Yu Stay Lux and Cozy 2Bedrs in Soho Residence near Bui Vien walking street

This is our 2nd time back here. Love the location and convenience of where it is, walking distance to Bui vien.... And also it being a 2bedroom that fits what we want, it has a washing machine!! Vaule for money

Location and ease of check in and out

Liked everything

저는 동생을 위해 객실을 예약했습니다. 동생은 매우 만족했고, 특히 주인분의 열정적인 응대에 매우 만족해했습니다. 다음 출장 때 다시 방문할 예정입니다.

No

We didn't even get into it we came all the way from Perth Australia was in a taxi about 5mins away then they cancelled on us we was so disappointed wouldn't ever go to them again

Very bad

Great location.

Paid WiFi.

The location was great walking distance to many sites and food places. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. He contacted us as soon as we got there and also we were able to get in early and also he allowed us time to leave a little later. He gave us the largest 2 bedroom for our stay, and we appreciated his thoughtfulness.

There is construction on one side of the apartment. Although this cannot be helped.

We made the worst mistake ever in our history travelling booking this place Yu Stay Lux and Cozt 2Bedrs at Soho Residence. Our reservation waa confirmed. No prepayment was requested at the time of booking. We reached the property to check in after a long tiring day of flying to Ho Chi Minh only to be told that the reservation is cancelled by the host. The attitude of the host was appalling and all comms via whatsapp and not in person, leaving us rushing to find an alternative accomodation as it was late in the evening.

Didnt like anything about this booking. Worst experience, appalling attitude from host.

The location. 10-15 minutes walk to the places of interest/tourist attractions such as Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Square, Saigon Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral Basillica of Saigon, Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum

Nothing

Central and good location

The facilities were poor. No hand towels, no foot towels. The shower flooded the bathroom daily. The beds although double were small. We thought we were be broken into. At 3am in the morning we had a drunk guy trying to get into our room.We had to push him out. The host asked to be paid in cash and said the card machine needed updating

Nulla

Very clean apartment with all the nessecary appliances including washing machine.

It is abit far from public transportation. Need to walk 400 to 500m out to main road. The owner should have told us in advance only cash payment is accepted as we didn't prepare for that and need to go to nearest atm (500m) to withdraw cash.

Just the location.

Everything as the host Yu Fee was making the stay very intimidating and did not care to reply to my messages or my requests. Very arrogant and disrespectful!

Property was modern and newly renovated .

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Despite being only 10 minutes walk to Bui Vien, the area felt very local and not touristy at all. There are street food places, a convenience store, cafes and laundries all within 5 minutes walk. The host is extremely responsive on WhatsApp, and always ready to help.

You can't throw toilet paper down the loo, so you must master the spray bidet. This is a noble Asian art, though, worth your learning. Also, during my stay, there was a rather noisy construction project going on next door. It wasn't constant noise, but it seemed to suddenly spike up at crazy random times night and day. However, with the windows closed, it wasn't too bad - must be really thick glass. Nothing that couldn't be alleviated by putting a little music on. Vietnam just is noisy anyway, so if you're going to go there, get used to it.

This is a great location. Accessible to a lot of local food.

Elevator can take a long time.

The property is the same as what you see on the photos. Very cozy and homey, perfect for families or even couples. The owner was very accomodating and was easy to communicate with. Good location and good value for money.

It’s amazing! It’s very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely book this place again!

Everything. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The location is very good. It is close to almost everything. Very accessible.

Good hotel to stay with the family

Clean, comfortable modern apartment with a nice view of the city, and located centrally for access to museums, bars and restaurants. The owner was very responsive and helpful with our requests, providing and extra bed and bag storage after checkout.

Pretty apartment and nice host

I stayed at this place for two nights, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Bad Points: • Very dirty – The cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. • Stained bed linens and towels – The bedsheets, towels, and even the couch had visible stains. • Ants everywhere, especially in the bathroom. • Limited towels – We were two people staying for two nights, yet we only received two bath towels. • No toilet paper was provided. • Moldy and stained toilet seat – Honestly, a toilet seat is not expensive to replace, yet this one was in a terrible state. • Poor maintenance – The design of the place is actually beautiful, and I’m sure it was once a great accommodation when it was first built. However, it has been neglected over time, with no renovations or proper upkeep. • If you care about cleanliness, you will feel uncomfortable sitting on the couch, using the bed, or even stepping into the bathroom. Good Points: • Great central location, close to everything and in a safe area. • Nice design, at least originally. • Smart TV with Netflix, air conditioning – convenient for a short stay. • Self check-in – easy and hassle-free. • Responsive support – customer service was available when needed. Overall, the location and design are good, but the lack of cleanliness and maintenance make the stay uncomfortable. If hygiene is a priority for you, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It was very close to the city centre with good access to all the areas that I wanted to visit

None

Great service. Very attentive and helpful. Great hosts. Good location too

Turned up after long flight from NZ, waited ages for someone to turn up and was told they had overbooked our accommodation and there was no room for us. Later they said the bed was broken.

Easy to find places to eat

Nothing

The apartment was very clean, safe and convenient. It is close to convenience stores, restaurants and wet markets. The host is super friendly and responsive and makes best efforts to make our stay satisfactory and enjoyable.

N/A

It’s very comfortable, clean.

Nothing.

Nobody was available to check us in.

After confirmation the host didn't show up to check us in. Very unprofessional.

Second year staying at this location, the host was super great in communicating and even booked me a driver to pick me up at the airport House was clean and perfect location to everything local and even bui vien Safe neighbourhood

Nothing

Nice apartment, great communication and easy to access. Shops and restaurants close by easy to get a good meal.

The view, wifi and location

-The location was perfect for most things you need in Saigon. Walking distance or take a grab. -Didn't ask but the host messaged me on WhatsApp to notify of a 24hr store around the corner which was perfect. -We utilised the hotel transfer, 3rd party but payment is made together when settling the accomodation -All rooms have an AC (main room, 2x bedrooms) The view was beautiful. Spacious apartment for 3 adults + baby) 2 adults & 6m baby squished onto the bed but we made it. There was plenty of pillows so I was able to make a pillow wall on the bed for baby safety. The fridge was large & allowed us to purchase drinks & Ice cream. -Communication with host was always prompt and easy. We would love to return here one day.

The only issue we had was the keycard. We got through the door every time so we didn't need to contact the host but it got frustrating having to do it multiple times. Every time we'd try to unlock the door from the outside, we'd have to do it 3-5 times. It's a keycard/PIN code lock style door.

It's very clean and very near to everything. You just take a walk to a convenient store and market. Very easy check in and the owner Yu is very helpful

None

This is a well described , well maintained property. The host was super accommodating and nothing was a problem. An enjoyable stay all round.

The building project wasn't exactly a green park to look at, but. No ones got any control over that, right?

Closer to everything. Friendly staff and 24 hours security. The property was brand new . We were the first occupants. Thank you very much.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

I made several requests for the booking and the owner was very helpful! The place was very comfortable and clean. The size was nice for a small group

We were greeted by a polite, helpful host who provided answers and solutions to all of our questions. The apartment is cultured, well-equipped and clean, all attractions are easily accessible. I recommend it with pleasure and satisfaction, it was a perfect choice for us as well.

Loved our stay here. The view from our room was amazing. Close to great food options. Mr Fee was always reachable for anything we needed. Great experience.

Nothing.

Good location away from the main traffic. Owner/Manager very helpful. Comfy beds.

Needs to be cleaned better.

Location was great. Check in and out procedure was fuss free. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Nothing much

We had a very nice and comfortable stay during our holiday! The unit is very elegant, clean and has a complete utensils to celebrate new year! The host, Mr.Fee is very welcoming, approachable and helped us a lot during our stay. The location is very accessible. Surely we will come back to stay here and visit Vietnam.😊😊

It was spacious and fit our family of 5. It also has a washing machine on the balcony. The building is managed by security and apartment is up high but faces an in progress construction block. There’s a lot of construction in HCMC throughout the day and night. The location is more suited to younger adults as close to Bui Vien walking street.

It’s like an airbnb and there is no daily servicing of the apartment, only once every 4 days. The actual building is very clean but once you step out of the building perimeter, the surrounds are typical of bustling HCMC with street vendors, restaurants, traffic etc. Street pavement is taken up by motorbike parking and sometimes driving so pedestrians are forced to walk on the road alongside the cars/motorbikes and rubbish on side of the road.

Super nice host. Reply fast when we need help. The house was clean and well equipped. The location was great. There was lots nice foods just around the corner. Sure will come back to stay if we come visit HCM city again.

So far it's perfect!! Except the smell of laundry freshener is too strong for the pillow case.

Nothing

The construction noise from 6am - 11pm every day even on weekends. Mr Fee told me there was no construction noise.. he lied to us. Mr Fee who barged into our apartment at 10pm on a Saturday night using his own code trying to get payment from us without actually arranging a time for us to meet. Also not telling me that I had to pay on arrival, I thought booking.com took the payment. And as we arrived at 11pm we didn’t meet Mr Fee therefore didn’t know payment was needed. Location isn’t great. Apart from Phin deli downstairs for coffee there’s not much around. Shower water pressure isn’t good.

Great location. , awesome place to stay I will stay here again on.my next trip ...

It was spacious for a family of 5. Very clean and tidy. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. If there was a problem they would fix it right away and always be on top of how we were. Could not fault a thing. We enjoyed of stay very Much.

I booked a 7-night stay for my family, but guess what? On the very first night, we got the surprise news that we had to switch rooms. Can you believe it? Imagine telling your family to hold off on unpacking because we're on the move! But hey, things happen, right? We rolled with it, and we were just happy to be soaking in the Saigon vibes. The first new apartment turned out to be pretty cool – fast wifi and all the goodies. Now, the day we had to switch was a bit of a blur. Lunch took longer than expected, and when we finally got back, lo and behold, all our stuff magically moved to the new place! Overall, our stay was awesome, thanks to the spot-on location and our host who was on top of things. We're definitely up for another round, but next time, maybe we'll scout out a newer apartment for the full experience!

Really nice and homely, location possibly one of the best in Ho Chi Minh as you’re in an area with food made for locals but close enough to the centre of Q1 where it’s still fun! Easy check in and check out experience and great rooms. The host is also a super reasonable guy and responds promptly. We will probably be using his properties again next time we come to Vietnam!

clean and cozy

nothing at all

Very central location. Close to Bui Vien. Very good café on the ground floor. Shops nearby. The icing on the cake was the owner who helped me in all the problems that arose.. It was really helpful. Thanks for your stay. And let's not forget, the apartment has a fantastic vieew.

Everything was ok

Great location, extremely convenient to downtown attractions and shopping. The room is designed to be cozy and fully equipped. You can cook and do laundry right inside the apartment. In particular, the host is very friendly and helpful, he was very kind to help us with many things. I will definitely come back here next time, recommend this really good host to everyone

Nothing

Good location and price, but the place is small. Cozy is accurate. The kitchen range didn't work and neither did the laundry machine. Check in was easy and it was fine for a place to sleep. From other reviews it seems like it depends on the place you get. We were on the 9th floor

Kitchen range didn't work, too few towels, and washer didn't work. Smaller than we thought.

Good location , comfortable stay and host was friendly

The stand out for us was the attentiveness of our wonderful host, Nguyên. Super fast response rate!!! We were given a smaller apartment for 5 people and the couch was not suitable for sleeping for the 5th person. However Nguyên made every effort to help us with an extra mattress, extra beddings and towels. The next day we were moved to a bigger apparent, Nguyên and the team actually moved all of our belongings to the new apartment while we were out (with prior agreement with us of course). Location was good with plenty of places for food. Also grab cars are always a couple minutes away at cheap pricing so getting around was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to Hochiminh City.

We booked for 5 people but there were only 2 towels given initially so we had to ask for more. That said, Nguyên sorted that out for us pretty quickly. The bathroom ceiling of the first apartment has a big hole in it.

The apartment was Nice and clean.

The view from 25th floor was direct into a construction site blocking the view over the city. The beds are very hard. Very very hard.. some loose handels and hangers.

The place was at centre and easy to move around. The host was very helpful. The apartment was very clean.

This place is a tranquil haven to return to after busy days out exploring the city. It is very close to Bui Vien walking street and lots of restaurants and bars, as well as having local street food and convenience stores nearby. The host is very responsive to any queries, and we were able to store our luggage in the lobby before check-in. He also let us extend our stay because we loved the city and apartment so much. It has a well equipped kitchen, a great sofa and TV, comfortable beds, a good shower and aircon, and the washing machine was a bonus, too.

Nothing :)

Great location With fantastic cafe down stairs

The host was great! Helpful , knowledgeable and professional. With a very good service mind. The kitchen was well equipped, even though we ended up not using those facilities, as the food offering in the area (within 10 minutes walk) was good and we decided not to do any cooking.

The apartment was not as cozy as on the pictures, but I guess it depends on which apartment that is allocated to you. Also, the neighbour building is a construction site, so even though the sound isolation works pretty well, you could hear the construction site in the morning, even on the weekend.

The property was very clean and modern.

The 2 bedroom unit we got was smaller than the other 2 bedroom units in the same property. It would have been better if the host could assign us the bigger unit that we requested.

we loved everything about the accommodation! Location, wifi was good, had netflix on TV and it had everything we needed for the trip. Beds were comfortable and the host was the best, he was so accommodating as we needed to check out a little later due to our flight and though we paid extra, it was so great and easy communication. Definitely 100% will come back and recommend to all family and friends. If you are looking for comfort, good price and convenience, please stay at this accommodation.

we loved everything

Very clean & functional, high floor 32nd. Quiet. Coffee shop in the house. Friendly contact . Everything went smoothly.

Very good location

The location of the apartment was good.

The communication with the owner was not very easy or friendly. It was only via WhatsApp with lack of friendliness. We booked and paid for 5 persons but there were beds and towels only for 4. Asking for the fifth, they treated us as if we were asking for "special service". First night the fifth person slept on a sofa, other nights on an extra bed but we couldn`t use the living room any more. Payment was also quite rude - the man we communicated with was institing in coming around and collecting the money an evening he didn`t plan in advance with us. So we had to adjust our plans to make it suit for him.

Such a great place to stay! Not super touristy, just out of the hustle and bustle. but walking distance to everything! The surrounding streets are so great to walk around and explore.

You may not get the actual apartment in the photos, but still a lovely place to stay :)

The location is convenient to most popular places. The unit is on the highest floor (34) so you will have a great view of the city.

Cozy and nice ambiance. Comfortable deco.

2 of the Aircon control not working Induction cooker not working. Only one bathroom

We were lucky enough to be on the top floor and had an amazing view of the city. The apartment was clean and tidy and perfect for our stopover.

Host,location is the best.

my experience was incredible! first off the host Khanh he did everything he can to make my stay the most amazing possible and recommended me places to eat which was 10/10. The property clean, spacious, well stock with everything you need to feel at home, location is located around really good food and close to bui vien & ben thanh. AirCon is very powerful. I don’t have anything bad to say truly Khanh was the best host since I got to Vietnam and it was a wonderful way to end my trip! I’ll be recommending my friends and other ppl who will travel to Vietnam to live there. WAY BETTER THAN LANDMARK

everything is well equiped and good
