Dream By The Sea

Absolutely wonderful! The house was set right on the ocean, with views of Faial Island, and beautiful sunsets every night from the patio. Well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, A/C throughout, and MANY special touches in each room. Nice to have laundry facilities (downstairs garage area) where the chickens and peacocks follow you around. The house is EXTREMELY comfortable, and the location is less than 5 minutes from airport, but you do not hear any aircraft noise. Onsite parking (big driveway) is perfect. Communication with host was great - before, during, and after our stay. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to other travelers.

Het huisje, de locatie, inrichting, voorzieningen, etc . Heel mooi knus huisje, je zou er zo kunnen wonen. Willen we ook.😉😁 Van alle, maar dan ook echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Keuken volledig uitgerust, badkamers (2) 1 met ligbad en de andere met een regen/massage douche. Bedenk het en het is er. Relaxed terras met heerlijke stoelen. Airco overal. En wat nog meer.........ontdek het zelf, zeker de moeite waard.

De bedden, die vond ik hard, laatste nacht op de bank gaan liggen. Maar harde bedden hebben ze hier overal op de Azoren , zijn in 5 accomodaties geweest en ze waren overal hard. Waarschijnlijk allemaal dezelfde leverancier.😬

L'emplacement était idéal, très proche de l'océan. Nos hôtes étaient très disponibles. L'équipement (cuisine / salles de bains, etc...) était très complet. La literie était de très bonne qualité et douce au toucher. La climatisation et les ventilateurs de plafonds dans les chambres étaient très appréciables durant cette chaude semaine de juillet. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse et la vue sur l'océan et l'ile de Faial. Les animaux des hôtes (paons, poules, coq et poussins) nous rendaient fréquemment visite et c'était génial. Nous avons trouvé cet endroit idyllique et nous y reviendrons certainement.

Die Lage war perfekt, unsere Gastgeber waren immer hilfsbereit, die Ausstattung war sehr gut, es war alles vorhanden und noch mehr. Der Ausblick übers Meer und unsere tierischen Nachbarn haben die Unterkunft für uns perfekt gemacht.

Pico island was our first stop for our travel to Azores with my 3 boys (ranging in age from 14 to 24 years old) and I am very happy we stayed at the Dream by the Sea. Such a wonderful property and such wonderful hosts. Pam, the owner, got in touch with us before our trip with welcome note and instructions. Beth and Michael, Pam's family, who live next door to the Dream by the Sea, welcomed us when we got to our destination to give us the keys, show us around and provide recommendations on the things to do. The house is very comfortable and roomy with all of us having enough space. The location is great, about 7 min easy drive from the ferry in Madalena (we got to Pico by ferry from Faial island) and I think it is even closer to Pico airport. It was easy to get around the island and have Dream by the Sea as a base. We had a welcome basket waiting for us in the kitchen, which was a nice bonus and treat after a day of traveling. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts before and during the stay. The property is fully equipped for a very comfortable stay, from comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, fully stacked kitchen, to wi-fi, AC and washer and dryer. The location is great, quiet and serene with roosters waking you in the morning and the ocean waves as a soundtrack. Pico mountain is on one side of the house and the ocean is on another. There is a natural pool within 5 min walk from the house and Stones restaurant which to according to my boys was in the two 3 of the restaurants we visited in Azores in 14 days. Within 7 min walk there is an Azores Wine Company winery and their restaurant with beautiful views of the coast. Within 10 min drive is town of Madalena, restaurants, grocery stores. From the deck of the property you can see Faial island and Sao Jorge island. I would absolutely recommend staying at the Dream by the Sea to friends and family and I would stay here again, as it does feel like a beautiful dream by the sea. Wonderful!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Dream by the Sea on Pico Island, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The location is an absolute dream—just a stone's throw from the airport, yet it feels completely secluded with breathtaking ocean views. You can literally walk right down to the shore from the property, which was a huge bonus for us. The house is also a perfect home base for exploring the island. We were able to get to all of our planned destinations with ease and were thrilled to discover it’s incredibly close to the renowned Azores Wine Company. What really set this stay apart, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, and their local insights were invaluable. They gave us excellent guidance on what to see and do and recommended some fantastic spots to enjoy local food. Their recommendations made our trip so much richer. For anyone looking for a perfect blend of convenience, beauty, and authentic hospitality, we highly recommend Dream by the Sea.

Alles war fantastisch! Die Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer, die liebevolle Ausstattung, die Lage und auch die sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Wir würden es jederzeit erneut buchen und auch wärmstens empfehlen.

oh there was so much we loved about this place. - the location right in front of the ocean is just stunning! view view view! - you`ll always eat with an ocean view: either on the spacious terrace outside or in the dining area inside - the hosts (living next door) are super friendly and helpful. our little one was allowed to feed their chicken and peacocks every day (thanks again!) - it is a full equipped house, where you can do cooking, laundry, whatever you need. - beds are comfortable - there was a welcome package with cookies, wine, cheese, water,... that we really loved and helped us a lot. thats a great sign of appreciation! thank you again.

True to its name, it is a lovely property right on the ocean. It is a nice quiet location set back from the road. The host Pamela and her family members who live next door, Beth and Mike, are very sweet and helpful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. There are ample towels, sheets, blankets. It truly makes you feel like you’re at home. I would highly recommend this location. And as a bonus, the neighbors own a bunch of animals including peacocks that you get to meet as they curiously roam around the property.

A wonderful retreat in a scenic and tranquil setting. The house is beautifully situated near Madalena, offering the perfect atmosphere to unwind and relax. It’s well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable short stay. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and thoughtful, even providing drinking water—something especially appreciated after a long flight.

Some parts of the house could benefit from renovation, but overall it remains in good condition and comfortable for a stay.

Dream by the Sea is een pareltje Het onthaal door de eigenares van dit huisje was perfect - vlotte communicatie op voorhand, heel vriendelijk en vlot vrouw, stond ons op straat al op te wachten, had een grote korf met allemaal welkomstgeschenkjes klaargezet, er was al wat drank in de ijskast,... Het huisje is van alles voorzien, heel gezellig ingericht, heel Amerikaans, hoge ontbijttafel, grote fridge, relaxstoel in het salon, mooi terras, uiteraard de zee vlakbij,..... Geen straatlawaai, Leuk restaurantje op wandelafstand, Stones,

De mening over de bedden was verdeeld: onze kinderen vonden ze zaaaalig, wij vonden ze teveel doorzakken

L’emplacement avec la vue incroyable sur la mer. C’était magnifique ! Un très bel endroit.

L acceuil etait incroyable La propriétaire nous a accueilli les bras grands ouverts.. elle nous a présenté toutes les fonctionnalités de la maison. Un cadeau et de la nourriture ! Il y avait tout ! La décoration est incroyable Le linge etait parfait Le mobilier également.. L accès rapide à pieds aux piscine naturelles ou les enfants se sont amusés avec tous les enfants du village. Les paon qui venait d avoir des bébés.. etc... La connexion internet et les équipement tv de partout. A notre départ elle nous a donné des cadeaux supplémentaires en souvenir de la maison !

La seule chose qui nous a dérangé est le lit qui est un peu trop mou à notre goût.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man hat alles, was man braucht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und der Blick auf das Meer ist atemberaubend. Eine Badestelle ist auch zu Fuß zu erreichen, neben dem Restaurant „Stones“, wo wir unser Essen auf heißen Steinen selbst zubereitet haben. Dream by the Sea ist ein wirklich toller Ort für einen Urlaub.

Das Haus hat eine geniale, ruhige Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht direkt am Atlantik und auf den höchsten Berg von Portugal. Die komplette Ausstattung lässt keinen Wunsch offen, es gibt einfach alles und noch viel mehr… Die sehr sympathischen und freundlichen Vermieter wohnen nebenan. Die zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer sowie die großzügige Küche mit Innen-Essplatz und Wohnzimmer waren optimal für meinen Aufenthalt mit meiner Schülerin, sodass jeder auch seinen Rückzugsort hatte. Auf der großzügigen, wunderbaren Terrasse ist man geschützt und hat einen Blick in grüne Bäume, Lava-Gestein und Atlantik und auf die Nachbar-Inseln Faial und São Jorge. Man kann sogar Delphine beobachten von der Terrasse aus! Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Haus ist auch optimal für Familien.

Beautiful seaside home and ideal location. 15 minute car ride from the islands main town and airport. Beth and Manny were extremely helpful and live next door. The house is well equipped and provided excellent comfort for our family. You can hear the ocean waves from all angles of the house and has a beautiful view of Pico Mountain from the front yard. Sunsets from patio overlooking the ocean were stunning. We also received a beautiful basket of Azorean goodies to start our stay. Just breathtaking. Thank you!

Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Alle Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet. Es war viel Stauraum vorhanden.Waschmaschine und Trockner waren auch vor Ort. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer war super. Das Rauschen des Meeres war immer zu hören. Am Morgen den Sonnenaufgang am Meer abzuwarten, war immer ein Highlight 😍 Danke an Pamela, Beth und Michael🙏

Wir hatten einen wundervollen 5-tägigen Aufenthalt im Dream by the Sea und denken sehr gern an die schöne Zeit dort zurück. Das Haus bot reichlich Platz für unsere Familie, die Zimmer waren liebevoll individuell gestaltet; es waren sämtliche Haushaltsgegenstände vorhanden, um sich vor Ort bestens selbst versorgen zu können - wir waren abends tatsächlich nur ein einziges Mal auswärts essen, da wir so gerne den wundervollen Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer genossen haben (Sonnenuntergänge ebenso wie Sternenhimmel, wir hatten hervorragendes Sommerwetter). Das Einschlafen und Aufwachen mit dem Rauschen der Wellen war märchenhaft. Pamela hat uns schon vorab sehr freundlich online begrüßt, erste Hintergrundinformationen gegeben und die Anreisezeit abgestimmt, ihr Neffe Michael und seine Frau Beth haben uns dann vor Ort sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und spätere Fragen äußerst zeitnah und hilfreich beantwortet. Von der Hausfront aus konnten wir immer einen ersten Eindruck auf die aktuellen Wetterverhältnisse auf dem Pico gewinnen - in Vorfreude auf unsere Pico-Besteigung. Nach ereignisreichen Tagen unterwegs auf der Insel haben wir uns abends immer gefreut, in die Idylle unseres Dream by the Sea zurückzukehren. Wir können den Aufenthalt dort nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Situación. Tranquilidad . Todo bien preparado , piensan hasta el último detalle para estés cómodo. En medio la naturaleza, ruido de las olas, pájaros , etc. Muy relajante.
