they didn’t bother us.

- great location - city center and yet secluded (no noise from the streets) - easy-going and friendly owners - very good price - spacious - clean - the washing machine was broken, so the owners did our laundry at their place and brought it back all dry the next day

there was some mechanical noise coming from various sources (fridge, water booster) but worst of them all was a loud sound coming from one of the neighbors that was alternately pulsating and constant, as if some sort of pump or machine was malfunctioning; this happened a few times every morning, starting at around 5, each time lasting from a few minutes up to over an hour

This is the best place to stay in Hanoi. It’s very much closer to everything, walking distance to ho kiem lake area. More than anything the place got everything you need. Even a washer dryer if you are a light traveler. The owner is super attentive and always helps you make your stay comfortable. It’s a cozy place where you can even work during your stay.

Our host was really helpful, sharing excellent directions in how to get the bus from the airport to the property.

Everything as advertised: cozy apartment, fast internet, great amenities. It was nice to enjoy the feeling of our own little space after staying in ho(s)tels. Internet was indeed working very well, we used the washer without any issue. Location is also great, just a street away from the hustle and bustle, but on a more semi-relax street. Communicating with the host was seamless, instructions very precise. Recommending!

Mattress was a bit hard, but that's a minor (and a preference). Make sure to bring your clothesline as well to hand your clothes after using the washer.

Very cosy, clean and cool (I was there during a hot season). The owner/management was very kind, generous and flexible. It's a great location and pretty quiet. Highly recommended!

What a great find. To be immersed in the 'local experience' living amongst the locals and being so close to everything was fantastic. The owners are such lovely people, answering questions very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Wifi was fantastic, never missed a beat and even though the apartment is near a busy road you did not hear it at all. I would definitely stay here again if I am back in Hanoi.

Location is perfect, only a few minutes from the Old Quarter. I had some trouble with the door lock, because it is electric one (which make me feel very safe!) But the owner was so helpful to solve any problem very quickly so nothing complained.

This is a ground floor room in the courtyard of a classic house, there is only one double bed and a couch, but you can't sleep on it.

The location is great, the owners are great, solved all problems that arise, thank you, internet is good.

Location was wonderful, in the heart of Old Quarter, but off main street so surprisingly quiet. Was lovely to be able to wash our clothes after a week of travel. Simple check in and out which enabled us to arrive late and leave early. Host had great communication. Safe and secure, security cameras outside and gate to close of the ally it’s located in.

I like a nice soft bed, this one was quiet hard, but the couch was lovely and soft so I slept on that which was fine.
