Fantastisk beliggenhed med scenerisk udsigt over bugten.
Everything!
Stunning location for views, amazing staff, great restaurant
Value for money
The room design was nice! And the personal buggy service to other restaurants was great.
The restaurant/ bar / pool was tiny. The food was below average. The staff didn’t understand English and laughed every time we asked for something at the restaurant and would walk over the talk to each other and then three staff would approach to ask what was needed. I think the staff need much more training. The food was below average and very plain. We needed up going for dinner in another resort down the road “frangipani resort” which was absolutely amazing quality of food every single time we went and the resort is situated on the water. Pool is so small considering all the rooms they have the Kuana. Also the room always smelt like sewerage and waste from the toilet.
The pyramid was beautiful and the decking area had a fantastic view. The food in the restaurant was lovely and pool area had a great view too. The staff were all very welcoming and worked hard to provide a good service.
The intercom and shuttle service needs improvement. Several times we had to walk up the hill as no response on the intercom and the hill was very steep! One time, a driver drove past us at the gate and didn’t stop to offer us a lift. Very difficult for front desk staff to always respond. Maybe having a station at the gate with drivers waiting would help. Pyramid was a tight squeeze for four people when sofa bed was down.
Beautiful and unique rooms, and the food was amazing. Air conditioning was great and the beds were very comfortable.
It was a little far from town, transport is needed in both directions via tuktuk but the property provided this free of charge. The only downside is that they only have one driver so sometimes he was not available
Location was perfect overlooking spectacular views from the pyramids
There is no public transportation to get up to the reception area to check in- instructions needs to be provided how to get there and they have a complimentary tuk tuk service to take u to reception you just need to tell them you need someone to pick you
The view was amazing, the rooms were as very clean, the staff were all very friendly.
The step hill, but you just need to get the driver to take you up & down the hill.
Room was nice and the view is great
We stayed in the Glass Pyramid and the AC didn’t work initially, which made the room something of a greenhouse. The hotel is located at the top of a very steep hill which cannot be walked. The hotel offer a complimentary shuttle up and down the hill, but there seemed only to be one vehicle. This meant that, if the vehicle was already in use elsewhere, you could be stranded in town without being able to get back up to the hotel. I made the reservation with booking.com, paying for the stay in advance. However, upon checking out, the reception gave me a bill for the cost of the room, which I told them I had already paid for, and I provided proof of receipts etc. After going back and forth, the hotel realised that they had forgotten to take my payment in advance and I therefore needed to pay the outstanding balance. I was, of course, more than happy to do this, but they texted and called me multiple times in the middle of the night, even threatening to go to the police when I did not answer the phone at three o’clock in the morning. This strikes me as a very unprofessional thing to do when it was their error in the first place.
The Pyramid accommodation was great with amazing views. Pool facility and views were excellent. Food was good as well a service. I would recommend staying at Karina rather in El Nido town.
Service could have been better however it was admit a big negative.
Absolutely outstanding - great view, free tricycle rides into town. Helpful and lovely staff
We requested a transport to Nacpan beach and what they quoted us was 4x higher what we were able to find in town
