Room we were given was very run down. Carpet was dirty and looked like it had not been vacuumed before last guest Floor in bathroom was torn and ripped and started to tear Vanity was beat up looking and chipping paint Restaurant directly between hotel and water. Hotel noise and smell were bad. The pictures on website are misleading!

It was very quaint. Great location and was extremely convenient to the intercostal. We enjoyed sitting in the water for drinks as the sunset, and the breakfast at the Mermaid Cafe was prefect.

We liked the ambiance and the location. The lobby was very nice. Coffee, tea and water were always available. The pool was an unexpected amenity which we enjoyed.

One of the lightbulbs was out in overhead fan light in our room. It was not replaced until the next day. There were instructions for a/c but not for the shower; we had difficulty figuring out how to get hot water in the shower.

We just loved this hotel. Full of charm, friendly and welcoming staff and a great restaurant.

The facility was super cute. Free breakfast was awesome and it was right next door at a cute cafe. The pool was very relaxing. Staff at cafe and hotel were extremely nice and helpful.

We stayed in a very small room. A bit too small for us, but our stay was still very nice. We were able to see some of the other rooms and they were very nice as well. Next time we go will pay a little extra for a larger room.

chambre trés jolie, les peignoirs, la lingette démaquillante en tissu microfibre, boisson chaude 24/24 trés apprécié ainsi que les cookies, belle emplacement, piscine trés sympa.

déception pour le déjeuner, un seul choix, minimaliste, on ne boit pas de café, refus de nous le changer pour un thé, dommage cela ne correspond pas avec le standing de l'hôtel... la propreté du balcon et des sanitaires pourraient être davantage aboutie !

The management did a great job of updating a historic hotel - terrific shower, lovely patios, beautifully landscaped and outfitted small pool, plenty of parking, with a spa and good restaurant right next door. The area was great for walking to restaurants, the beach (15 minutes), and over the bridge.

A small, boutique hotel needs an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

We loved the Hotel it was very quaint, clean and welcoming. The staff were also very nice. Breakfast was free next to the hotel and was really good. We also received a discount at the restaurant for dinner which was also wonderful!

Everything. My room was small but very clean and nice. Beautiful area. Close to the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants. The employees that I talked to, were very friendly.

There was nothing not to like

Het is een sfeervol hotel met prima ruime kamers. De bedden zijn super confortabel. Handdoeken voor het strand worden ter beschikking gesteld. De hele dag door kun je gratis loekjes en water krijgen in de lobby. Het ontbijt in naastgelegen eettentje is prima naar niet bijzonder. Locatie is prima, je loopt vanaf daar de straat uit naar allerlei restaurants of het strand. Ook gaaf dat je hier met de auto het strand op mag.

Wij hadden een kamer aan de kant van de straat waar veel verkeer langs komt, wat zeker in de avond vervelend is. Badkamer is klein en oud en oogt niet fris.

Loved the location. We arrived very early. The front desk was so welcoming. Took our number and called when the room was ready. Very quaint hotel. Rooms were a good size. Good pool area. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets and quilt were so soft.

I liked everything.

Private escape. Loved the balcony and the view. Visited the spa located at the property and loved every minute of it as well. Walked about half a mile to the beach, there are great restaurants, bars and hit up Zeno's Candy Store for DELICIOUS ice cream on the way back. The pool was clean and relaxing with plenty of space and enjoyed a cabana. The Mermaid Restaurant was good, they are known for their mimosas (they have a variety of flavors and even offer a flight of mimosas if you can't decide). I felt like I was somewhere in between a 4-star hotel stay and a historical site visit. Book it!

The waterfront restaurant guests can be a little noisy upon their departure.

Everything about the place was excellent. The staff was great especially a shout out to Tay. She goes over and above to make sure that you are comfortable and have all your needs met.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was all a great place to stay.

Our room was small but totally comfortable clean and decorated nicely Pretty lobby with a lovely boutique little touchs and conveniences made it wonderful restaurant was very nice and food exceptional!!

Wat een prachtig hotel! Het was een fijne aankomst na een lange reis vanuit Nederland. De kamer was erg schoon en fris en super mooi ingericht. En niet geheel onbelangrijk: de doucheproducten waren echt heerlijk. Personeel is ontspannen en vriendelijk en staan altijd voor je klaar als je iets nodig hebt. Lekker koffie bij de receptie te krijgen. Het zwembad is netjes en je kunt er ook fijn loungen als je niet wilt zwemmen. Het ontbijt bij de naastgelegen Mermaid Cafe is heerlijk!!! Wel erg druk (populaire plek) dus als je er wilt zitten kan het langer duren voor je aan de beurt bent. Het is het wel dubbel en dwars waard en de meiden die er werken zijn super lief. Vanuit het hotel veel dolfijnen gezien, een mooie verrassing! De locatie is super en je loopt zo het centrum in voor eten, een drankje en de winkels. Wij zouden zeker weer eens terugkomen!

Parking is a mess, there’s a good amount of noise in the room (from the hall and on the balcony/pool area)

The waiting room for my massage was noisy. Not the hotel's fault, but spa patrons should know that it's quiet time in the massage waiting room.

This hotel is a great value. It has lots of character but modern amenities. I loved having a patio overlooking the pool right off my room.

Hot water takes awhile

John at the desk was an example of great hospitality service, hearing us and offering support like the fridge for our leftovers, offering chilled wine when we asked about a bottle on the shelf, recommendations for eating out. Also the bathroom remodel was great, very clean and comfy room. Actually the porch outside our room was an additional bonus we did not expect.

Super bien situé à quelques pas du centre ville. Beau bâtiment au style colonial, décoration soignée, chambre parfaite, propreté et gentillesse au rendez vous.

Le petit déjeuné à prendre dans l’établissement à côté. C était bon mais le service était revoir. Hyper long, boissons servies 20mn avant le plat, pas un sourire. C’est le point negatif pour l hôtel. Dommage.

It was a quiet location. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The balcony was nice, the breakfast was good, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The shower was difficult—not easy to get hot water. The room was very small. The hotel is old and tired. It could use some paint and updating.

Love being right on the river. Easy access to all that Flagler Avenue has to offer but in a nice quiet location.

The property is very cute and quaint and old-fashioned. The location is excellent.

The property is looking a little dated, i.e. I noticed rotting wood on the exterior, the windows were dirty, there was a brown stain on the comforter. The breakfast was delicious but on our second day it took 45 min. for it to be served.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön. Man merkt, dass es sich um ein historisches Gebäude handelt aber das macht den Charme aus. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und wir hatten einen großen Balkon mit Blick auf den River. Morgens haben wir sogar Delfine sehen können. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns sogar Musik am Pool angemacht. Die Lage ist klasse, nur die Straße runter befindet sich der Strand und es gibt zahlreiche Restaurants und auch Boutiquen. Das Frühstück bekommt man im Café nebenan. Man bringt einen Voucher mit zum Café wo man sich vorher für eine von fünf Speisen entscheidet, es war sehr lecker.

Es gab leider keine Minibar/Minifridge um ein paar Getränke oder Snacks für den Strand zu kühlen, aber das war in Ordnung, da wir es vorher wussten.

Our bed turned out to be a double rather than a queen but it was very comfortable. We made it work. Sink faucet was too close to shelf above it.

Stairs, stairs, stairs. This location is an antique. You must realize that when booking. The bathrooms are small and there is no elevator for those who have difficulty with stairs. But, the experience was still very good and I will definitely return.

Their rudeness when having to check out on an emergency! Had 3 nights booked & got call first night needed to come home my mother was in bad decline in hospice ! Lady was rude & would not offer 2 day refund ! Even had the nerve to ask me if I drank the bottle of wine in room that if I did I would owe for that as well ! Not caring at all - all about the money, no compassion !

Bel hôtel historique bien rénové, lit confortable, eau chaude avec bonne pression de la douche téléphone, frigo et congélateur possible à la réception . Piscine avec eau chaude et chaises longues, à environ un km de la mer, marche agréable sur rue commerciale jusque là.

Le dépôt ( environ moitié du total) exigé à partir de la réservation. Le resto déjeuner est très bon avec service assez rapide mais dans un édifice à côté, avec peu de place à l'intérieur donc à prévoir casquette et lunettes soleil pour les tables extérieures.

No elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor. Didn’t know this going in - my husband and I are seniors and he has mobility issues. It was a real struggle getting up and down, especially with luggage.
