This place is dirty, unfriendly staff. I felt unsafe in the area. No plug in sink, aircon did not work, breakfast was toast and jam with no water. Shower had no hot water. Left after one day after no remedy from booking.com or property after discussed while staying.

I honestly didn’t like anything about it, I wanted to find a different hotel when I arrived and saw the room quality but I was pretty tired

Room isn’t as shown in picture, moldy walls, Moldy shower, room smells bad, bed was stiff, room has windows near the elevator and you can literally hear everything and anyone passing through which means people can hear us from the other side. I’ve documented photos, the photos on the booking.com seems brand new and clean but the room was actually very old and disgusting

the location was convenient, with jalan alor and many food options within a 5–10 minute walking distance. there were plenty of restaurants and street food stalls nearby.

for 340RM (~85USD) per night for an executive triple room, the overall experience was very disappointing. the hotel had a strong unpleasant odour throughout the corridors and room. the property looked old, run down, and poorly maintained. the bathroom had multiple issues, including a leaking tap, a toilet door that could not be locked, and drainage problems that caused unpleasant smells. cleanliness was a major concern as there were baby cockroaches in the room. basic amenities were lacking. no bottled water was provided in the room, and guests had to refill water from a dispenser near the lift area. only body wash was provided, with no shampoo or conditioner. the hotel does not have its own parking, so guests need to find street parking or pay for nearby private parking. soundproofing was extremely poor, and noise from neighbouring rooms and motorcycles outside made it difficult to sleep. i was disturbed by loud music from other guests early in the morning and traffic noise throughout the night. the mattress was uncomfortable and felt worn out, with noticeable sagging whenever i lay down. overall, the hotel did not provide the level of comfort, cleanliness, or value expected for the price paid. i would not recommend it to travellers or families who prioritise a clean and comfortable stay.

No water bottles in the room, no shower gel, no shampoo, kept a small bar of soap and until I asked, the housekeeping did not kept another one at the time of room cleaning.

Checked In. 1st room assigned hasnt been cleaned yet. 2nd room assigned got problem with the main door that can open halfway. Return back the room key to the front office get my security deposit back & booked other hotel. Point is, you get what you paid for.

When I tried to check in, I was told that my key was with someone else and that I was going to get a room that had been cleaned because there were cockroaches! I was told I would be refunded — I am still waiting for the refund link!

Room without a window. Never happened this before in a supposed to be a 3/4 stars hotel. The bed sheets are not clean.

The location is in a prime area with easy access to major spots, and most places are within walking distance.

Cleanliness was satisfactory, but the check-in process could be improved, as the staff appeared unprofessional when we presented our Booking.com reservation.

Bon rapport qualité/prix, le personnel est sympathique. L'emplacement est pratique à 2 pas de Jalan Alor pour mener le soir, le métro MRL ligne verte Bukit bintang ou Imli à 10 minutes à pied, le marché central et Jalan Petaling à 18 minutes à pied, un 7-eleven et KK juste à côté. Les chambres sont faits tous les jours et propres

The front desk staff were very friendly, soft-spoken and easy to deal with. The room was clean and spacious, and both the pillows and extra bed were comfortable. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

I rarely write bad reviews, but this time I have to do it. I hope that booking.com will pay attention to it and will take action. This was the first time that the fotos in the listing were so far away from the reality. I attach a couple of fotos. I booked deluxe room. I am realistic and never expect much. But even my expectations were too far from reality. I got very small place with crackles on the floor, on the wall, swollen flooring, table polish peeling off, so much noise from outside, that you start thinking that your window is open. Overall this room needs some maintenance. And a couple of words about breakfast. Only Asian / Malaysian food which is ok. Scarce choice, only one type of fruit (if you are lucky). The breakfast room itself if more like a cantine in the dormitory. This all looked completely different on the fotos. Travelers should pay attention and be prepared for dissappointment when they book this hotel.

The room was clean and had an adapter for the sockets, as they are not European style. The bathroom had disposable toothbrushes and a small bar of soap. The room was fine for one night. There is a water dispenser in the hallway, which is great.

Right in front of the window, in a street stall, loud music was playing until 3 a.m., so it's worth bringing earplugs with you.

The room was old and poorly maintained. The air conditioner was leaking water and not cooling properly. Noise from outside and other rooms made it difficult to rest. Staff service was not very attentive, and overall the hotel felt a bit pricey for the quality provided.

The floor was oily and dirty, and there were other issues. I don't know if it was the customers or staff who were opening and closing the door loudly many times during the night and into the morning, seriously disturbing the customers' sleep.

My family and I just wrapped up a great three-night stay at Kingston Hotel 8 in Bukit Bintang, KL. We picked this place because the location is prim, right in the middle of Bukit Bintang and the online reviews were excellent. And those reviews were totally right! From the moment we arrived, we got a friendly and attentive service from the reception team. Natasha at reception was fantastic, so friendly, quick, and efficient during check-in. We booked the Superior Quadruple room for four people, and it was spacious with all the basic facilities we needed: hot water, freezing cold AC, and good WiFi. The best part? They offered free flow mineral water via a dispenser, which was super convenient for a three-night stay! The housekeeping team was also top-notch. Our room was always meticulously clean, and they even changed the towels as per our request. We knew beforehand about the RM 50 deposit (which was informed on the website/OTA) and we got it back without any hassle upon check-out, where Najmudin helped us, he was also very friendly and helpful! I honestly highly recommend this hotel for its awesome location, good facilities, and amazing service. The manager is lucky to have such dedicated and cool staff!

Huge clean room and the Hotel is in a breath part of KL. Close to public transport, great food options and walking distance to PETRONAS and other places of interest.

The room was very noisy. Could hear everything in the neighbouring room as well as street noise was very loud. Also, the TV has a non Malaysian plug so we couldn't plug it in. It didn't bother us much as we were only there for 2 nights but if we were staying longer we would have asked for assistance.

The property is ok. The location is close to food market. Essentially at night the street is full of tourists and lots of hotels nearby,

The staff's behavior was very cordial, The location of the hotel was impressive and the bed was very comfortable, Checkin & checkout was very smooth. Its my 2nd visit & will visit again & again this property.Even tell my people to book here only.I stayed in the deluxe queen room so it fulfilled my expectations as it was big with a wide window.
