Reviewed Feb 22, 2026The room was decorated so beautifully. Lovely personal touches around the room including a sign welcoming me. And the apartment smelled divine. It was spotlessly clean. And there was cleaning daily. The host was incredibly accommodating and communicated everything clearly. The reception staff were all so helpful. Absolutely wonderful stay!

They only supply you 1 bottle of water, a snack for 1 person and no chocolates on the bed if you only stay 1 night even if you are 2 people. I don't mind the snacks and stuff, but you have to stay more than 1 night to get a chocolate on your bed, really a silly thing. I also paid full price and expect the same privileges as a person staying 2 nights.

Figuring out the parking system and which entrance to use 1st time round, other than that absolutely nothing.

Only suggestion I have is to have 2 complimentary gifts instead of 1, as we were 2 people. Not a major thing, just a suggestion. Also the complimentary chocolates were old. We weren't aware that the pool area was closed due to renovations. We were quite keen to have the opportunity to sit by the pool and enjoy the sun. So that was a disappointment.

Hosts made sure there was a special touch of flower petals, the thought was something else. There was a packet of light snack and a drink. I love effort, so that as a winner for me.

The 16th floor was not available but was not communicated at reception.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2025We loved: The responsiveness of our host including how he accomodated a special request. The daily cleaning service is fantastic and felt like a spoil. Best and most comfortable bed I've slept in (other than my own😊) in ages. The super cleanliness and all the thoughtful extras like snacks etc. The apartment tasteful decor and everything it was fitted with. All new and in perfect condition. The location is perfect for a stay in the East of Pretoria. Close the a lot of shops and great restaurants. Easy walking distance. The stunning restaurant on the 16th floor. Do try it and book your table via the Dineplan app. Easy convenient free parking. We loved the peace and quiet. Will definitely book this place again.
The small uncomfortable flat pillows. It's an easy fix and not a big deal. Won't put me off another stay.

Reviewed May 17, 2025Amazing bed, real plants, daily servicing, snacks and water were left and a lovely garden view.
In no way a fault of the host, but the unit next door had very noisy guests after 10pm on a weeknight, and a guest screaming into her phone in the lift area, so Menlyn Maine apartments need to consider patrolling the passages after hours. I have found this several times in my recent stays.

The host was available prior to arrival to answering questions and my main concern was cleanliness which was met with exceptional service and quality. I didn't like the fact that they did not change our bedding and towels. We used the same towels and bedding for the whole weekend

We are small people. I couldn't get the disches, pans from the upper drawer in the cupboard. It is not easy if you are 75 to climb on a not stabile chair to get dishes out of the kitchen cupboard. Maybe a small kitchen stepladder would be easier. We had expected a coffee machine for coffee pods. I know you can't do anything about it but the noise of the construction activities were not very pleasant. We thought we would get some rest on Sunday, but they also started early on Sunday.
