My Son Boutique Hotel & Spa Hoi An

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our 10-night stay. Whenever we needed anything, they listened and did their best to help. The housekeeping staff also did a great job. The beds were a little too firm for us, but they provided an extra mattress, which made a world of difference. We would also like to thank Thuy, Vu, Nguyet, Kathy and Phong for their kindness and service. However, our biggest compliment goes to Levi in the restaurant. She was absolutely wonderful – genuinely warm, attentive and always seemed to notice what we needed before we even had to ask. She made us feel very welcome and was one of the people we will remember from our stay. She truly deserves special recognition. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We found it a little uncomfortable that several members of staff, from reception to the restaurant, repeatedly offered to connect us with people who could make clothes. We understand this is common in Hoi An, but as guests it can feel a little too sales-focused. We also booked the hotel transfer from the train station, and despite paying considerably more than a Grab, the driver asked us via Google Translate for money to buy food because he was hungry, which made for an awkward start. The pool area was also extremely slippery when wet, which was particularly concerning for us with two small children. Breakfast was good overall, although after several days some of the cold cuts no longer looked very fresh and could probably have been replaced a little sooner. There was, however, always plenty of other food to choose from.

The staff are so accommodating with every request and recommendation, the spa personnel are also very friendly and professional. The breakfast is especially good and varied.

Das Zimmer war gross, sauber und hatte einen kleinen Balkon. Die Badetücher wurden täglich gewechselt, die Betten täglich gemacht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war okay. Das Hotelpersonal (viele Grüße an Hailey und Mrs. Lotus) war sehr lieb, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und jederzeit für einen da. Der Pool war relativ groß und es gab genügend Liegen mit immer frischen Badetüchern. Man konnte sich kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen.

Die extrem hohen Temperaturen und die extrem hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Aber da kann das Hotel ja nichts dafür! 😊

Would have marked a 9, perhaps a 10, but the hotel has a big problem. Across the road from the entrance is a small businessman with several dogs, one of which barks continuously virtually all night and every night. The Myson is aware of the issue since guests have complained before. The animal is a serious pest and something needs to be done. You should not have to wear earplugs to get a decent nights sleep in a hotel of this quality.

Wonderful staff, great location with views of the rice fields. Room was clean, lots of options for the breakfast buffet.

Walls in the hotel are extremely thin and not noise proof. Could hear other guests and people outside all night. Bed is very hard.

The major reason to come back to this hotel is the level of service and how caring and attentive the staff was. A special thanks to Hailey for all of the tips and recommendations. I had a lovely room with a view on the rice fields. Great blackout curtains. The food set menu as well as the New Year menu were amazing! The location is a bit further away from the old town, more quiet, perfect walking distance with many cafes and spas close by. I did Thai massage in the hotel twice. It was very good.

Sound isolation in the rooms is not great. But I should have asked for room change, I'm sure staff would have accommodated for it.

You can rent bicycles and everything is within reach by bicycle. Greatly recommend!

The hotel room was well equipped with desk and 2 lounge chairs. The large bed was comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast included both Asian and European options and was tasty and looked forward to each day. The motel is a street back from the rice fields and our room overlooked them which gave a pleasant vista. Ample poolside chairs and towels were supplied. We appreciated the new bikes which made it easy to get around.

We enjoyed our stay at My Son. The balcony would have been better if it had chairs but both doors opened out which allowed fresh air. The location was close enough to ride to the old town and a short walk to several good restaurants and cafes but may not suit everyone. No fault of the hotel but barking dogs across the street work us several times during our stay.

Only in the shower, water wasn't go well down, so I had a bit to much water on the floor.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The rooms were lovely and the pool was absolutely fabulous. The staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly Hailey in reception. We arrived early in the morning off a flight and the staff prepared our room a few hours early and also allowed us to use the pool while we waited.

I had a wonderful stay at My Son Boutique Hotel in Hoi An. It is very nicely located, close to the city centre (all within walking distance) and yet quiet, I slept really well. The rooms are very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. There is a pool which is a great place to relax after a long day. A big plus was the friendly staff who did everything to make their guests feel comfortable, both at the reception and in the restaurant. I spontaneously got a breakfast box when I was picked up early for the excursion, as well as extra vegetarian dishes for the breakfast buffet. Thank you for a wonderful stay (definitely one of my favourite places in Vietnam), I would love to come back.

My stay at My Son Boutique Hotel and Spa was absolutely fantastic! I booked for two nights but ended up extending my stay for an extra night because I was so impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel's central location on a quiet street was perfect, and being fairly new, it boasted modern amenities and excellent facilities. I particularly enjoyed cooling off in the amazing outdoor pool, especially when the breeze was blowing. The breakfast spread was delicious, and I appreciated the variety offered. What really stood out to me was how the hotel went above and beyond to facilitate my needs, from arranging a scooter for me to taking care of all logistics. The complimentary scheduled shuttle rides to the old town and the free bicycle provided by the hotel were added bonuses that made exploring the area even more convenient. Overall, I highly recommend My Son Boutique Hotel and Spa to anyone looking for a top-notch stay with exceptional service and amenities.

Newly finished hotel. Very clean. 20 min walk from Old Town or use the free shuttle. Very friendly, attentive staff. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Great views over the paddy fields. Swimming pool is a bonus.

We loved the location, the staff and the facilities . Linnsie and Ivy were exceptional and extremely attentive, as were the staff at breakfast each morning. We enjoyed this stay, it was better than our 5 star resort the week before.

I don't think there was much to dislike. We could hear the chairs from the dining/breakfast room downstairs because we were on a low level, if that will bother you choose a higher floor room. There's also a friendly rooster that starts at early dawn, that's common in Vietnam. If that will bother you, bring earplugs. :) Just as tips for other travellers.

I booked this place due to excellent reviews, but I wish I had stayed a bit closer to the Old Town. There were no stores nearby where I could get snacks or drinks from. Some of the streets leading to the hotel is still unpaved. Not much of a view from hotel

The staff - they were all wonderful. They treated our baby son like he was their own family and our every need was seen to. The room was big, bed comfy and shower powerful. The view over the fields out the back was beautiful. We loved our stay here.

Nice location out of the centre of Hoi An, but close enough to stroll into the old town. Also next to the rice paddies which were lovely to cycle through. The bicycles were free to borrow and it was only 10/15 mins to the beach. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. They even packed us off with a breakfast bag for our early flight :)

We had an excellent stay at the My Son Boutique Hotel & Spa. We really appreciated the location, which is about 15 minutes' walk from the old quarter of Hoi An, yet quiet. The room was pleasant, clean and spacious. We also really enjoyed the treatments we received at the spa (massage and facial), which were excellent. All the staff were wonderful and welcoming. Special thanks to Ivy and her receptionist colleague, Simon, Lisa and her Spa colleague for their helpfulness and kindness. We're looking forward to coming back !

Excellent Linnsie and snow were so hospitable !! Very helpful and so so lovely .. the hotel was beautiful. Food was ok .. great location, about 30 minute walk to the Old Quarter. The hotel area was very quiet. The pool amazing .. I would recommend this place for sure
