Horizon Ipoh 8Pax 3R2B - Tropical Bali Retreat

Heerlijk appartement waar we 2 nachten zijn verbleven na enkele dagen in de jungle. Even bijkomen met een prachtig uitzicht, 3 goede slaapkamers met goede bedden. Luxe badkamers en een wasmachine. Precies conform verwachting. Fijne communicatie met eigenaresse. De auto mooi veilig in de parkeergarage, want ter plekke ons met Grab laten ophalen (pick up plek voor appartement). Het zwembad op het dak - appartement is op 21e verdieping, zwembad op 22e - was prachtig en ideaal: je kan gewoon even de trap nemen i.p.v. wachten op een lift. Het water echter wat troebel, dat ook aangegeven bij eigenaresse. We voelden ons erg veilig in het gebouw.

Zie hierboven genoemd: kwaliteit van het zwembadwater. Heeft ons niet weerhouden om te zwemmen en hebben er ook geen last van gehad. Maar helderder water oogt wel prettiger ;)

Die Lage ist sehr gut, es gibt einen Supermarkt und ein gutes 24/7-Restaurant direkt vor dem Gebäude. Tolle Aussicht vom Rooftop-Pool. Die Schlafmöglichkeiten für 6 Personen sind gut, für 8 jedoch nicht, da die Futon-Matratzen sehr unbequem sind und in den Schlafzimmern kein Platz dafür ist.

Der Pool war etwas dreckig, was den Kindern egal war, wir Erwachsenen sind jedoch nicht ins Wasser gegangen. Die Futon-Matratzen sind sehr unbequem und passen kaum in die Schlafzimmer. Die Kommunikation könnte kompakter sein.

Een heerlijk appartement met een fantastisch zwembad. Fijne bedden en heerlijke douche op een rustige locatie. Met de grab ben je overal snel. Concubine lane is op loopafstand (40 mjnuten) en echt de moeite waard. Met de grab ben je er nog sneller. Er is een supermarkt (KK) zeer dichtbij. En de eigenaresse is super behulpzaam. We mochten eerder inchecken dus onze kids helemaal blij want konden meteen lekker zwemmen.

Nice clean place with plenty of halal food options nearby. Hand wash provided, and enough toilet paper to last our entire stay. Great for families and larger groups. Recommend staying here if you are in Ipoh. Lovely host who was attentive to our needs.

I would suggest the frying pan is updated to a new one as frying eggs were difficult as the pan was distorted in the middle.

Feels like home. The place was incredibly clean, neat, and beautifully decorated.Super comfortable stay. The beds were comfy and the amenities were great. Spotless and spacious. We loved the quiet environment and excellent facilities.

We lived the location and closeness to the cave temples. The fact that we were in a high floor apartment meant that we could see the city from an elevated view.

There was no dryer for clothes and clothes rack was broken and could barely be used but i I was staying for short time so did not complain.

The vibes feeling like a five star hotel. I like how the host very helpful with everything. They clearly well prepared. From the check in, until check out, the instruction they given were so clear. The facilities all super convenient.

Maybe can prepare some tissue in the house. And some nice scent.

Nice view of Ipoh town with beautiful hills all around. Fully equipped with everything you need. Super cosy — really feels like home.

Just a small note: could use an air freshener as there’s a slight bean sprout smell in the unit. Also, the driveway to the parking space is quite narrow, so a bit tricky to maneuver.

The house was very clean & tidy and the host was incredibly friendly & helpful .The location was good to exploring the city , the kitchen was well - equipped , clean & tidy . I especially loved the living room , warm , relax . Loved the balcony with flowers . Dining room was great too. The room was comfortable , clean . The washroom clean & tidy . I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting IPOH .

There should have been a proper standard of SOPs, even with regard to starting up the water dispenser. There were drums being beaten in one of the units till late night. Lower unit had smokers at the balcony. Remote for one fan was missing, another had no batteries while those for the TV were partially corroded with lead coating. It was a bit stressful at the start, having to phone the agent. Worst of all, a couple of the lift floors were wet and my wife almost slipped. Driving up to the parking lots was a mission with narrow driveway- obvious from the markings on the sides!

Cute, clean and comfortable apartment on 21st floor with amazing view over Ipoh and free parking with a pool on the roof. Some really nice touches - cold water filter, first aid kit, lots of charging ports! What really stands out though is how helpful and responsive the owners are with seamless check in and support. I took my parents and this was the first time they had stayed in an airbnb and even they were impressed!

- The unit is in a strategic location with easy access to town. - Free parking is provided, which is convenient (do note that additional parking or failure to inform in advance may incur a charge of RM10 per night per car). - The unit was clean, WiFi worked well, and basic amenities such as body and hair shampoo were provided. - A water dispenser is also available, which was very convenient.

The property title on Booking.com was somewhat misleading. It is listed as “Horizon Ipoh 8Pax 3R2B – Tropical Bali Retreat”, but after booking, the owner requested full check-in details (including names and ages) and informed that the base rate only covers up to 6 guests. Additional guests are charged RM30 per person per night. This caused some confusion, as the title suggests the unit accommodates 8 pax. In addition, the soundproofing in the master bedroom is poor. Traffic noise was clearly audible despite the unit being on level 21. The bed in the master bedroom was also sinking on the left side, and the pillows were too low for my personal comfort.

We,ve stayed in a few hotels before in Malaysia and after having predominantly negative experiences there (missleading photos and ratings on booking.com), this one actually surpassed our expectations. It is located at the top flor and it really shows that the owner is taking good care of the property. It was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable, not to mention the fantastic views and to top it off a rooftop infinity pool. If we ever return to Ipoh this is the place we will stay at for sure.

Almost everything. The cleanliness was par excellence. Tastefully done up house that can easily accommodate 8 people comfortably. Well thought from utensils to blankets and mattress. They were of excellent quality. Beds were more comfortable than some hotels. Carefully and clearly listed instructions. Communications were clear, consice and prompt. Location is central and nice. Really, we are already planning our next visit just to stay here.

I’m still trying to find something. But truly, nothing to fault.

Maybe a shower curtain will help with preventing water seepage into the other parts of toilet floor.

Das Appartement war gemütlich eingerichtet und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und proaktiv. Der Ausblick vom Appartement war wunderschön. Wir liebten den Infinity Pool und die Aussicht von der obersten Etage. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Meine Familie und ich haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Wie empfehlen das Appartment zu 100% weiter. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

The apartment is new with modern decor & new furniture, all facilities are provided as stated. It is spacious for family of six and most of all it is very clean. The property is also near to restaurants and convenient stores

The apartment was tastefully decorated, and all amenities were of quality. It was also very clean, unlike some other properties that I have stayed at. Communication was efficient. The location was also good, and restaurants are very close by. I will surely come back again.

Only the elevator... they have 4, but 2 were not working.

The location was perfect easy to get anywhere we wanted to in Ipoh. The property itself was really clean, the balcony was small but perfect for a morning read and the host was very easy to communicate with. The kids loved the pool area and used it everyday. Also the beds were so comfortable even though my big boys had to share they still had enough space.

There was nothing we did not like about the property it was a real treat.

This is an absolutely wonderful guesthouse! The customer service is incredibly responsive—replies came almost instantly, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The environment is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, making it a truly relaxing stay. I brought four elderly family members with me, and they all loved it here. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking, including utensils and seasonings—very thoughtful. One of the highlights was the Coway water dispenser, which made it super convenient for the elderly to have hot water anytime without having to boil it repeatedly. So clean and user-friendly—we loved it! Overall, we had a fantastic experience. From the service to the facilities and the ambiance, everything showed great attention to detail. I’ll definitely come back again and will highly recommend this place to my friends and family. Absolutely loved it!

Located at the city center, the facility is clean and comfortable.

I recently stayed at this homestay and overall had a decent experience. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The air conditioner was positioned in a way that the wind blew directly onto the bed, which made it a bit uncomfortable during the night. It would be great if the airflow direction could be adjusted or if a deflector was installed. Additionally, I noticed that no toiletries were provided, which was a bit inconvenient. Including basic items like toothpaste and toothbrush would really enhance the guest experience. Despite these minor issues, the place was clean and the host was friendly. With a few small adjustments, this homestay could be even more comfortable for future guests.

The host is extremely helpful and responsive, they take very good care of their guests. The apartment is very clean and modern, it has all appliances needed for short and long stays. We would definitely stay here again and would 100% recommend it.

It was a very beautiful unit with subtle and thoughtful decorations. It was very clean as well. A convenient location to many famous places around 5-10 mins drive. Everything about this place is just great, will definitely be my number one priority to stay here in my future trips to Ipoh.

Our purpose for the visit is to visit our relative at the hospital. The homestay is near to our destination. The decoration of the house is refreshingly beautiful, neat and appropriate.

For Muslim guests like us, the animal dolls/figures are not appropriate. I think these are the decorative elements the host can do without. Also, Muslim guests would like to have praying mats to be provided in each bedroom,
