Love Citizen M, nice design, good location close to Jalan Alor, good breakfast and the most comfy huge bed. The tablet control of the room is also nice.

Thin walls. And a coffee maker would have been super.

Really good interior. Room was amazing, compact and sleek with a good view. Washrooms were clean. They come for room service daily as well.

La modernité de l’hôtel et son emplacement

Le personnel est au petits soins pour ses clients ! On a été tellement bien accueillis ! La chambre était superbe avec une tres belles vue et le lit carré permet de dormir dans tous les sens (c'est du génie!) La chambre est technologique, tout se contrôle avec l'ipad ! C'est super pratique ! Hôtel tres qualitatif et a 2 pas d'un night market pour les petites et grandes faims !

Tout était PARFAIT !

We stayed here recently and came away with mixed feelings — genuinely impressed by the design, less so by a few of the basics. The bed was seriously comfortable, and the room design is smart. Every inch is used well: the dustbin sits flush with the vanity, and the capsule bathroom is a neat solution for a compact space. Plugs are thoughtfully done too — 3-pin sockets with built-in USB, so no hunting for adapters. The smart room features were a nice touch and worked as they should.

That said, a few things let it down. The pillows were far too soft for our liking, and the blanket was small — when we asked for an extra, we were told none were available because the hotel was at full capacity. The heating was hard to control, swinging between too hot and too cold, which may also have been down to how full the hotel was in the mornings and evenings. Towel quality was poor, with fibres shedding onto our hair and skin. Soundproofing is the biggest weak point: traffic from the road was clearly audible through the night.

Só um detalhe a melhorar, após o banho a água do box acumula e molha a região do sanitário após o banho.

Ookal was de kamer aan de wat kleine kant, het bevatte alles wat we nodig hadden! De kamer is schoon, het bed lag heerlijk, en de locatie is dicht bij veel van de highlights van KL.

Het enige minpuntje was dat je door de wc heen moest om bij de douche te komen.

Location was great. Lounge downstairs was excellent. Above all what made the stay enjoyable was the staff. An outstanding staff member was Herman. If you get the chance to have a coffee made by him, then do so. Best coffee I have had in the whole of Malaysia. Herman is a real asset and star of the team. Breakfast was nice. Comfy bed, clean room.

Rooms very small. POD shower and toilet system cramped with little privacy for two.

Great vibe in the lounge area and great staff. Good location in the city.

Our room was a disabled room which is apparently bigger but the shower drained poorly flooding most of the floor which was frustrating. Also the bed only had access from one side so one person had to climb over the other person.

Clean and cozy! Very good buffet breakfast. iPad controlling lights/blinds/TV is a nice touch.

The water from the shower area seeps thru the glass door and acccumulates at tha base of the toilet bowl.

Very cozy, clean, and comfortable room that exceeded my expectations. I had a lovely view from the window, really enjoyed the design, and the room had everything I needed.

Instead of shower gel/shampoo/cond the shower had AM shampoo and PM shampoo, which was a new concept for me. Not a negative thing necessarily but having a shower gel in addition to shampoo would be a plus!

The hotel has a cool and modern vibe, I definitely liked it! Convenient location (Monorail station Imbi is 5-10 minutes away and MRT Bukit Bintang 10-15 minutes away), nice and friendly staff. 7Eleven next door. Breakfast buffet isn't huge but it is very good with both Asian and Western options.

Only a minor issue, but it is a bit inconvenient that the sink is in the room and not in the bathroom. But as said it is only a minor thing and despite this I absolutely loved my stay!

Struttura moderna, pulitissima, letto comodo e enorme, la lobby grande e accogliente, procedura molto veloce del check-in e personale molto gentile.

Dimensioni della stanza, era un po piccola e mancavano piani d’appoggio. Inoltre il lavandino era fuori dal bagno ed era molto piccolo.

The fantastic rooms with a large bed and window.

A few maintenance issues here and there. The room needs an electric kettle. A bit pricey.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Arrived late, very quite, I thought it would be a buzzing and lively hotel but the opposite. ROOM: Checked into room which is small but functionable. They have a ironing room which is good. The room itself has a good sized bed but the cleanliness could be improved. Hair in show tray from previous guest. Black dirt (not mould) around shower tray. Dust in hotel not cleaned. I wanted to use the glass shelf near hangers but it had a layer of dust on it so skipped that and used my suitcase as the wardrobe. Walls are not sound insulated. I could hear next door laughing their heads off at 2am so had to bang on the walls a few times. When the guests next door are having their shower the sound comes through your room's drain so it sounds like someone is having a shower in your room. Not good at midnight when trying to sleep. HOTEL: Staff try to keep as much distance from you as possible. No life in the hotel. A few people on their laptops in the lobby. BREAKFAST: Did not try it. Ate out instead. CHECKOUT: Checked our early in the morning. Staff too busy to attend to my needs so asked the security guy to check me out. Again the staff want to create as much distance as possible from you. LOCATION: Probably the best bit. Waling distance to the metro, walking distance to Pavillion mall, Times Square Mall and chinetown (15 mins each). Out of the hussle and bussle traffic areas within Bitang.

Que tienen el control de la habitación modo domótica y todo se gestiona desde una tablet La nuestra no funcionaba y el aire estaba al máximo Se lo dije a un miembro del staff y dijo que no me podía ayudar que el mantenimiento lo llevaba una empresa externa, por lo que tuvimos que pasar la noche con el aire activo y potencia alta Además de no poder encender la TV etc Le dije al mismo miembro del staff si él podía regularme la temperatura y la potencia en remoto y me dijo que lo haría, pero finalmente no lo hizo

Catching the monorail, it was located between two stations. Staff were very helpful checking in, out and during the stay. Breakfast had a range of western options (bread, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cereal) which is good if you want to lower the mental load in the morning. A DJ was playing an outdoor set nearby but the noise didn’t carry into the room.

I arrived late, and left early so I didn’t experience anything I didn’t like.

Stayed at citizenM for just one night but it’s now on the top of my list for my next visit to KL. Great location and comfortable rooms. The coffee and breakfast was a huge plus :)

- Lage ist super - Zimmer hat alles was man braucht, super Aussicht! - Personal beim Check in und Sicherheitsmann sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit - alles digital, man kann alles im Zimmer mit dem Tablet bedienen - kleiner 7/11 direkt nebenan - sehr bunte Street Food-Straße direkt nebenan! Hammerlecker!

- am Tag meiner Ankunft und die erste Nacht über funktionierte das Tablet nicht und somit konnte die Klimaanlage auch nicht ausgeschaltet werden (und es wurde nicht kommuniziert, erst auf Nachfrage erfuhr man dies). Dementsprechend kalt war es. Ab dem zweiten Tag funktionierte wieder alles - Handseifen-, Shampoo- und Duschgelspender waren auch nach Hinweis ans Personal am nächsten Tag immer noch alle. Störte mich nun nicht so, da ich eh auscheckte am nächsten Tag, aber sonst hätte es nervig werden können.

Basically everything was wonderful. What made this hotel different was how clean it was. We usally wet wipe the room at a hotel but this time we didn't need to. The staff were also very nice and gave a very warm welcome. These factors made the hotal feel like home.

Location of Citizen M is really good - halfway between Bukit Bintang and Chinatown, it's in a great spot. The hotel is modern and funky with all the modern amenities of a boutique-style hotel. The rooms are cosy and well connected with high speed internet and an iPad to control everything. I would return.

Not much to complain about truthfully! The rooms are compact, but truly if you're out and about seeing KL, they are fine.

Based on google review and i experienced it myself the rude security people of the hotel should be reprimanded for not knowing how to deal with ppl properly..but looking at all reviews getting no response frm management would tell u something abt this hotel and what to expect

Repeating customer here. Love the comfy and small room (suitable for couples/individual). Location is not bad, about 10-15mins walk to Bukit Bintang. Great value for money.

During my last stay, the room door was not locking well and needed to be pushed hard to open. Also, I didn't have the time to warn the staff but the safety box didn't lock. Other than that, no problem.

ロビーやラウンジ、２Fの宿泊者利用スペースのインテリアデザインがセンス良く、開放感ある空間が快適でした。スマートホテルということで、タブレットで室温や照明の調整が出来るのが便利でした。照明はそれぞれスイッチでオンオフも出来るアナログ対応可能なので、デジタル苦手な人でもストレス無く使えると思います。

部屋に窓があるものの、ブラインドを開けると吹き抜けスペース越しに他の部屋に面しているようでした。他の部屋から見られるのが嫌で、結局ブラインドを閉じっぱなしにせざるを得ず。部屋がコンパクトなので、窓の外が見えないと少し圧迫感がありました。

房間內平板操控太方便了 讚, 廣告文宣很有趣; 附近有百貨公司, 夜市, 便利商店等等非常熱鬧方便 一早check out, 無法在lobby早餐, 請工作人員幫忙準備餐盒, 包括水果麵包咖啡 簡單餐盒。可惜...

Localização muito próxima da zona mais agitada da cidade (algo que valorizo muito). Funcionários muito simpáticos e hotel muito bem decorado (partes comuns). Quarto simples, limpo e sossegado. Funcionou lindamente e voltava a repetir a estadia neste hotel.

j’ai tout adoré

Me encantó este hotel, es perfecto para alguien que viaja solo. Los puntos destacables son: 1) Personal muy amable, me ayudaron en varias ocasiones. Sobretodo una chica que me ayudó a instalar la app para taxi y así moverme por la ciudad. Muy agradables y siempre atentos, felicitaciones! 2) Hotel muy moderno, claro hay hoteles con habitaciones más grandes pero con la modernidad de este muy pocos. 3) Muy buena insonorización, pese a estar en una calle muy transitada, no se escuchaba ruido, por lo que dormí muy bien. 4) Ubicación: uno puede en 15 minutos llegar al centro comercial Pavillon y además pasar por toda esa comida callejera de Kuala Lumpur, que es una de las atracciones de la ciudad. Y en Taxi uno se demora muy poco a gran parte de las atracciones de la ciudad. En la esquina hay una tienda de snacks con buenos precios y muy grande.

The room was perfectly sized for a city stay, as we we hardly in most of the time. Seasoned travelers to Asia may be used to bigger room sizes but this was efficiently spaced with most amenities in place. The room is very clean, the bed and bath linens very comfortable, and two bottles of water is re-stocked daily. The staff is incredibly pleasant and helpful, and although the buffet breakfast of Asian and Western selections is smaller than the typical Asian hotel's, it was delicious and really, quality over quantity!

The air-conditioning in my room was weak and never got cold. It would only get a bit cool at 5am (as I would wake up to pull the covers over -- earlier, I would be too hot if I slept under the covers!). Also, I'm surprised body lotion wasn't provided as shampoo-soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, cotton buds, shower cap are. I had no issues with the iPad controls but I was traveling with uncles and aunts, and some of them had problems trying to figure it out.

The hot water was barely warm and the sleep mode still had lights around the room that was distracting.

I will not use Booking.com again for this (or any other Marriott property) because I did not recieve points/credits to my Bonvoy account - very annoying.

Konaklamamızdan genel olarak memnun kaldık. Otelin konumu gerçekten çok avantajlıydı; birkaç dakika içinde night market, Bukit Bintang Crosswalk gibi yoğun turistik noktalara ulaşabiliyorduk. Odalar temiz ve bakımlıydı, temizlik konusunda herhangi bir sorun yaşamadık. Banyo ve tuvalet alanı biraz küçük olsa da bizim için önemli bir problem oluşturmadı. Odadaki iPad üzerinden ışıklar, perdeler ve diğer oda özelliklerinin kontrol edilebilmesi oldukça kullanışlı ve modern bir deneyim sunuyordu.

Kahvaltı beklentilerimizin altında kaldı. Özellikle Türk damak tadına göre seçenekler oldukça sınırlıydı. Uzun süreli konaklamalarda kahvaltı paketini tercih etmeyip dışarıdaki alternatifleri değerlendirmek daha mantıklı olabilir. Bununla birlikte, otelde barista hizmeti bulunması ve kahvelerin başarılı olması hoşumuza gitti.

The bed was so big, it could fit 3 people. I was so satisfied with the city view from my room, the big window beside the bed was so esthetic. The hotel is walking distance to the famous Alor Street. The receptionists and the management team were so professional and helpful

I hope the hotel could provide a connecting room or family room in the future. Please make the hotel more family friendly. The breakfast was ok, but I hope they could provide more variety of food.

Great Hotel Different Except disappointing No Coffee / Tea Facilities in Room Not Even a Kettle

Location was excellent as it is right at city centre and near to all transport interchanges. Love the chill vibes in the hotel! Hotel room was also just nice!

The shower water pressure was a little low.

TV didn't work. Tablet room controls are slow, with too long loading for every usage. Bathroom, especially the shower gel bottles, could be cleaner. This was my third stay over 2-years here, it will also have been my last.
