An idyllic location. Tranquil setting with an easy stroll down to a beautiful lake where our son swam twice during our one night stay. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had one bedroom each with our own en suite. The community house offered a comfortable living room and a spacious breakfast room with a good breakfast available. Set in a stunning national park, we would definitely return.

It met all our requirements and exceeded our expectations.

The location of the property is absolutely superb. If you are planning on a hike anywhere in Snowdonia, then this is the perfect place to begin from. The staff that worked there are also very friendly . The rooms are also very clean and absolutely spotless Also, if you’re feeling brave, there is a lake on site in which you can swim in

J'ai regretté de ne pas pouvoir prendre de petit déjeuner, car les horaires ne correspondaient pas.

The staff were amazing and the views were awesome. This could be my fault, but, on the advert the pictures made it look like you had your own apartment not just a room. I was a bit shocked to find it was a hostel like room. On the welcome instruction sheet it said to fill the kettle just use the tap in your room, no tap/sink nearest place was the communal toilet basin which I was unsure if it was drinking water or not. Ee ended up buying large bottles of water just in case. All though you don't go away to watch tv but its nice to have one as an option in case of bad weather or for the evenings but no tv in rooms or communal areas. Rooms were a little tired and carpets looked liked they hadn't been hoovered or just worn in places maybe. We left one night earlier and opted to a Premier Inn. I should of known for the price what were getting so partially by own fault. Its a real shame as the location has lots of potential!

An amazing setting. Grounds are beautiful. Everything you need is provided. Lovely spacious rooms. Beautiful modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh produce grown on site. Kitchen is open 24hrs for unlimited drinks. Lovely sitting rooms with plenty of books and boardgames. Found the WiFi to be good.

Views were lovely! Some nice walks nearby. En suite bathroom was great! Breakfast was very good.

The shared bathroom on the stairs needs a bit of TLC

Breakfast was very simple and tasty, specially the bread. Location was fabulous ful of peace, tranquility, pleasant environment.

Lighting outside the building, the way from our room to kitchen were water facilities kept, it was pitch dark. I have to go for drinking water at night.

Trigonos is in a beautiful, peaceful location and the views from the lake are lovely. The staff are friendly, breakfast quite enough for me and it was a great place to relax, but also made a useful base for also exploring Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula.

I didn't find the mattress very comfortable.

The room was very large, clean, and with a fabulous view of the lake. The bathroom was spotless with modern fittings. The welcome was excellent with a guided tour of the house and garden, and we were made to feel very welcome. The location was wonderful and peaceful. There is plenty of parking space. We would definitely stay there again.

The self-service breakfast was a bit chaotic.

The location was in a beautiful setting, perfect for walking in the area. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable.

The room is very clean and pleasant. It was also good that various beverages were available (e.g. many kinds of tea bag, milk, coffee, French press and so on) in the lobby.

The quiet location by a lake with great views. Refreshments being available in room and in shared areas including a lounge. Great welcome.

The breakfast did not meet my expectations as there was very little I liked. When I made the initial booking I did not notice that the centre is really for Yoga, vegan or similar enthuiasts which is fine. But for those who need a more substancial breakfast, e.g for walking the hills, I did not consider that what was on offer was sufficient.

Breakfast is only 8:30-9:30 which is quite limiting. Also we got there 8:15 and a lot of it had gone or looked like it had been sitting out for a while

We were arriving late after reception had closed. We were left really clear instructions about the key for the rooms and how to find them. The location was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Nice clean spacious rooms. Good facilities

Everthing was relaxed and comfortable.

The scenery was amazing but the photos on the website are misleading, you expect the hotel to be much closer to the lake. You can barely see the lake from the main building.

it is more like YHA. And it is a vegetarian place， which means the breakfast isvery plain, esp there was no egg on my 1st day of stay.

there was nothing not to like. very beautiful and nice area with a lake you can sit beside. very peaceful even with the sheep bleating in the background every now and then which i found funny.

Unusual. Really good vibe. We chatted to so many different sets of people, enjoyed swimming in the Lake when we arrived, read in the library at night, and the receptionist and breakfast chef were super friendly. We were sad to leave and are already talking about coming back. Whilst there were not traditional facilities like a TV. Instead, there were spectacular stars in the sky (one of only 18 dark sky reserves in the world). We loved it here, but it wouldn’t suit everyone.

Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful, Clean. Away from everything as so remote. Loved you could go into the kitchen and dining area and make a drink or get food from the fridge. Home from home, our bed in room 6 was so comfortable & the view from the window was amazing.

Quite a unique location, estate surrounded by peace, nature and a lake. Breakfast downstairs and kitchen service was very efficient.

The only downside was that one of my two pillows had a visible, quite large reddish stain on it. I didn't mention this until our check out because luckily I only needed one pillow but was surprised that it hasn't been noticed before our arrival. Also, in the shower, water was often suddenly changing a temperature for a second but then going quickly back to the one you selected.

It was just what I needed to get away from it all. Relaxed, and different from most places. There is an ideology to the location, and it fits its environment perfectly. Sustainable, minimal impact on the environment… this would suggest lesser rooms… wrong! They’re new, perfectly clean, immaculately so, great shower… kettle, wardrobe, desk… and additional electrical items that can be obtained from reception. The rooms are excellent!! The location… look at the photos. It’s beautiful, acres of land to walk in, animals farmed, a lake that retains heat (as long as it’s not freshly rained)… great for swimming. Nothing within walking distance… aside from the site itself… a coffee by the lake in the morning, with a swim… perfect! The breakfast is nice, basic, but nice. The staff are normally busy, but very friendly. They are lovely people, and most I spoke to have an artistic temperament. Makes sense with the ideology and the environment. I developed one too. It’s quite common to see people painting/drawing. I had a lovely few nights here… I would be very happy to return.

The check in/out times are quite unusual… check out is 9.30am (seems a touch early), and check in is 4pm (a touch late), and anything after 5pm is regarded as a late check in… and you get directions to self check-in. It works, but is a bit quirky, and misses the initial contact/personal touch.

Las horas para hacer check in y check out son justas, aunque compensa por la buena relación calidad precio del lugar. Al hacer un check in tardío no tuvimos contacto directo con nadie del servicio y eso nos dejó con la sensación de estar un poco perdidos, en el desayuno no conocíamos bien el código de conducta por ejemplo, aunque no era difícil sobre entenderlo, pero habríamos agradecido ese contacto humano algo más cálido. Aún así he de señalar que la amabilidad del servicio al hacer check out y con las limpiadoras con las que hablamos fue muy correcto.

A wonderful, peaceful location in the beautiful village of Nantlle, in a stunning valley near Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The facilities are excellent, clean, and spotless throughout. I particularly enjoyed the sauna and the lovely library, which made the stay even more relaxing. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any request. I also really love the concept of a biodynamic farm stay and social business in such a remote and beautiful location, far away from the chaos of the city. Overall, Trigonos Home is a fantastic place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend it!

The room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of good quality tea and coffee. Bread was home made and delicious.

I would have enjoyed some bacon at breakfast and cooked tomatoes. It did say that it was all vegetarian though. Toilet roll quality was very low which for me is false economy as you need to use so much more

There was no personal contact from staff for the two nights we stayed. Yes it’s nice to have privacy, however, having someone to greet us (yes we did arrive at 7:30pm which is after hours so I understand that) would’ve been nice, our checkout involved putting keys in a basket and no one was at the reception desk to even say goodbye.

A very comfortable room but I was expecting en suite at this price. Poor communication. The email reply was too late, and I didn't get a call back when I phoned. So I arrived feeling quite worried.

The setting of the B&B is literally breathtaking. The lake and mountains surrounding it are so beautiful.

I've had to search for something here because they do everything so well and the staff are amazing and friendly. The only very very minor downside was we booked the family cottage and arranged to play some of the boardgames in the evening but unfortunately they were broken which for us adults is a hiccup but was the end of the world for the little one. But honestly I this is my only complaint it shows you how good it is.

It's a long way from shops and pubs

We stayed one night in the self-catering cottage which has two bedrooms, a small lounge, a good-sized kitchen and a downstairs bathroom. The cottage is quite simple but this is what you would expect at a mountain retreat centre. We also had access to the attractive main house. We paid extra for breakfast but it was very good. The grounds were absolutely fantastic: next to a lake and surrounded by mountains. Check out was at 9:30 but we were allowed to stay in the grounds for longer. Lots of parking.

Twin bedroom had two completely separate single beds, room was beside toilets and shower room and exit outside door and was noisy with other guests waking to/from rooms, breakfast was a real disappointment as hot food was minimal with stogy looking beans & scrambled eggs as pretty much you’re only option bar toast. Fruits & yoghurts & juice weren’t topped up. Tables not cleaned. Didn’t meet a single member of staff until I checked out.

Convenient location for my hike on the Nantile Ridge. The accommodation was very quiet.

Breakfast was a bit late for me. 8.30 to 9.30. I was not aware of this when booking as I like to make an early start when hiking. However I went there at 8 o’clock and the staff were pretty accommodating.

Very clean and comfortable room and the view of the mountains and the lake was just breathtaking! The fresh smell of pine trees & flowers filled the whole area and same in the room. Free good quality and all types of teas & coffees to enjoy anytime throughout the day.

There was work going on with the sauna and outdoor hot tub and it was noisy and messy. The gardener was cutting the grass when we were having our yoga session which created noise and disturbance 🥲

A wonderful retreat. The breakfast was great, even though I miss my bacon. And I wish I had thought to bring some trunks to swim in the warm lake, I had to settle for an enjoyable little paddle.

Great location, has a lake and surrounding views were amazing. Good location for hiking Snowdon. Our ensuite bathroom was modern and clean.

The listing fails to mention that this is actually a hostel and breakfast is only served from 0830-0930. Although, I wouldn't expect much for breakfast, as it's mediocre at best. We arrived for breakfast at 0845 and all the fruits and yoghurt were gone, which was no surprise since they only left one 500ml yoghurt pot out for everyone to use. The clean cutleries and plates were also mostly used by that time. We waited to see if they would get replaced but it seemed the staff did not care and barely came out of the kitchen to check on what needs topping up. Unfortunately, the worst breakfast experience we've ever had anywhere.

The walls: I could fully listen to the conversation of my next door neighbours. AND their snoring. Everything else was *perfect*,but I expected the insulation to be decent.

The location was absolutely outstanding. Spectacular views and grounds. They even had a library. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The room had a fan included during the heatwave. Incredible value. Highly recommend and hope to return some time for a mini retreat.

This was in an amazing location with stunning views all around. The room was spacious and bright. The showers were hot and powerful with provided shower gel and shampoo. Free tea and coffee and the onsite shop sold a variety of food stuff.

After being asked to fill out a different form to notify them of my allergies. I was surprised to see so much of my allergen left out, I was worried about cross contamination(I'm anaphylactic for nuts and peanuts) there seems to be signs all over for gluten free products but nothing for allergies, which can kill. Other than this the stay was perfect.

The location was idilyic,very peaceful, pleasant staff and very friendly. The emphasis on the breakfast was natural food sources ( vegan) but non vegan options where available, and was very enjoyable.There was a lake that was anatomy swim in also.
