The comfiest bed i think I have ever slept in; lovely cooked breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean.

Despite receiving an email to say bar snacks would be available to purchase in the bar, on arrival we were told that the kitchen is closed in the evening and so no food would be available.

Did not take onboard I was lactose and wheat intolerant so had to use my own bread and butter. There was no window to open - I do like being able to access fresh air.

Breakfast on the first day wasn’t great.. we waited a long time for a coffee which ended up coming after the food. The scrambled egg had so much black pepper in it that it tasted awful! The next day it was much better though.

Easy parking and electric charging. Lovely staff especially Matthew at the bar and Yulia looking after us at breakfast. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely bathroom. We were able to easily access our golfing venues and loved our stay. Easy Uber to St Anne’s and Lytham for evening meals. We had a great stay,thanks.

Unfortunately when we arrived reception told us that there was no food on the 1st night in the bar restaurant!.(no chef on a Wed) when we spoke with manager he was very obliging and booked us a table at The Villas another hotel in his group. We were given free complimentary drinks on arrival and a free bottle of wine. Thankyou to Mill Hotel and manager.

Room cleaning could have been a little cleaner if we're being picky but a lovely room with tea and coffee plus biscuits.

Really comfortable and great value for money.

The breakfasts were very good. Plenty of choice and the staff topped up the various containers when asked. The staff were very friendly. The location was ideal for us as we were attending the Ladies British Open golf. Plenty of parking. Very spacious rooms and lovely bathroom.

The only slight negative was that we couldn’t open the windows to get fresh air. The air con worked well but it was slightly noisy

Unusual location, but ideal setting to meet up with our grandson. Plus the next day to drop onto the motorway to head back home down south. The room was very comfortable and modern. Well equipped. We slept extremely well. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. We would definitely stay here again, and thoroughly recommend it to other visitors.

The only issue I had was the 2 steps down into the bedroom after entering the room. Only because I had recently broken my ankle, and wasn't expecting steps inside the bedroom. Next time we visit, it will not be an issue.

We like the location, plenty of parking, lovely rooms and a good breakfast.

Although we were paying guest when we went to the bar for drinks and food we were abruptly ushered out and told you can't come in, it's tickets only for football, it would have been helpful if we were emailed about this before we booked that we were not allowed to use the hotels facilities. The hotel was not full by any means so it seemed odd we were given a room directly above the bar where the football and music was on. It's a shame.

Only downside is that there is no food offering in the evenings. KFC, Starbucks and Burger King are close by but food in the bar would be better.

The room and hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful. However due to a refurbishment programme (which we were contacted about before our stay) the breakfast options were limited as no kitchen open till 12noon.

It can be noisy after the football depending on the room you get, but that doesn’t last long, I really can’t fault it.

Everything the hotel top to bottom Was luxury staff couldn't do enough for us amazing place everything was high standard possibly the best in Preston area. The cleaning staff was efficient the receptionist was polite and helpful breakfast stuff was attentive and friendly

The inner child in me wanted to use the swing door but it was broken. :( Hidden fees you make a booking but then get charged extra when arrive this should be in with initial price if its more charge more initially. Also I messaged through booking. Com and communicated with someone to make sure 3 sleeping spaces was available in room and nothing was ready poor receptionist had to run round and put beds in room etc

This was our 1st stay. All the staff at the hotel were lovely and helpful. The room was super and we loved the countryside view and waking up to a scene of baby lambs and Hares running across the fields. The room was well stocked with high quality tea, coffee, biscuits, fresh milk and still/sparkling water. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the Sports Bar. Breakfast was fantastic! The breakfast room was so beautiful and quiet.The quality of the food was excellent and the cooked breakfast was cooked so beautifully. We absolutely loved this hotel and will be returning.

The rooms are luxurious with amazing facilities. They are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for your stay.

Other than breakfast there wasn't any food served at the sports bar or Milano restaurant.

Room fine but tries to be more than it is. Breakfast was fine. Didn't take a cooked one. Was it included as part of my deal? Not clear in the documentation. Staff member on duty very pleasant.

No evening food available and no prior warning. Was aware immediately after booking that restaurant closed but bar food was meant to be available that we decided was ok. However, no good was actually available for the evening that we were stating. Not advised at check in until we asked about need to book - apparently chef had phoned in sick! For a "5* hotel" surely they should have a back up for this eventuality. Bathroom door had to be wedged shut otherwise it slid open while you were using it. Would suggest mirror in room too high for sitting drying your hair.

The size of the room was great, the bed was comfy and the shower was very pleasant. Breakfast was also good.

It’s was perfect in every sense, location, price, breakfast, cleanliness, the shower was amazing. The sports bar attached was great too. Staff were very accommodating, friendly and very helpful. The hotel was stunningly beautiful.

The hotel was lovely,clean and modern.staff were excellent,the room was very spacious and comfortable.the sports bar was very inviting and comfortable with a wide selection of drinks.

It stated that the restaurant was closed on the app but mentioned that the bar served bar meals. After looking on reviews we opted to book the room to have a meal there as it was my birthday treat. After checking in we went down for a meal to be told they were not doing food, which was very disappointing as that’s why we booked in the first place. We had to make do with a KFC as there is nothing else local.
