Phong Nha Jasmine Hostel & Roof Top Bar

I really enjoyed my stay. Sadly it was raining so much that my reason to be in phong nha got cancelled so i checked out early and the hotel refunded me the secong night. They even had my laundry finished a lot earlier than discussed because of my spontanious depature. The staff was really nice an replied to my text within minutes. They even offered to help me book a last minute bus. At the reception they had many ddifferent available tours wich i sadly could not book because of the rain. I would definitely go there again the room was super nice and clean. The bathroom was also very clean an spacious. I really enjoyed my stay🩷

I was a little bit sad that the TV didn't work. They told me they already tried to fix it. This was a minor inconvenience and apart from that i liked everything about the hotel

Clean and comfy rooms, very good location but more importantly, the most amazing and welcoming staff.

rooms were big and had a nice view the hotel owners were very nice and helpful nice lighting in the bedroom

not so clean the lizards were coming from the bathroom pluming and there were a few also some ants the sink drain was leaking on the floor and the bathroom was wet

We booked last minute hotel and thought it will be like crowded because “Hostel” but they actually not Hostel 🤭 I asked him! The room was clean and huge. Bed was comfortable, bathroom with nice high pressure water, water heater on the bathroom also works well, Ac works perfectly in the hot days (also there is a fan).

Nothing bad actually about this place 😉

Great location in the center of town, clean rooms, and the staff were incredibly kind and supportive during my stay. They frequently checked in to see if there was anything they could help me with. Their service went above and beyond.

The WiFi was spotty at times but I think that’s just part of being in a small mountain town. Each floor had their own WiFi which definitely helped with connectivity.

Locations was perfect. The room had an outdoor patio which was really nice for sitting out on and for drying clothes post-cave tour. The breakfast had a lovely fruit spread and an options of egg bahn mi or pancakes. It was clean and well maintained.

Dang, was an amazing host, helping us with renting mopeds and also helping pay for activities when our QR code app was not working at the site. Property also has a pool table which was great fun. The chicken noodle soup with an amazing selection of fruit made breakfast very enjoyable.

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet hôtel. La chambre est grande avec un grand balcon, le rooftop est un vrai plus avec une vue magnifique et panoramique. L'hôtel est calme et la piscine rend le séjour encore meilleur. Le petit déjeuner sur le rooftop est bon, vous avez fruits, café et thé à volonté, puis 1 choix de plat dont des pancake très bon. On a adoré l'hospitalité de Dan qui nous a aidé à réserver notre bus, et qui était adorable du petit déjeuner jusqu'au soir. Il y a un service de lingerie et en face une location de scooter à bon prix.

Tous le personnel est avenant et sympathique. Ils sont très serviables. Pour la catégorie de cet hôtel le petit déjeuner était bon. Il nous manquait le yogourt et l’adepte et tout de suite parti en acheter sans que nous l’ayons demandé. Les chambres sont grandes et propres. La vue sur le toit sur lequel on prend aussi son petit déjeuner est magnifique Il y a une sympathique piscine

La vétusté de la douche qui mériterait de l’entretien ou un remplacement ainsi qu’une séparation avec les toilettes car quand on prend sa douche personne ne peut aller sur les toilettes et tout est inondé

After an unsuccessful stay at Phong Nha Memory Stay, where there were bedbugs, I was searching for a decent hotel in the middle of the night. Fortunately, despite it being midnight, Jasmine Hostel offered me a clean and spacious room at a good price, including breakfast. The breakfasts are simple but tasty, the pool is large and clean, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can also do your laundry on-site.

The breakfast could be more varied, but considering the price (450 VND per night), it was good.

Highly recommend. The staff of two brothers was friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable. I arrived around midnight, but could not find Jasmine Hostel due to their lights being off. I was actually standing right in front of it. There are tall floor to ceiling glass windows and glass doors above street level. Just walk up the large outside staircase. The room was large and had a balcony over looking the pool, river, and mountains. The rooftop area allowed a panoramic view. Breakfast is served up there. It is quiet and relaxing. The lower level has foosball tables, etc. The owner gave a ton of info about tours. He is happy to plan your trip and transportation. I did the combo of Botanical Garden, Paradise Cave and the Dark Cave with the mud bath. The tour included the zip lines and water activity. It was a FULL and fun day with a great group of people. The lunch included was delicious. I am not into tours, but this tour is good! If you have a scooter, an extended visit to the Botanical Garden would allow time to see the waterfall, swim, and trek a loop. One high point of staying at Phong Nha Jasmine Hostel & Roof Top Bar is the next door location of his sister's spa. Her and her staff's massages are excellent. I highly recommend her spa and highly recommend Jasmine Hostel.

Moi, cela ne m’a pas dérangé mais peut-être que pour certain.e.s cela pourrait être le cas: le petit déjeuner sur le roof top se fait en musique. 😂😂 Et c’est pas de la musique classique.

Nice and quite spacious rooms. Unfortunately, the AC wasn‘t really working well and the fridge neither. No power sockets next to the bed. Bathroom and especially shower very basic. But fine for one night and the staff as well as the breakfast on the roof terrace are great. We could even take a shower after the check-out before taking a night bus.

Lins was the best! We arrived early in the morning and he gave us a room to chill in. He also made sure we were always looked after, rented us a moped and booked our bus to Hue for us.

Rooftop bar was mostly closed during our stay because of Tet, shower had troubles with water temperature and pressure

Large, clean room with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was limited but tasty and adequate. Staff cheerful and helpful. Large bathroom and shower. Rooftop terrace for breakfast very nice. Great stay for such a small price.

I really liked staying here. The staff was very nice and a huge help. After my bus got cancelled they organized a new one for me in the middle of the night. That was great! Location of the Hostel was also very good!

The room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable. Dan was very kind and considerate. We rented motorbike for 100k/day and they also made a phone call to change the date for our sleeper bus ticket.

Very accommodating staff, it was no problem to check in at 4am with their 24 hrs reception. Linh from reception was very helpful and gave us restaurant recommendations. Right in centre of town. Great value for money.

The highlight are the staffs’s hospitality and the breakfast is also amazing. There are some problems with the room, and staff immediately help us change to new room.

The staff was really hospitable and nice. We checked out, were able to store our luggage until the next departure and were even offered to take a shower again before taking the next bus trip. Rooms are spacious and clean. AC works great. Breakfast is simple but good. You can choose from 6 different options. We chose bread, eggs and fruit. It has a nice rooftop towards the back where you can see the mountains, the town, the church and the river. There's also a pool table if you fancy a game.

We didn't use the pool, but also the water didn't look the best.

Great Location and friendly staff - especially Li

We booked this place just for one night as we were getting in late, but actually liked it better than our other hotel. It’s fairly basic, but the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The pool is a great asset, and the rooftop bar served a decent breakfast. No complaints at all for the price!

Staff were very helpful from the minute we got to the hotel with any queries we had and were helpful with booking tours and buses Bike rental and use of the pool was spot on Staff helpful with directions to local facilities such as the duck farm and local restaurants Bed was comfortable and spacious rooms

Slight problem with lock on door when assigned room but staff were very attentive and moved us rooms straight away.

Harde bedden met matrassen die doorliggen in het midden en dus aan vervanging toe zijn. 1 personeelslid was nogal opdringerig om tours en diensten te verkopen en dit aan een veel duurdere prijs dan andere touroperators. Andere receptionisten waren wel vriendelijk. Ouder hotel dat recent van naam veranderd is maar op de gevel en handdoeken staat nog de oude naam wat voor verwarring kan zorgen bij taxi- of Grabchauffeurs. Ontbijt niet zo lekker (pannenkoek niet gebakken)

Central location in town. Very communicative and checked us in at 3am after night bus. Very kindly allowed us to alter dates at late notice. Room large, cool and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Omelette at breakfast highly recommended.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans l’hôtel. Nous sommes arrivés à 2h du matin, quelqu’un était là pour nous accueillir. La chambre est propre et de bonne taille. Le petit déjeuner était bon et servi sur le rooftop avec une très jolie vue. Nous avons également pu louer un scooter, faire une lessive et profiter de la piscine. Enfin avant de repartir pour prendre le bus le soir, une douche nous a été mis à disposition. Super rapport qualité / prix. L’arrêt de bus était quasiment à l’hôtel très pratique pour les arrivées tardives. Plein de restaurants à côté. Merci pour l’accueil !

Great location, big rooms and very helpfull staff, helped us close tours for the paradise cave, dark cave, and phong nha.

Rooms were spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable, A/C worked, bathroom was great, large balcony plus rooftop has great view of the town and surrounding mountains. Linh was especially helpful and he allowed us to stay in the room until our bus came which was wonderful

We rented a scooter and bought a bus tickets from the front desk and then later realized that we were greatly overcharged for them. I suggest just booking your own scooter and bus ticket.

Best hostel breakfast, hands down. The rooms were also huge and super clean. Staff also stayed up to help us check in at 3am after our sleeper bus got in and they helped us book our next bus too. Highly highly recommend!

Not a super social hostel but it was quiet, which we prefer!

Lovely place to stay in a great location, with brilliant staff who are always there to help! For the price you can’t get much better !!

Great location, good breakfast with an amazing view from the rooftop. For this price you can’t expect much but I think few improvements can make a huge difference, the toilet seat is older than me, the shower head want to get retired.. and the room I had was quite humid, felt like in the tropical forest. Apart from that it’s quiet and again for this price you can’t expect much. I would recommend for a short stay!

Good location and nice rooftop bar with views over centre of Phong Nha. Alright for the price. Good water pressure but hot water doesn’t last very long at all.

Breakfast poor - cold, not many options, had to ask for plates and mugs. No staff around when we arrived had to wait a while to check in. Staff friendly once they arrived though.

Wir hatten Schimmel an der Decke und es war sehr feucht im Zimmer.

L'hôtel est central dans Phong Nha, et est facile d'accès quand on arrive en bus. Le rooftop de l'hôtel est très agréable, parfait en fin de journée pour avoir une vue sur l'ensemble de la ville, sur les montagnes et la rivière. Un service de nettoyage des habits est proposé sur place. Le gérant de l'hôtel est très sympathique et nous a réservé un tour des caves pour le jour même. Tout était très propre, je recommande chaudement d'y séjourner lors d'un passage à Phong Nha !
