The hotel is located in a quiet area, just a 10-minute taxi ride from the city. There is a restaurant and a shop on-site. The owner is very helpful and speaks English—a rarity in China.

Nothing in particular—just keep in mind that it’s a mountain hotel where you have to walk up and down, and there are only stairs. That didn’t bother us, though.

Michelle’s little hotel is really nice and the service is excellent, so is the food. I think all of Guilin’s attractions are in easy reach, one of the caves is 5 minutes by foot and Michelle is super helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Guilin Village Creek Inn. The service provided by Michel and her family was outstanding—they made us feel completely at home and even arranged all our transport and attraction bookings for the five of us. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view of the surrounding nature. The food was delicious, especially the local Guilin fish dish. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a comfortable and genuine Guilin experience!

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The real added value is the friendliness of the entire staff. The rooms are extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. The food at their restaurant is excellent. Dumplings are simply amazing!

Coup de cœur !! Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment parfait grâce à Michelle et sa famille, une équipe avec plein d’énergie toujours très attentionnée. La chambre est très confortable, le petit déjeuner est excellent, l’emplacement est au calme près d’un coin magnifique de la rivière ( la vue sur la terrasse du dernier étage est magnifique!), et à 10 min du centre ville en voiture/scooter. Nous avons pu réserver une excursion dans les rizières en passant par une plantation de thé avec un taxi privé, nous avons fait un cours de cuisine pour apprendre à faire des dumplings pour 100 RMB ( un trop bon souvenir je recommande !!!!), des vélos et scooter électriques en libre service gratuits super pratiques pour explorer les environs et aller au centre ville, encore un immense merci pour ce magnifique séjour !

The owner and his brother were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help us. They gave us great travel recommendations and even helped us book tickets for local attractions. They also offer day trips, and we highly recommend them. The owner's brother is an excellent driver—we had to travel on winding mountain roads, but his driving was so smooth that none of us experienced any motion sickness. The accommodation is located in a small, peaceful village with beautiful surroundings. Despite the quiet location, it's only a 10–15 minute Uber ride to the city center, making it very convenient to explore the area every day. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The soundproofing was good, so we had a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Das Hotel wird von einer sehr herzlichen Familie geführt, die sich sehr persönlich um die Bedürfnisse der Gäste kümmert und bei Ausflügen Hilfestellung gibt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker beim Frühstück und Restaurant. Wer einen ruhigen Ort etwas abseits der Stadt sucht ist hier richtig. Wir hatten das große Familienzimmer für drei Personen mit gemütlicher aber moderner Einrichtung aus Holz und mit außerordentlichem Blick auf die Landschaft. Der Shuttle zum Flughafen Guilin wurde von den Hotelbesitzern organisiert.

Guilin weather is totally unpredictable. Rain, sun, storm....so come be prepared with Umbrellas and adequate clothing.

In hotel ci siamo trovati molto bene. La titolare è molto professionale e cordiale e offre un positivo connubio tra la tradizione cinese e un servizio internazionale. Ma la vera rivelazione è Jiajia che si occupa dei tour privati. Giovane, simpatico e impeccabile autista. Se soggiornate qui vi consigliamo di chiedere di lui.

Non è previsto un cambio asciugamani. La stanza non viene rassettata.

Michelle and the staff went above and beyond and assisted us with events and transport, and they made sure we had a great time. Everything was accessible and operational, amazing view, great vibe.

One of the best hotels i’ve ever stayed in - modern rooms, perfect location close to the city by Didi/bike but away from the noise. Michelle is unbelievably helpful and will book attractions for you. Can’t recommend enough!

А также для досуга в отеле предоставляется бесплатно велосипед и/или мопед(ы) - места вокруг живописные, движение не очень активное, так что катались с удовольствием. Отдельно отмечу историю последнего дня: при выезде мы забыли одну вещь в отеле, Мишель её нашла, написала об этом и подвезла её в аэропорт, чтобы отдать. Все люди в этом отеле максимально добрые и поддерживающие, общение с ними было удовольствием, а общаться было легко, так как они владеют английским.

Location wise, perfect. The ambiece of the inn is excellent especially the staff. I am happy Michelle, the owner communicated to me through Whatsapp ahead of my arrival. It is a family team with her brother Su and sister Xiao lan. Food is great and my room has the panoramic view of Guilin hills (as I intended). Super amazing service and facilities. With Michelle helping me with my unplanned tour for the next day. Truly recommended place. There is a lagoon or creek you can walk around and the view is stunning, day and night. They also offer body massage at affordable rates. The beer is very cheaper yet tastes great. Breakfast has 2 choices, the Chinese menu and international taste. I never had problem with payments. Visa card is accepted. Still I downloaded WeChat App for everyday use (linked to my bank) which is convenient for everyday pay wherever you go, small and big enterprises alike. For shorter than 3 day stay you can arrange with Michelle a taxi at the airport to pick you up for 100Chinese Yuan. It is nice to stay in a hotel that has your full attention and love and care. Let alone even a little English the staff can communicate.

There is nothing negative about this place nir about my stay. I recommend everyone to STAY at this Inn.

I like the interaction with Michelle, the owner, she replied to all my questions and concerns before arrival, very friendly and she is a business owner. There's two set breakfast meals only, there's some orange juice and lemon water and coffee made by the staff. I didn't tried the lunch menus because I've been out every day but I had evening meals 3-4 times which were delicious

Beautiful place that makes you feel you're at home rather than in a hotel. Michelle is an amazing host always available to arrange anything for you. She helped me not only organize trips and taxis, but also get a local sim card in the middle of a bank holiday! The cuisine us delicious, rooms very clean. The location is beautiful, but you need a bike, scooter or a taxi to go downtown. But bikes and scooters are available free of charge!

Michelle and the rest of the staff at the Village Creek Inn really made the stay in Guilin so much better. They helped us with our day trips, showed us the local area and even helped one of us when we were feeling unwell. The location of this inn is a little out of the way but suited us fine as we could get taxis/the hotel driver to drop us off at the ports and train station really easily and the area was really quiet and homely with amazing views. The rooms were very clean and spacious and we ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner every day of our stay and we're very satisfied with their vegetarian options.

This really is the most lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night before our Li River cruise but Michelle and her sister and brother were so welcoming. Our room was just lovely, so homely and the bed was really comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel and the hand made spring rolls were the best we’ve had in China. Beautiful location to walk along the river.

I really like staying here: spacious, clean, comfortable room with a great view; breakfast is good; It’s a family run business and every is very kind and super helpful. I’d definitely stay again!

Michelle and the team bring a lot of joy and energy with a very personal approach. The location was tranquil, we could use the very good bicycles from the accommodation and they offered a fun dumpling making class which was interesting and delicious! The team also helped us arrange day trips from the location. It was somewhat located from the city center by taxi or bike but they had everything we needed with home cooked meals and a nice view from the room.

Me and my family stayed here for 3 nights and this was our favourite hotel of our 3 week trip! The views from this hotel are incredible and we had such a lovely experience. Michelle let us check in early as it was low season and we were so grateful after doing a sleeper train with our toddler. Michelle and the team were so friendly and great with our toddler! They had a little play area that he loved in the hotel and we ate dinner here must nights after being out all day. Also the Reed flute caves are about a 10 minute walk away (not even that) and the hotel sorted out so many things for us to do. PS - If you have dinner here, you MUST have the spring rolls, they were the best in China!

We had a very pleasant stay for three nights. The staff, two sisters, were very helpful with advice for places to visit but also with the use of some Chinese apps. We were upgraded as it was low season to a karge room. They also run a restaurant and you can get a drink (beer/wine/non-alcohol)

The Village Creek Inn was the ideal location for my stay as it provided a quiet and scenic environment. I thoroughly enjoyed the views of the mountains from my room and the walking paths around the village and the pond. The room was very spacious, clean and rustic. The bed was quite comfortable. All the meals were very delicious and fresh to the taste, especially the seasonal fruit. I really enjoyed the Guilin noodle dishes!

Despite the language barriers, I particularly appreciate the staff who was friendly and helpful in arranging pickup and extra your activities, which within them it would be impossible. The accomodation is outside Gulin’s city centre, just a 15 minutes Didi’a drive. I’ve appreciated the peaceful environment and the rural atmosphere outside the hotel. Room was very spacious with great view on the iconic mountains of Guilin. Breakfast was ok.

Posto stupendo e tranquillo a pochi minuti dal centro della città. Possibilità di cenare li al ristorante con piatti eccezionali e buonissimi un poco più vicini ai gusti occidentali. Possibilità di prendere delle bici anche col seggiolino per bambini per andare lungo la ciclabile sul fiume. A pochi minuti anche dalle grotte dei flauti. Personale eccellente, inclusa Michelle che tra l'altro parla perfettamente l'inglese. Oltre le tre notti è anche incluso il trasporto dalla stazione all'Hotel. Veramente da consigliare!

Perhaps a little more detail about the many options for tourists locally. We missed the caves unfortunately because we didn't realise how time-consuming the visit would be.

Guilin village creek is an amazingly friendly and cozy place to stay. It's situated in a tiny quiet town and the inside feels like a Swiss cottage. Michelle and her team were extremely welcoming. With tea and fruit on arrival, always there to help out with booking trips, giving dumpling workshops, guiding us around on the local market, making delicious meals, providing us with meds when our son got sick one night. And much more. The room was cozy and cleaned every day. It was winter when we were there, but the heating system made it nice and comfortable. The meals in the restaurant downstairs are fresh and made with a lot of love. And we could even borrow the owners bikes with kids seats for free, with which we made some amazing bike rides through the area. You're half an hour bike ride away from the city. And with a taxi (very cheap) you can reach several interesting places in the bigger area.

Apart from the owner who speaks good English, the rest of the staff doesn't master much English. That sometimes led to some misunderstandings with ordering food. But they definitely tried their best. And a translate app helps you out, but costs some effort. The balcony is not fully private, since the staff sometimes need to pass over, so you gotta keep your curtains closed for some privacy.
