Our suite was perfect & had everything we needed. 2 bottles of water in the fridge were very welcome after our walk from the train station

Bed was maybe a bit too soft. That is just personal preference. If I was staying for more than a few nights this would have been an issue.

AJ is a fantastic host! We were going to Stratford to see two shows. AJ anticipated that the first show was a matinee by our check-in time and offered us an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. He also emailed a week before our arrival advising us to book restaurants because they fill up quickly. The location of the B&B is perfect. We left our car in the driveway, and easily walked to all theatres and restaurants. The breakfast was scrumptious. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. We would definitely stay at North of Avon when visiting Stratford, and would encourage family and friends to stay there as well!

AJ was an excellent host. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location couldn't be better since it is a short walk to the Patterson Theatre, the parks along the river, and to shops and restaurants. We happened to be there during a heat wave so the AC was much appreciated.

A very good breakfast, well prepared and presented by A.J, and that was fresh, appetizing and plentiful. Room was extremely clean and welcoming with a comfortable bed and pillows and all amenities that one could expect, including in the bathroom, the kitchenette and den. Pictures on the wall reflected the theme of the name of the room ( we were in the Swan Room), well chosen and appropriate. Property within walking distance of Stratford theatres, close to the river and in a quiet neighbourhood but not far from the downtown core. A.J. was a personable host, pleasant to talk to and hands-on in the running of the property.

Location was great; was quiet and very clean. We felt very safe and comfortable. We never stayed in a B&B before - would definitely go back to this one.

Super convenient location, a short walk to downtown, restaurants and theatres. Our suite was spacious, clean and quiet. A lovely (and generous) breakfast was provided each morning by A.J, who took into consideration any dietary needs (we didn't have any). He provided all the information needed before arrival to the B&B and offered restaurant recommendations which were appreciated! We hope to come back again in the future.

Breakfast was varied and made to order if you had diet restrictions. It was always delicious. AJ was there to answer questions and give helpful hints about the area, the history, the plays. The location was perfect….walking distance to all the theaters and the town. Room was very spacious, clean and comfy.

Had an absolutely fabulous stay at North of Avon B&B Suites! A.J. is an unparalleled host, who puts his guests’ comfort first and foremost. He graciously accommodated a last-minute request on my part the morning of our arrival that greatly enhanced the quality of my rest during our four-night stay (thank you, again, A.J.!). The B&B is in an ideal location for attending the Stratford Festival; on a quiet residential street, yet in easy walking distance of all theatres and numerous fine restaurants. Beds and furnishings were all high-end and very comfortable, and the kitchenette is well-equipped with dinnerware and glassware making ordering-in an option to dining out. Additionally, A.J. has a culinary background and his breakfasts are not to be missed, with each morning offering up a new and delightful surprise (his baked goods are heavenly!). My husband and I very much enjoyed conversing with fellow guests and sharing our theatre experiences. We will return!

AJ was an exceptional host, extremely friendly and recommended many great places for us to visit during our Stratford stay. The room was comfortable and big, equipped with everything we needed and then some, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. Had a wonderful time, loved talking with the others guests over breakfast as well.

Satisfactory breakfast of waffles and sausage. Could have had other options but probably streamlined for just a few guests. I guess I expected a more robust breakfast in such a classy place. A J was a great host.

Couldn't get our room a comfortable temperature. Too cool. Also our trip was upset by automobile theft in Stratford likely prior to arrival at this B & B.Car was locked while parked in downtown location., and only for a short time .No sign of forced entry.Personal clothing taken. Go figure.

We were happy to return to North of Avon after an excellent previous stay. And once again, we had a lovely time. Our host, A.J., is very helpful and welcoming. The suite includes a livingroom/kitchen with all the amenities. We were very comfortable and enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the dining room. We attended two plays at the Stratford Festival theatre and enjoyed talking to other guests over breakfast about the performances we had seen, sharing our experiences and making new friends. We'll be back!!

AJ was such a pleasant and friendly person. The house is beautifully decorated. We requested a room with 2 beds. Suite 3 was very spacious with a full bath, comfortable beds and a sitting area. So quiet for sleeping. Of course the location is perfect, a lovely walk along the river to the theatre area and Stratford historic centre.

The property was easy to get to. It was a 10 minute walk to the Avon Theatre and a 20 minute walk to the Festival Theatre. A.J. was knowledgeable about the plays and cooked a great breakfast. Highly recommend.

You can't beat the location, walking distance to the theaters and Ontario St. Our suite was very clean and had everything we needed, including delicous snacks and water. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed on the third floor. While the room was large, clean and very lovely - the steep climb to get to this room is a difficult one for seniors. I would like to return and perhaps stay in one of the other rooms.

Wonderful host. Suite is larger and better equipped than expected. Terrific king sized bed Delicious home made breakfast. Beautiful grounds. Huge porch for comfortable sitting. Great value for money.

This is a great BNB. The rooms are clean, spacious, and really comfortable. Great pop art on the walls in our suite. AJ makes great breakfasts with homemade preserves, salsas, baked goods, fritatas etc. Air conditioning worked well in 33 degree heat. Walking distance to the downtown in only 5 minutes (just over the bridge). The other guests were all theatre lovers. Exceeded our expectations.

A place as wonderful as it looks on paper. Comfortable, clean, spacious lodgings; delicious breakfasts; an incredibly friendly and responsive host; a quiet location within walking distance of downtown... ...I could go on. But suffice it to say, we know where we'll be staying next time we visit Stratford!

Nothing, everything was great.

A.J. welcomed me and made me feel right at home. My room was on the main floor which I liked as I didn't need to climb stairs and carry my luggage. It also had a kitchen and sitting room. The home was well designed with beautiful art work and comfortable furniture. Breakfast was excellent with a veggie frittata and warm muffins and de-cafe coffee.

A full course served breakfast and something for everyone. Lovely ambiance and the rooms are updated and most importantly.....great bed (not sagging )

Very close to downtown and several theatres. Delicious breakfast! Snacks in the room! A.J. was very kind, and do knowledgeable about what to do in Stratford. I really appreciated the recommendations, both in person, and in the guidebook in the room.

The location was very good and central. The size, components and facilities of the room/suite were excellent.

The breakfast was very plain. Written communications (through a text message) should be more careful to address the client through his correct name.

Very welcoming reception. AJ and his family are friendly hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the town and the Festival. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is perfect, away from the busy centre but within then minutes walk of the Patterson Theatre.

I wish the outside seating on the patio was not right outside the window; I was startled and embarrassed to find other guests there.

This BnB is truly a hidden gem in Stratford! It is located in a perfect spot, within walking distance to everywhere. The BnB itself is wonderful; the interior is full of Stratford's history.
