De accommodatie is ongelooflijk idyllisch en mooi, maar het personeel is minstens even fantastisch. Ze doen er alles aan om je verblijf tot een droom te maken en dat is zeker gelukt. We zouden hier heel graag nog eens terugkeren!

Het is een prachtige plek beheerd door een super gastvrij team. We hebben er erg thuis gevoeld. Super lekker eten super bijzondere plek. De game drive was erg leuk en ze hebben veel bijzondere dieren. We raden het iedereen aan! Dank Janke en team!

Die Lodge liegt idyllisch an einem kleinen See mit Blick auf den Hügel, wo man abends die Baboons beobachten kann. Auf dem Gelände ist alles sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Zelt ist fast neu, geschmackvoll und komfortabel ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Unsere selbst gefangenen Fische aus dem See wurden am Abend für uns frisch zubereitet. Janka und ihr Vater Peter sind wunderbare Gastgeber und haben für eine familiäre Atmosphäre gesorgt. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hat Peter Ausflüge organisiert und uns durch den Krüger NP geführt. Sein Wissen über die Tiere und Natur ist beeindruckend. Am Lagerfeuer hatten wir viele nette Gespräche und haben hilfreiche Tipps bekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Gate zur Timbila Lodge ist direkt an der R40 und nicht zu verfehlen. Der Weg zur Lodge ist perfekt ausgeschildert. Timbila ist eine aussergewöhnliche Anlage mitten in der Natur und perfekt in die Landschaft integriert. Die Unterkünfte sind neuwertig, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber Janke und Peter sind herzliche und offene Menschen. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Game Drives in die umliegenden Resorts und in den Krüger Nationalpark.

A lovely spot. Real bush atmosphere and sounds. Beautiful chalets and tents, with real colonial decor and touches. Very personal service and friendly staff. Nice food, snacks and a honesty bar. Main feature is the pearl rockpool. Next to a dam and a rocky hill, where the baboons play. Real gem.

Janke (Host) ist super nett, auch die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die einzelnen Apartments sind sehr schön und modern. Das Abendessen war super. Janke hat uns sogar mit auf die Fahrt über die Farm mitgenommen und uns viel erklärt zu den darin befindlichen Tieren. Unvergessliche Erinnerung. Wifi ist nicht überall stabil, aber dafür kann man super relaxen.

There’s no reception at the lodge which really enables you to spend quality time with your loved one. No distractions and you can easily reconnect with nature. There’s absolutely no need to drive out for anything. All meals were prepared for us during our stay.

Tout était super. L’accueil, le soin, les bons conseils, les dîners étaient délicieux. Tout le monde était sympathique. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour.

Very nice place with super friendly staff. Peter the owner was a perfect host, wit a lot of recommendations what to do at our next stops.

The setting was extraordinary. Stayed in one of the tents which was really nice.

Atendimento personalizado, Peter participou e interagiu em todas as atividades, um excelente anfitrião. Uma pequena reserva particular onde pudemos avistar todos os animais disponíveis (Bufalo, Zebra, Girafa, Kudu, Impala, Timbila....). Como diferencial monta um roteiro personalizado para cada cliente.

Janke, Peter, Titi and all the staff received us as a family! we felt so welcomed and taken cared of! As i told them at the end, i have no words to describe and thank what we lived there with them!! it was far beyond my expectations!! i highly recommend to anyone who wants to have real connection and experience!!

Staying here was such a special experience. Everything went beyond our expectation. Both Janka and Peter are the best, it didn't feel like just being a guest, but being a part of a local family which makes me feel like home. They always ready to help with anything we needed in every situation. We gained so many valuable insights, they are true experts in the area and wildlife. I would like to also thank the ladies and other staffs for the delicious traditional food and the warmest care. Highly recommend for anyone who wants more than just accommodation, but a real connection and a stay that will be one of your best core memories. Will definitely return! They truly deserve more recognition for their hospitality.

Absolutely incredible! We enjoyed every single minute to the fullest. Our hosts, Peter and his daughter, were unbelievably kind and helpful – nothing was ever a problem! The accommodation is brand new, modern, well-maintained, and spotless. The entire property is clean and beautifully kept. The ladies in the kitchen were an absolute dream – I felt like a princess! The food and service were fantastic. But the best part was the evening conversations around the campfire – truly unforgettable. I was genuinely sad to leave the lodge. Thank you for everything and for these wonderful days! We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

The place is absolutely stunning and very tranquil, the staff are hands on and very attentive tinyiko, patience and another lady who cleaned our room were so welcoming and friendly. Janke our host was available at all times when we needed anything from her despite her not feeling well she went an extra mile to ensure our stay was great! Truly appreciate that.. It was my wifes birthday on the 15th of April and they really made sure that she enjoys it. Facilities were great especially if you're looking for a relaxing experience this place is exactly that.

From the moment we arrived, the owners welcomed us with open arms, making us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the experience. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Waking up to the breathtaking views was a highlight—nature at its finest! Highly recommended!

The Google Maps directions were incorrect, which made it a bit tricky to find the lodge. But the owner sent us a direct location of the entrance gate
