Lynn is so friendly and accommodating he gave us great advice about things to do in Phong Nha and booked our bus to Hue which was really helpful! The room had everything you need and a comfy bed :) so close and convenient to shops/restaurants and free bike hire !

We had an absolutely perfect stay! We arrived late at night for check-in, and the host was right there waiting for us with such a warm, welcoming attitude. He was incredibly helpful throughout our entire trip, even helped us organize our activities.. Everything was seamless, comfortable, and well-organized. 10/10—we couldn't have asked for a better host or stay!

Die Lage an der Hauptstraße mit vielen Restaurants und Shops ist sehr gut, das Team war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Betten sehr bequem. Der Pool war recht stark gechlort, aber die Aussicht auf die steile, dicht bewachsene Felswand direkt dahinter spektakulär. Das Hotel hat uns einen sehr netten Fahrer organisiert, der uns zum botanischen Garten und zur Paradise Cave brachte, beides definitiv Highlights unserer Reise!

Nach dem Duschen ist das Bad geflutet, aber bei den Temperaturen trocknet es recht schnell. Die Zimmer sind nicht besonders schön, aber zweckmäßig und sauber.

Un acierto este homestay, está limpio, cuidado, con una piscina muy bonita rodeada de vegetación y nos han atendido de forma muy amable, ayudando en todo lo posible y el desayuno exquisito!!!

Homestay central proche de l'embarcadère pour la grotte de phong nha et entouré de restaurants. Linh est très gentil et serviable, il m'a bien conseillé sur les excursions et j'ai pu en programmer une pour le lendemain malgré mon arrivée tardive. Il loue aussi des vélo à la journée pour 50k très sympa pour explorer les environs. Matelas confortable et wifi correct.

Un peu spartiate et vétuste, manque de prises, mauvaise insonorisation et pas de pression dans la douche. Mais pour le prix ça fait l'affaire et le but ici c'est de faire des excursions sinon il faut viser des hôtels plus luxueux.

Être au centre-ville à proximité des restaurants et du point de départ en bateau. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Très calme pour les chambres à l’arrière du bâtiment.

Chambres un peu vieillotte. Ergonomie des prises électriques (bizarre d’avoir une prise en plein milieu au-dessus du lit). 1 seule table de chevet. Compliqué pour recharger les mobiles.

The place was clean, homely and the staff were fantastic. Linh was great and always went out of his way to help with any queries. Room was great for the price and so clean considering we were in the middle of Phong Nha

It seemed very clean, the fan on the ceiling is great for sleeping with the AC turned off if you prefer.

The pictures are deceiving, the property is quite run down.

Nước bể bơi chưa được dọn hàng ngày, còn có bụi và lá cây trong bể. Homestay nên yêu cầu khách lưu trú xuống bơi phải mặc đồ bơi để giữ vệ sinh.

we paid extra for a private balcony but it was more of a public one as people could access it from the hall and some people sat at the table outside it

Établissement à mon sens surnoté. Par rapport aux standards que nous avons eu au Vietnam à ce prix, c’était un peu décevant. Chambre trop basique : aucun rangement, propreté pas top, salle de bain cheap, balcon étant une partie commune.

Lovely family run business - nice mix of local Vietnamese people and western tourists. Very helpful and friendly - was happy to help without trying to flog you trips

Случайно оказались здесь, проходя мимо, и очень рады такому открытию! Место замечательное: спится здесь отлично, вокруг свежий воздух, красивый вид и очень ухоженная территория. Отдельно хочу поблагодарить владельца — очень приятный человек. Он не только создал уютную атмосферу, но и помог нам с организацией: через него мы взяли очень выгодные экскурсии, а также забронировали автобусы напрямую (это вышло дешевле, чем через любые агрегаторы). Завтраки здесь скромные, но вполне приемлемые и вкусные. В номерах и на территории очень чисто и приятно. Однозначно рекомендую это место! Желаю вам процветания.

The hostel provided me with a spectacular experience. Linh helped me organize everything, giving me recommendations, guiding me, and assisting me. The breakfast was delicious; I ordered scrambled eggs with a wonderful coffee. I highly recommend staying at Thao Nguyen Homestay. It's a very complete place, in a good location, and most importantly, the people who work there are very nice.

I honestly have no complaints. I just don't like that I only had such a short time in Phong Nha, as it's such a beautiful place. I'll be back.

A very good stay considering the price. Room was bit old but very clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

This is a fantastic place to stay, great location in Phong Nha, walking distance to the boat station, shops, restaurants, bus station, market...everything. The room was large with very good aircon and fridge. Opening windows for the afternoons when the sun is on the other side of the building. Wifi was good. Everywhere is super clean. The pool was great, we used it every day, and the lift was a great help with our luggage. We got breakfast included and you had a choice from the menu which included a drink. The owners/staff were great, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Even made us breakfast a bit as we went out to the cave at 7am. They offer tours, we didn't take one as I'm recovering from an injury, but we spoke to some guests who booked through the guesthouse and said it was really good. Would definitely recommend and will come back!

For the price it was exactly what you want- clean and comfortable. I will also say that the host Linh was exceptional- extremely kind and helpful- helped to sort our laundry, bikes, and overnight bus to the next destination. Very grateful, thank you Linh!!

オーナーさんがとても親切で、宿泊の前から丁寧なコンタクトをとってくれました。 ツアーや車の手配、周辺レストランのオススメまであり、とても満足のいくステイでした。 ホテルでの朝ごはんもいくつかあるメニューから選べて美味しかったです。 家族4人で泊まるのに、セミダブルベッド3台の部屋を選びました。部屋はエアコンも効いて、シーツも清潔でした。少しアリがいたりもしたけれど、殺虫剤も貸し出してくれました。他の部屋と異なりテーブルや冷蔵庫、セーステイボックスが無かったけれど、家族でお得に泊まれたので良かったです。 フォンニャ洞窟行きのボートセンターも徒歩で行けて、便利でした。

この施設のせいではないけれど、手配してくれたツアーガイドが途中で列から離れてしまい、私たちは他のガイドに任されました。でもこの後から来たガイドはダークケイブの中で、西洋人の若い人たちばかり写真を撮って、私たち家族の写真を最低限しか撮ってくれませんでした。 一生に一度だと思うのに、そこだけ残念でした。

Great little town, a must visit with great tours. Would highly recommend staying at Thao Nguyen Homestay. Amazing value with extremely intentive staff! Really good breakfast included and we also used their laundry service which was fantastic value for money!

Great location. Close to restaurants, ATM, mini-markets, sleeper bus stop, and the Phong Nha Cave cruise dock. Spacious room. Nice home-made breakfast included. Nice responsive host, who also does laundry for a nominal fee. I feel it’s a great deal for a budget-conscious tourist.

A very comfortable hotel which is well run and organised. Excellent communication with Linh throughout who really helped us to make the most of our days. Transport organised for our next destination was smooth as well.

Host went above and beyond during our stay, the pool was nice also.

Great location, staff were very helpful and friendly. Can rent motorbikes for 100k per day which was great. Nice pool.

Unfortunately at the time of our stay, there was construction works in the building, particularly on the roof (6th floor) and we were staying on the 5th floor. The workers started drilling and hammering from 6am each day of our stay! This aswell as the shower not being powerful were the only downsides.

The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable and the host was really nice.

Es war wirklich supi. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Gastgeber war wirklich toll und das Frühstück hat uns auch gut geschmeckt. Zimmer war top und sah sehr neu aus. Bett ein bisschen hart, aber ist sicher Geschmackssache. Bei der Weiterfahrt hat er uns auch sehr geholfen und mit der Busgesellschaft telefoniert und nen günstigeren Preis für uns rausgeholt. Absolut zu empfehlen.

From helping us organizing cave tours, organizing a driver to our next destination, hassle free motorbike/bicycle rentals, great affordable rooms with smart tv, this is by far the best value for money place I’ve ever stayed at, located perfectly with all the best restaurants/ groceries just a minutes walk away. Thao Nguyen is really friendly his hospitality is one of a kind, would definitely come back when I’m back in phong nha

La chambre est grande, lumineuse et propre mais ne correspondait pas à la photo de la réservation. Il n’y avait ni canapé ni armoire. Le propriétaire nous a fourni une armoire lorsque nous lui en avons fait la remarque car nous y restions plusieurs jours. La douche est située entre le WC et le lavabo ce qui n’est pas pratique. Le bâtiment est relativement neuf donc les logements sont modernes. L’ascenseur est vitré et fonctionnel . La piscine est grande et agréable. Le propriétaire est toujours présent et réactif. Petit déjeuner simple, une omelette ou des pancakes, pas de fruits. L’hôtel propose des activités et il est bien placé en ville, proche des départs en barque. Il propose des vélos pour 50 000 VND et des scooters pour 150 000 VND à condition d’avoir le permis international.

Notre robinet au lavabo était dévissé ce qui rendait difficile son utilisation. Peut être aurait il fallu le réparer avant de proposer la chambre à la location.

Linh was fantastic! Unfortunately I was struck down with food poisoning on the first day I texted linh and asked to extend an extra night and this was not a problem he even offered to bring me up some ginger tea, we booked a tour through him which was brilliant we really enjoyed our time the pool is lovely and Bon Bon the dog is a sweetheart

Centralna lokacija, čisto, velika postelja, ki je udobna. Prijazen in prikupen kuža Bon Bon. Zelo dobra masaža v salonu žene. Dobra omleta za zajtrk. Lastnik pomaga pri organizaciji izletov in prevozov.

Ko se tuširate, se zmoči celotna kopalnica. Zelo velika okna, vendar je najina soba imela pogled na bazen, zato se je tudi v najino sobo videlo iz bazena.

Отличное размещение! Очень внимательный персонал. Линь обо всем позаботился - встретил, кормил, заказывал билеты и экскурсии. Отличные разнообразные завтраки.

Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist gut und unser Zimmer was sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das gesamte Homestay sieht sehr gut aus und wir konnten einen guten Roller mieten. Auch für Touren hat der Besitzer viele hilfreiche Tipps.

The staff, room, location, breakfast included, pool (didn’t use but looked nice), overall amazing experience and Leng the lovely man who worked there was exceptionally helpful ! We had our bus cancelled and he helped us book another one that morning! So so kind of him. The room was clean and a tv that worked with good WiFi!

Tágas szoba,szép kilátás a medencénél ,nagyon kedves és segítőkész vendéglátó ( túra és busz szervezés), finom reggeli. Az internet nagyon gyors, köszönjük!

Sajnos csak egy kis asztal és két szék van a szobában, lehetne több tároló hely. A párás idő miatt eléggé nedves. A fürdőszobába jól jönne egy párátlanító. Kis lámpa hangulatos lenne.

Little mix up with the bus that the front desk booked for us was a little frustrating. Like most places in Vietnam, a little TLC on the building would go a long way.

Соотношение цена-качество. Комнаты, конечно, уже потрепанные немного, но опять же за 16 долларов еще и с завтраком это все хорошо. Плюс супер дружелюбный хозяин. Он действительно был весьма услужлив с нами, помогал и даже дал скидку на посещение массажа в салоне его жены. Отель для одной ночи самое то. Завтрак тоже вполне себе вкусный!

Perfect stay here! Staff are exceptional, location is perfect and the Homestay is clean and comfortable with everything you need. Had so much help from the team with booking tours and advice on local attractions. Would stay again because I didn’t want to leave.

Linh, the manager, was so friendly and very accommodating for any of our needs. The homestay was very clean and quiet. Linh also provided us a great bicycle route in the countryside (free bikes provided).
