The One Hostel & Rooftop Bar Catba

Это лучший хостел, в котором я останавливалась, очень комфортно до мелочей, чисто, убираются каждый день, меняют полотенца каждый день, даже водичку по бутылочке в день ставят. Персонал очень отзывчивый, всегда готовы помочь, всегда улыбаются. Местоположение отличное, все рядом. В общем однозначно рекомендую.

the location and amenities were okay. bathroom and hairdryer were the best bit. although despite being in a dorm, i did not get any roommates throughout my stay. it’s both a pro and a con tbh.

the rooftop bar was mostly closed and no staff was there, no opportunities to socialize as well. place was full of big groups of local tourists/company probably in an outing. lobby was loud all the time. breakfast was just okay.

Had a fantastic stay at The One Hostel Hanoi! The staff were absolutely amazing, a special shout out to Ha, who was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us great local recommendations. The location is perfect, really close to the beautiful beaches and surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room was great, the beds were very comfy, big locker and curtains give you privacy. Would really recommend this place to anyone!

La posizione centrale

Camera buia, c è una finestra ma da su un muro. Arredi datati. Camera non insonorizzata. Eravamo all'ultimo piano e fino alle 4 non abbiamo dormito a causa della musica altissima sul rooftop e tanti schiamazzi per i corridoi. Abbiamo richiesto uno spostamento. Ci hanno messo al 5o piano e andava un po' meglio. Colazione poco varia.

La gente del hotel es encantadora! Súper amables todo el mundo, tanto en recepción como los chicos que estaban por hotel, te ayudan siempre en todo lo que necesitas. El desayuno súper y las camas muy cómodas. Si volvería a Cat ba me alojaría allí sin duda!

Me gustó todo pero si tengo que destacar algo menos positivo sería que Tienen una terraza preciosa arriba pero siempre está la música súper fuerte, así que lo único negativo a destacar es esto. Pero bueno, si les pides que la bajen un poco seguro la bajan sin problemas.

Barato, espacioso, limpio, las escaleras de las cuchetas son muy prácticas (gracias por ese detalle), los lockers son súper grandes y con llave. Te dan toallas y puedes cambiarlas cuando quieras, el personal es muy amable sobre todo el chico de la recepción. Siempre atento y con una sonrisa. Hay happy hour de birra de 8-9pm 🙌🏽

El rooftop abre a las 4pm lo cual no entiendo porque es un lugar muy agradable, y así se podría usar el jacuzzi de día también cuando hace más calor. Un baño por habitación se puede hacer complicado si la habitación está llena. Solo siendo 2, teníamos que esperar al otro a que salga. Eso puede ser incómodo. Reciben niños y eso hace que deje de ser un poco “backpacker” ya que puede hacer mucho ruido en las mañanas etc y tampoco me parece cómodo.

Всё понравилось, красивые чистые номера, полотенца можно менять каждый день, есть услуги стирки за 50к/кг. Дают воду по бутылке на человека ежедневно, есть прекрасный буфет на завтрак. Ребята с ресепшена откликаются на любые просьбы и делают всё быстро без напоминания. Отдельное спасибо за скидку (решили остаться на день дольше, чем планировали). Помогают с турами по бухте и пр. Очень понравился вечерний тур со светящимся планктоном. Шума из центра не было слышно. Но номер с балконом выходит на центральную площадь, даже видно фонтаны. До нового центрального пляжа 5 минут, до пляжа Катко 1,2 минут 10-15 пешком. Рядом много кафе с едой и напитками. В отеле есть бар с джакузи на верхнем этаже. Рекомендую, однозначно приедем ещё.

Die Lage war sehr gut, das Frauenzimmer war sehr sauber und man hatte direkt im Zimmer das Badezimmer. Die Rooftop Bar war sehr schön und es gab jeden Abend Freibier, wodurch es jeden Abend sozial war :) Das Hostel war groß und geräumig und zu empfehlen Frühstück war ein Buffet, also auch hier die jeden was dabei

Der Wäscheservice war relativ teuer und wirklich schlecht.. meine Wäsche man nur halb gewaschen zurück, einige Dinge musste ich per Hand nochmal neu waschen und vor allem: die Wäsche hat suupeer gestunken, das war wirklich schade!

Tất cả điều tốt đẹp, phòng nghỉ sạch sẽ, đầy đủ tiện nghi, vị trí ngay ở trung tâm, đi bộ ra bãi tắm chỉ 5 phút. Bữa sáng buffet đa dạng và ngon. Các bạn lễ tân hỗ trợ hết lòng, đáp ứng mọi nhu cầu, giúp đăng ký tour, nhiệt tình lắm, đặc biệt là bạn Thu. Rất hài lòng và lần sau nhất định sẽ qua lại. Cảm ơn The One Hostel!

Amazing stay! Rooms are comfortable, the jacuzzi on the roof is great and the staff was spectacular, especially Bi from the reception and Manh from the bar who became good friends!

Lage war Top und das man ein Armband bekommt mit dem man das Zimmer und den Spint öffnen kann ist sehr praktisch. Zimmer war sauber, Betten bequem und das Hostel wirkt generell recht neu. Das Bad könnte ein bisschen schöner sein, aber ist noch voll in Ordnung. Die Rooftop Bar mit kostenlosem Bier und der Billardtisch sind aber cool.

Es ist nicht super social, aber das liegt vielleicht auch daran, dass in Cat Ba generell nicht viel los ist.

Great stay! I really enjoyed everything, when the showers in our room were not working properly, Bi from the reception helped us even though it was late at night. Would recommend this place for everyone!

We booked two rooms, and the receptionist, Ms. Ha Thu, recommended a small beer bar on the 8th floor (I don't remember the exact floor number), where we could watch fireworks or admire the moon. Always ask the hotel reception when visiting unfamiliar places. Thank you very much, Ms. Ha Thu.

Ms. Ha Thu, the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful. She's a local. Ms. Ha Thu showed us places to visit on Cat Ba Island; the beaches are beautiful, though they can get a bit crowded because it's summer.

The tourist season may bring sudden rain showers, so remember to bring a raincoat or umbrella.

The staff are the best! The dorms are really clean and the rooftop vibe is awesome!

The place is right in the center and the staff are super welcoming, everything's great. Probably one of the best hostels in Cat Ba, the dorms are really well-kept and they even have a rooftop bar, which is cool. Overall, I really liked my short stay there.

air conditioning unit is very dirty, can be a cause of Legionnaires' disease . Bathroom needs a better clean, cleaners are very lazy.

the location is very good, the rooms are clean, and the staff are the best, they give you magnificent service, always with a smile. the reception guys are the best, Bi and Thu especially gave us the best service! they are the best Vietnamese guys in Vietnam!

Perfect location, nice building, with great social area, big lobby on the ground floor and nice bar on the rooftop with nice view and jacuzzi. Double room spacious, comfortable bed. Staff on the reception very nice and polite.

Bathroom pretty tiny with shower above the toilet almost, but this is common in Vietnam. Maybe during cleaning ladies can be more careful, I found a lot of black hairs over the room.

Hostel très bien situé avec des chambres confortables avec une salle de bain par chambre. J'ai pu réserver une journée en bateau dans la baie d'Ha Long directement avec eux. Le personnel est très agréable et souriant. Il y a une table de billard, des jeux de société à disposition, un bar et un jaccuzi sur le rooftop qui donne une belle vue sur le coucher de soleil.

Super Lage, man kann ganz leicht zu Stränden laufen, die Restaurants neben an (besonders healing kitchen) sind super. Das Personal ist richtig freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind Sauber, modern mit AC - jedes Bett (welche auch sehr bequem waren) hatte sogar noch einen eigenen Fan. und im Bad gibt es sogar einen Föhn. Alles ist Modern und mit Armband handhabbar (Tür und locker). Würde ich immer weiterempfehlen!!

The air on in my room didn’t work. The roof top bar advertised wasn’t opened. No breakfast etc in the morning

Was cheap and alright hostel, room seemed a bit damp and wasn’t super clean.

The Jacuzzi gave me a rash (avoid!!) and I saw an enormous rat run across the bar downstairs one night.

I loved that the room was high up on the front so I had a view to the sea. The breakfast was good. It was very close to the travel agency I used for the LanHa and HaLong bays boat trip. This is great if you are a younger person.

A new resort is being erected in front of the strip blocking everyone's view so you need to make sure you are on levels 6 or 7. Bring Earplugs if you wish to have a noise-free night.

the jacuzzi is an absolut selling point. its great, warm, has nice views and is a great place to meet people. The downstairs area has a pool table which is great to meet people. Overall was everyone very social in the hostel even though its not a party hostel. The location is also great.

My room smelled like sewage but talking to others i learned that it was only our room and the others not. So if this happens to you just ask the staff.

The loud techno music in the lobby from 7 am and the brazilian staff member at the lobby who apparently works for the hostel but who doesnt have tips to give about any hike or any cruise or anything!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The facilities are great - we made good use of the pool table. It’s located in the centre of town and very class to some beautiful local beaches. There’s lots of activities on every evening for the guests- e.g karaoke, pub quiz, beer pong tournament

El hostal ofrece actividades cada día (tanto de pago como tours, pero también gratis como bingo, quiz nights, etc.) cosa que facilita el conocer gente si uno viaja solo. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, limpias y con baño privado. El desayuno está incluido y es bastante completo.

Cabe destacar que Cat Ba se encuentra en obras ahora mismo, así que el paseo marítimo que está justo en frente del hostal, tiene construcciones. Sin embargo, esto afecta a todos los hostales de la zona, pero no impide disfrutar de la estancia.

Chỗ ở có trò chơi nên các bạn sẽ không bị nhàm chán lúc ở khách sạn. Nhân viên thân thiện, nhẹ nhàng và chuyên nghiệp, thái độ rất tốt

Games and activities keep you interested while not being outside. Staff are helpful, dealing with things professionally with excellent attitude.
