Great location, close to the boat dock for trips to Phong Nga Cave, surrounded by restaurants, tour shops and motorbike rentals.

I stayed in a room on the third floor facing the road, which had two disadvantages: the glass door let the hallway light in at night, and the windows rattled in the wind (the main street is a wind tunnel). Next time I would choose a different room - the ones by the pool look nice.

Very friendly host, we arrived in the middle of the night and she welcomed us. Also very helpfull with arranging tour tickets, busses, taxi prices etc. We also had our laundry done. The rooms are very spacious! Wow! The kids definitely enjoyed the swilming pool. Overall a place I would for sure recommend. It was also very peacefull and not busy at all and we enjoyed our stay.

Maybe the airco was not strong enlugh to cool the large rooms, but we got additional centilators instead.

Lovely atmosphere, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hostess was very accommodating, arranged trips for us and transportation to our next destination.

The pool was clean and nice and refreshing.

Bathroom was not air conditioned

Amazing homestay. Allowed us to change our dates at no extra cost and booked an overnight bus to Ninh Binh for us! Place is amazing, super clean and tidy and right in town. Definitely get your bang for buck here, will stay again if we ever come back to Phong Nha!

Отличное предложение за такую сумму, очень приятное и красивое место. Двор очень красивый и уютный! Внутри номера тоже всё сделано с душой!

Я понимаю, что у хозяев и так много забот, и цена очень низкая, но если они смогут добавить чуть больше света в номер, почистить кондиционер, и немного подремонтировать сантехнику, то будет вообще идеально! Но ещё раз повторюсь - за такую цену, всё на очень достойном уровне!

Las chicas de la recepcion fueron muy amables y nos ayudaron con todo lo q necesitabamos, el alojamiento es amplio y muy comodo, limpio, con una piscina q se agradece q esté. Hay dos niñas encantadoras y muy divertidas. La ubicacion muy buena. Se encargaron de las excursiones a las cuevas y el bus hacia Hue. Muy recomedable

The hotel informed Booking.com that there was no show on my reservation yet I showed up and stayed for 1 night. It seemed that the bed sheets and pillows cases were not washed and replaced. I was eaten alive with bedbugs. It was an unpleasant way to start my staying in Phong Nha. I immediately moved to a different hotel a short walk away named Phong Nha Orient Homestay. This hotel is much cleaner and also cheaper than Vu’s Homestay. I would grade Vu’s less than 1 star.

Proximity, but not to noisy Bar

Aircon was not up to the task.Fridge unbelievably noisy, drinking glass with massive crack ,west facing window with inadequate cover to reduce awful heat gain in room.

Vu is very nice and helpful with buses.... the location.was great and close to everything. our room was big and we looked at a karst from our window.

Accueil parfait, tout le monde est très gentil et dispo. La chambre est très bien et propre ainsi que la partie salle de bain. C'est super bien placé. On peut louer la moto bike qui est top. Merci pour tout. Rapport qualité prix rien à redire.

The bed is very comfortable. The room is spacious. Everything was really clean. Good location. Nice pool and common area.

Had a little problem with the shower (it stopped running water once for about 5 minutes) and the tv didn’t seem to be working. None of these were major problems but worth looking into.

Comfortable home with adorable family. This homestay offers easy access to everything around town and the country beyond. Plenty of eateries steps away, the main pier is 2 blocks, and buses generally drop and pick up nearby. Host is very familiar with the local tours and can arrange everything. Despite being on the main avenue, the village is quiet after 10:30. I had a triple room right on the streetside with gorgeous views of the mountains opposite and slept well.

Decent, no major flaws but also nothing outstanding.

Habitación aceptable, con lo necesario para lo que era, pasar la noche. La ubicación bastante céntrica para coger el autobús y de lugares para comer. Tampoco se puede pedir mucho más por el precio.

Gute Lage, großes Zimmer, bequeme Betten, gute Ausstattung. Freundliches Personal. Da unsere Weiterfahrt erst sehr spät war, durften wir abends die Duschen am Pool benutzen und unser Gepäck lagern.

Leider gab es keine Option für ein Frühstück. Angesichts von Tet war das nicht so einfach, etwas im Ort zu finden.

Отель расположен в центре Фонгни,в пешей доступности от точки куда прибыл наш слип-бас из Халонга. Номер большой с окном в сад и бассейн, оригинальный дизайн. Есть место,где можно приготовить завтрак,если у вас запланирована ранняя экскурсия. Через отель бронировали экскурсии ( 1я в Golden cave,E -cane с треккингом по джунглям и каякингом от abandoned valley самый позитивный гид Duk и его команда. Тур стоит своих денег, насыщенный, экстремальный,требует хорошей физической подготовки и экипировки( трек.обувь, брюки для скалолазания, купальник). Также брали обзорную по Paradise Cave и ботаническому саду( здесь я сделал много красивых фото в длинном платье, подойдет всем,подготовки не надо). 3я экскурсия ( в Phong Nha Cave с каякингом) была запланирована в дождливую погоду, чтобы не терять день отпуска,т.к в пещере нет дождя. Трекинг был непростой, включал каякинг,и посещение пещерной реки( купались 2 раза,если закаленные,вода примерно 20с). Если любите другой отдых-спрашивайте на рецепшен( ангийский нормальный,если не понятно используйте переводчик на вьетнамский). Нам понравился ресторан с egg cofe, массаж с слепыми мастерами ( он вблизи с отелем, массаж для тех,кто любит пожестче-после лазанья по пещерам было супер). Персонал подобрала нам комфортный слип-бас для продолжения трипа. После выселения из номера вещи оставили в комнате хостела( он был рядом с нашим номером),была возможность принять душ, туалет, помыть фрукты,кушатьв ожидании автобуса.

Centralt i Phong Nha och sköna sängar. Fint badrum och bra service av personalen.

Luften var lite kvalmig men det fanns en air purifyer. Det gick tyvärr inte att stänga av ACn i vårt rum så det blev väldigt kallt på natten.

Ideale Lage bezüglich An- und Abreise per Bus und für die Höhlentouren. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und spricht etwas Englisch.

Das Personal möchte gern Touren vermitteln, kennt sich aber mit Details nicht wirklich aus. Es geht primär um das Geschäft. Ein paar Häuser weiter wird man kompetenter beraten.

Tidy and cute, has character, great value for the price! Really lovely staff. Very central location. They allowed me to stay and use the pool and showers after check out when I was waiting for the night bus which was so kind and generous. Absolutely would stay again and recommend. Thank you!

The pool was great. Situated close to my favourite restaurant bamboo chopsticks

The room I booked with balcony and mountain view was different than pic. It now has 2 beds in it. She said the balcony was a 800m ledge that you would climb over the table and out the sliding window to access above the noisy main road if you want to smoke. . We were in a 3 story building.. not the poolside huts. After spending a late afternoon in the pool she hassled me about staying in the hotel and not going to caves where we had been that day but had rested the day before just going out for meals.

Great value for the money.

The location was great, very close to the sleeper bus station, bicycle rental place and the river. The host offered us coffee and lemon tea every time we ran into each other, the pool was a nice temperature. Even after checking out we were allowed to take a shower in the shared bathroom. Also our sleeper bus left at 23:30 and the host was incredibly generous and let us stay in one of the shared rooms free of charge before we left, so we could rest a bit.

The room was listed as soundproof, but it definitely wasn’t. We could clearly hear loud music from the bar next door and everything happening in the neighbouring room. The restaurant had a large whiteboard menu but wasn’t serving food. Staff were rarely present, and we didn’t feel particularly welcome — more like we were in the way. It felt like the owners might have been away. Overall, it didn’t align with the recent reviews we’d read or the usual warm homestay vibe. If you need a pool and central location, it might work. But for us, it was a disappointing stay.

Spacious rooms, clean and fresh swimming pool. I couldn't expect more for only $10 per night.

My bathroom with the glass-made roof is next to an apartment block. It wold be very inconvenient for women.

The woman wasn't interested in giving information except for selling tours (where I expect she makes money). Every question I asked was met with: 'just Google it'. "How was the weather yesterday?" "Google it"- and that was the attitude throughout. No free tea coffee and lemonade like others mentioned. No restaurant - it's closed for public only open for locals or friends it seemed. A/C doesn't work well Shame because some of the accommodation is really nice.

Karaoke bar is very close and you could hear it through the whole night. We were woken up by people getting in at 2am. The room had a rather damp smell to it and the WiFi was very bad.

Bed was very comfortable. Great location. Easy to rent motorbike and organize bus out of the city. Very clean. Nice pool. Considering the price, this is amazing value.

Wifi in room was spotty at best. Check-in was rushed and at times communication was difficult.

Nice and spacious double rooms with very comfortable beds. Good location for activities, friendly staff. The pool is also great. You can get breakfast here, and book tours, busses etc. Great value for the price
