Everything was very 6. Food, bed, location to beach and shopping.

Elevator near front entrance the floor felt unstable. My granddaughter was afraid to ride it.

Room had bed bugs, Facilities and room where a bit worn down or outdated. Pool was dirty. Elevators were down.

I liked how close it was to the beach

The rooms had a bad smell about them. The beds and sheets didn’t feel clean. Just overall disappointed in the value they charge and doesn’t seem to really equate properly. Pool deck was small, not enough space for the amount of people on the property.

It was an excellent location, right on the beach and close to shopping, restaurants and other retail stores.

AC leaked, power knocked out cable/internet for quite a while after a thunderstorm.

I like the fact that the hotel is right on the beach and on Flagler Avenue

My room was overlooking a garage. I paid over $300 a night and they tacked on an additional $20 a day to park my car in their garage.

Cold food sausage was in water to hanging out submerged all wet !Kids unattended running all over the place wasting food and spilling juice parents could care less .

We booked 2 months before and when I got there to check in they didn't give me the room I had booked and had payed for 2 months prior I was very upset and they said it was all booked up and couldn't change the room . That's not correct I paid for water front and I had a room in a completely different building looking at the trees and back of a building . Not cool at all .

Very nice, casual and laid back hotel with a clean pool and steps to the ocean. Outdoor tables, chairs and umbrellas by the pool and on patio. Down on the beach, you can rent beach chairs and a table and umbrella or you can just bring your own chairs. Hotel has a complimentary breakfast. Also has a full service bar and Starbucks for coffee/iced coffee or alcohol. Good selection of drinks when I was there. Very close to numerous restaurants and shops-within east walking distance for most. For more extensive groceries, they are about a mile from Publix. Hotel room had refrigerator (nice and cold) and microwave as well as a safe. Direct ocean view with balcony is what I booked. Rooms are cleaned every other day. Should you need anything in between, such as towels, soaps, etc the front desk staff is pleasant and will assist. You can also receive your pool/beach towels at the front desk for outside use. Everyone on staff I encountered was friendly and nice. I even got to check in early! I enjoyed a very nice, relaxing stay and definitely will plan on returning. The hotel was clean and well run.

The hotel was dated and dingy for the huge price you pay per day for a room. The included breakfast was just powdered eggs and no pastries. A bigger choice of foods for breakfast would be better.

Few rooms have balconies. The worst thing is the lobby floor is extremely slippery!

Rooms had the weirdest configuration, with a bathroom with a clear door right infant of your beds. They charge $20 a DAY to park there. The pillows are flat and it was huge disappointment compared to other Marriotts we stayed.The outside is rowdy, packed and loud. Definitely not worth the price. Staff is not very friendly, either.

They never cleaned the room once in 7 days. We talked to the front desk about the problem 3 times and they said. "They had to get the rooms ready for for people checking In first" and they would do it the next day, They told me that 3 different times on three different days. The trash cans were full on the floor and dirty towels etc. Paid extra for partial view of ocean, NOT we saw the parking lot ( if you could stick your neck out the window 3 feet yes you could see some Ocean. They said they had parking under the building we could park their, when we checked IN they charged us $20.00 per day when we checked out. Never told us their would be a charge, on top of the $3,000.00 we already paid for the room. The pool was very small, unbelievably crowded, chairs what a mess never cleaned up area . We paid for eight days and left after seven days we will never go back to a MARRIOT SPRING HILL SUITS AGAIN Overall a terrible experience! They need new management.

Every staff member was exceptionally friendly.

We have stayed in this hotel several times and continue to love staying there. The staff is extremely accomodating, the property is well kept, our room was spotless, and the free breakfast was great. Right on the beach to enjoy, and we did by sitting by the large pool and relaxed. Can't wait until we return, as you can park you car at the hotel, and walk to a large assortment of restaurants and stores.

The wife of the nan who developed the property played piano and entertained us. A nice couple. A very nice place with friendly people. The property is in walking distance to much of what New Smyrna beach has to offer.

I checked in from Thursday to Sunday at hotel. My only complaint is that housekeeping did not knock on the door once to offer to dispose of trash, provide clean towels or wash cloths. The pandemic has been over for several years now, but service has not. However, the price of rooms has increased since then. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Nothing to brag about.

This hotel is definitely one of our favorites. Went for an overnight trip with my husband. We were greeted by Annabel at the front desk. She was very pleasant and helpful and represents the hospitality of the hotel. Our room was very clean, very comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The beach was right outside the door, with a pool overlooking the beautiful ocean view. Breakfast was nicely done. Everything we needed was a short walk….restaurants, shops, etc. Didn’t have to use our car at all! Look forward to returning again soon!

The room got very warm during the night even with having the air conditioner on.

The facility shows its age and signs of deferred maintenance. The sheets and towels were very low quality. The comforter had its insulation in tiny clumps. The grab bar in the shower was loose.

The property was very friendly and the place was clean.

I got stuck in one of the elevators on the second floor. None of the buttons worked, not even the emergency one. If I didn't have my phone to call my husband, who contacted a maintenance guy, the young man in there and I would have been in there for a long time. I am clostrophobic and was close to panicking. I reported this to the young man behind the check-in desk. He said he would let the manager know. We were never contacted. The location of this hotel is great, but our room, 219, had a noisy air conditioner, and a lumpy bed. Sorry, the price of this room with a view of the parking lot, in addition to the elevator incident, would not make us want to return. Jeri Murphy

The location and ability to walk everywhere. You literally walk out the front onto the beach. Restaurants and shopping all walking distance. Very clean and staff extremely friendly. The rooms are very spacious.

There were a few "little" things such as, the room refrigerator is very small for an extended stay. The pool is not warm and the outdoor fireplaces do not work. There were ants in the closet.

It is a lovely hotel. Great location.

We have stayed here a few times, each time the front desk is very accommodating. The staff from breakfast, to coffee to bar is just a pleasure to be around. The housekeeping staff is very kind, rooms are spacious, view (when on a higher floor) is sooo relaxing. A firepit by the beach is just heavenly. We have an upcoming stay next week but had to write this review now b/c we are coming in this time for 2 rooms as a family of 8. This is the present for our family to celebrate the holidays together. The concierge/front desk person (woman) was so kind when speaking to me and helping with special requests, I cant wait to interact with your whole team for a blissful holiday. The coffee was not available after 9 am and I was disappointed of it .Many other hotel chains do offer a beverages station 24 hours.

Low lighting in the room, a pillow case smelt like a man's cologne so it didn't seem like they changed the pillow case as we had no men in our room...

The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lobby area was clean and provided a relaxing spot to enjoy breakfast or take a break. The beach is just steps from the door and absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room didn’t meet expectations—the bathroom and bedding had hair that wasn’t ours. Because of this, we chose not to leave a tip for housekeeping, which is unusual for us. Overall, we loved the location and hospitality, but we hope the hotel improves its room-cleaning standards.

Front desk check in clerk had no personality. Just by the book, was promised to come in for a balcony front room on beach and she said oh sorry sold out. I said he said there were plenty and just come early. We came early and oh well. So disappointed..

The hotel is very clean and pretty the ocean front room was a great view to the ocean perfect location near all the shops and restaurants they even held our bags so we could stay a little longer for the day

For the price we paid, feel maid service should have been daily, at least to make the beds and empty garbage. I applaud not changing towels daily (all about the environment and saving water). would have been fine with no sheet change or my entire stay. Toilet paper was pretty cheap!

Great 2 day stay at Springhill Suites. Our original plan was for one night but we loved the hotel, the location, the beach and our oceanfront room so much, we stayed an extra night. I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay at New Smyrna Beach. The hotel is right on Flagler avenue close to all shops and restaurants. This was a very memorable stay for us that we won’t forget.

I loved the location of this property. The poolside seating area was great! The indoor bar services was wonderful! We were able to check in early as well! Thank you!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. The only thing I wanted to ask was when will the building surface renovation be done…the orange marks have been there since May.

We had a great 2 day visit at New Smyrna's Springhill Suites. We love our ocean facing balcony suite. The location is wonderful - close to everything. Stuart, at the front desk, is such a nice young man. He made us feel very welcome when we checked in, & was just as nice when we checked out. My husband always loves getting a cappuccino at the bar. We will be back.

Fire alarm went off at 3:30 AM. Everyone had to leave there rooms. No one took charge kind of chaotic!! Sure could have been handled better

We were there for 1 night stay as my daughter was attending a softball camp in the area. The staff (from the front desk to housekeeping) were super friendly, the room was fantastic a nd the location of the property is second to none. Not to mention the beds were very comfortable and the room was very functional.
