De'Colore Villa Hoi An

The breakfast was cooked to order and a choice of both Western and Vietnamese foods- great omelettes. The location is excellent -just a short walk into the old town but away from the noise. Only one street back from the river. The hotel provides free pushbikes if you need them. There only 7 rooms in the hotel so its quiet and the wiindows have great soundproofing. The rooms are big and have lots of light and have excellent air con and a ceiling fan. The staff could not have been more helpful . I have been coming to Hoi An for over 20 years and this is my favourite hotel so far and an excellent price for what you get.

Beautiful old building, short walk from the centre of old town. The rooms a spacious and nicely decorated. Very clean bathrooms and a good shower. Nice plunge pool to cool off in!

The rooms are old, air condition is not good enough, there was a problem with water (cold water can finish suddenly and you get very hot water during shower).

Magnifique hôtel avec une super décoration, Jasmine était au petit soin avec nous je vous le recommande vivement !

Bien placé juste un peu en dehors du centre historique qui est trop bruyant, ce petit hotel coloré est décoré avec goût et dispose d'une bonne literie. Le petit déjeuner est préparé dans la cuisine ouverte en bas, à la demande, et offre des options continentales et vietnamienne. Piscine agréable. Le personnel anglophone est très attentionné (réservation de taxi, conseils de visites). Au delà de ça l'ambiance familiale nous a beaucoup plus, offrant un peu l'impression d'être chez l'habitant.

Bouchons d'oreille conseillés pour bien dormir le matin, comme dans la plupart des hotels sans doute car la ville est bruyante.

We came in, checked the room, and immediately left to find another hotel. The room was dirty with dust accumulated for months, the toilet and the bath were broken and leaking. On top of that, hotel did not have elevator and in our room, there was an electronic lock, the code for that door was 1-2-3-4-5. When we complained that that was extermely unsafe they downplay it and we decided to leave. Only when we complained extensively we managed to get a room cancellation and we booked sth else. Do not recommend

とても可愛くてオシャレなビラでした。プールも可愛いプールがあって　泳いだり休憩したり　ゆっくり出来ました。 朝食はメニューがあってその中から選びます。 私はパイナップルのパンケーキを頂きました。フルーツもいっぱい出てきてお腹いっぱいになりました。

部屋のカードでの鍵が中々開けられなく 大変でした。

Perfect stay. Rooms are beautifully furnished with all facilities and a great bathtub. Short walk into the main town area. Jasmine and her team are lovely, nice breakfast each morning. And very helpful. Will definitely stay again when in Hoi An 😎

Small and quiet just outside the busy area of Hoi An but still an easy walk to the markets etc. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. Excellent Vietnamese or Western style breakfast made to order. Exceptionally nice staff.

The swimming pool is small and situated at the front of the building with no lounge area.

Ms Jasmine and all the other staff were so kind and wonderful! The location is great; its just a couple minutes walk to the old centre. When we took a tour and got their private car transport service everything was perfectly organised. I really couldn’t recommend De’Colore Villa more, we were sad we couldn’t stay longer!

A spacious room with a delicious breakfast! The staff were very friendly and ensured we were comfortable with everything. It's close to the old town, and yummy cafe (coconut coffee) is just one minute away!

mooi klein hotel, waar we een heel ruime en luxe kamer hadden met een kleurrijke, kunstzinnige inrichting. Net aan de rand van het drukke centrum, maar wel op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden. Zeer behulpzaam personeel, Jasmin heeft ons goed geholpen met de transfers. Helaas konden we maar 1 nacht blijven.

The room was beautiful and very nicely decorated. The hotel was quiet enough and located really close to the Old Town. I didn't use the pool, but it looked like a nice place to hang out. I very much enjoyed the bathtub in the room as well.

For the price, I felt like the staff could have offered better service. They were kind, but I had to wait quite a while to check in, even though I had let them know when I would be there. The safe didn't work, and the door had a problem, so my first impression may have ruined the whole stay, to be honest.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits exceptionnelles. Le personnel de l'hôtel est au petit soin, les chambres sont magnifiques et les lits très confortables. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et avec beaucoup de choix, tout est fait maison à la minute. Le gros plus, des vélos gratuits pour se balader en ville et le fait de pouvoir tout réserver via l'hôtel (comme le spectacle Hoi an qu'on a eu beaucoup de mal à réserver en ligne par notre faute, nous nous sommes pris à la dernière minute). Nous étions très tristes de partir, c'est le meilleur hôtel qu'on ait eu de tout notre séjour de 3 semaines.

The facilities are a bit run down. The room got cold and we couldn't adjust the a/c. There was only a thin sheet for a blanket.

Lack of facilities. Bedroom dusty. Hot & cold water from the tap at the sink & shower are not functioning well. Be it, switching the lever to the right or left side . It certainly need maintenance .

De lokatie is goed. Je loop zo naar de oude stad. Het hotel heeft ook gratis fietsen te leen. Het ontbijt wordt op bestelling klaargemaakt, er is voldoende keuze. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. Voor de prijs die we betaalden is de kamer netjes en comfortabel. Het zwembad is heel klein, meer om even af te koelen maar niet om echt in te zwemmen

In onze kamer aan de achterzijde was in de nacht en zeer vroege ochtend veel geluid te horen van kraaiende haan, kippen, blaffende hond en een aanhoudend storend geluid vanuit het dak of kamer naast ons van een electrische apparaat, (pomp?). De douche is moeilijk op temperatuur te brengen en zeepplankje hing los.

The location is fantastic, walking distance (even with two small kids 4 and 2) to everything in the old town. The family room was spacious, with two enormous king beds and a lovely bath tub. The breakfast each morning was delicious and their recommendation of tailor and leather maker were superb. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were neat and tidy with nice tile features and bath. Breakfast was great. Jasmine was an excellent host.

The pool was a bit tricky for kids, but not a deal breaker. No lift, however staff carried luggage upstairs. Excellent location.

Great location , about a 5 min walk from the start of "The Old Town". Restaurants, shops bars just outside the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and a good size and the bed was super comfy.

There were a few little items in the room that could easily be fixed by a handy man. All the rooms are up stairs, if you have mobility difficulties that may be a problem.

Absolutely blew us away. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely beautiful and so big with a little balcony which was great. Breakfast was wonderful with great choices. There were free bikes to use which we took out for the day to explore the area outside of Hoi An. Fantastic value. Would highly recommend!!

The location was great , just outside of the old town so nice and quiet but no time to walk in . There were free bikes available and a small swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were amazing , they couldn’t do enough for you and their English was excellent. The room we had was gorgeous, really roomy and even had a bath. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hou An, excellent value for money, we will be back. Jasmine even gave us a souvenir when we left ❤️

Everything was great, nothing not to like . There isn’t a lift, this didn’t bother us and always someone on hand to help with luggage if required.

We enjoyed our stay at De'Colore Villa. A nice quiet location on the outskirts of town but close enough for walking into old town. Our room was comfortable, spacious and cozy. They served a great breakfast in the morning even if we woke up late. The staff made our stay even more enjoyable, very friendly and helpful. Especially when it came to booking our tours. Jasmine took very good care of us with recommendations and preparing us for the tours.

There was nothing to dislike about our stay at De'Colore Villa. Everything met and even exceeded our expectations. Whenever we go to visit Hoi An in the future we will always choose to stay at De'Colore Villa.

Das Omelett, der Saft, Obst, Tee waren lecker. Nationale Gerichte werden nicht vor Ort zubereitet. Sie werden vom Markt geholt. Das habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen. Kann ich also nicht beurteilen. Zimmergestaltung schön.

Nachdem ich Touren nicht über das Hotel gebucht habe, hat die Freundlichkeit (und die Kommunikation) abgenommen. Da ich um 7.30 Uhr bereits abgeholt werden sollte fragte ich nach, ob ich ausnahmsweise um 6.45 Uhr frühstücken könnte. Als Antwort bekam ich, dass sie um 7.00 Uhr anfangen zu arbeiten. Ich könnte aber eher runterkommen und einen Tee trinken und man würde dann schnell das Frühstück machen. Letztendlich hat es geklappt. Aber schade, dass alles so gelaufen ist. Ich war der einzige Gast im ganzen Hotel. Ich habe mich auf das Hotel gefreut, da die Zimmer so schön gestaltet sind. Meine Erwartungen an das Haus wurden aber leider nicht erfüllt.

L'emplacement, proche du centre à pieds mais calme. La déco est magnifique, cela apporte une ambiance très chaleureuse. Le lit était incroyablement confortable. Jasmine était aux petits soins avec nous, d'ailleurs tout le personnel était charmant. Le petit déjeuner à la carte ne nous a jamais déçu (au contraire).

La piscine était en panne à cause des inondations récentes, ce qui évidemment n'était pas de leur faute, donc nous comprenions tout à fait. Vraiment tout le reste était super !

Great location just on the edge of old town and seconds from the river. My room was better than expected....very well maintained, beautifully appointed and everything worked well and was in good condition. The staff were helpful, friendly and lovely. Highly recommended!

Hoi An, no volvería. Esta explotado como destino turístico de masas, experiencia desagradable, todo el rato te acosan para comer, contratar barco, comprar en las miles de tiendas. El entorno fuera de Hoi An muy bien.

I like the location, very close to the ancient town. I also like the vibe of homestay. It's a small boutique hotel but feels like home. The breakfast is cooked by the staff and feels homely, fresh. The staff also provides information regarding tours and shows which were informative.

I am fine with walking on staircase but for people who are disabled or cannot climb upstairs, it may not be suitable as there is no lift.

De'colore Villa is a good pick, very good location just a stone throw away from the old quarters. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Jasmine. The room is very clean, comfortable, good water pressure and hot water. Plus great breakfast.

The balcony is facing the back, kind of dark and with many mosquitos.

Beautiful little boutique hotel close to the old town in hoi an. We loved our room so much, the size, design, temperature, everything was just perfect. We already booked again to stay here 1 more night at the end of our trip. The hotel was super quiet also giving us some nice and peaceful movements.

It’s a small hotel so there isn’t a person at the desk all the time if you want to order a drink or ask a question especially at night. But they are super sweet when they are there and very helpful with anything you need.

We loved everything about our stay - the location was perfect, just a short walk into the Old Town; Jasmine on the front desk was amazingly helpful with organising tours and giving recommendations of places to visit; and the best were super comfy!

The place is well located, a short walk from downtown but far enough to be quiet and less crowded. The villa is beautifully decorated and well kept. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We loved having free bikes to explore the area. Jasmine and the whole staff were kind, helpful, and very responsive. The experience exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed for one night, passing through but the building and decor is lovely. The welcome drink was a passion fruit juice it was the best I’ve ever had! The team are so helpful and friendly the effort and attentiveness at breakfast alone was amazing. Shower was hot and powerful. It feels like you are staying in someone’s home which is lovely.

When arriving the door to the room is open, so a lot of mosquitos had made their way in. There was a background noise regularly, I’ve seen another review mention possibly a water heater that makes sense. It didn’t disrupt me sleeping though.

The hotel it self is alright, nothing much to see, the pool is in a awkward location, but our bedroom was amazing. Very pretty, very big, clean, big bath tub, balcony. It exceeded our expectations. and considering the days weren't a sunny we didn't bother about the pool as we were outside most of the time. Staff super friendly and helped us with renting a bike and transport to Da Nang!

Amazing location. Exceptional value. Small family run place. We really enjoyed our stay here. It felt much better than the big, fancy hotels that charge a lot and don't really deliver. The staff spoke better English than most places we visited which was helpful. They were happy to organise laundry, cars etc. The bikes were a lovely touch too.

The small hotel was decorated very nicely and in a great location. Close enough to the old town, but not in the middle of bars, so quiet at night. The staff was very friendly and made our stay super comfortable - even brought us ginger tea to our room on our last evening. We had 2 rooms and Gold 1 was amazing ans spacious. Would recommend that room to a couple/friends traveling.

The other room, Gold 2, was very humid, and also the air-conditioning didn't fix that. Would therfore recommend to ask for a different room when booking.

We stayed 2 nights here, cozy hotel and the bed was comfortable. Great location, only 5 mins walk to the old town. Also have bikes (no extra charged) All staff were really nice to visitors, they took care of us like family. will definitely stay here again if we visit Hoi An.

- Good location near Old Town, we were a bit skeptical when booking because it seemed like more hotels were on the other side of Old Town, but I liked the vibe of our side, it had good proximity to attractions and restaurants - Good variety of Vietnamese and Western breakfast options - Staff was very helpful, giving advice and booking things - Fully enclosed shower (hard to find at this pricepoint in Vietnam) - Good shower pressure - Nice tub for baths - Liked the interior design aesthetic

- There were a few small bugs in our room which were no big deal, but on the second night there was a beefy 2-3 inch wide spider on the wall over the bed - Poor sound insulation, both in terms of being able to hear people in the hall and alarms from other rooms and with regards to the loud roosters just behind the hotel making noise throughout the night + morning - Room was very humid (although I suspect this would be a problem in most hotels this time of year) - The shower couldn't drain fast enough if we used the maximum water pressure - booking.com described the room as having two twin beds AND a queen bed, explicitly specifying 3 beds total, but the room was actually only 2 twins beds (they also offered us a room with one double bed when we checked in) which was fine since we were only 2 people, but would have been an issue if we had 3+ and was generally smaller than we expected (although still sufficient for our needs). They also have rooms with 2 double beds (not sure if Queen or King), so if you are more than 2 people, be sure to book one of those

Everything was excellent, from staff to facilities. We enjoyed and would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for nice quality ackomodation in Hoian.

We loved our stay in Hoi An and can definitly recommend De’Colore Villa to everyone. Very beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff is amazing, the rooms are clean with a lot of beautiful details and the beds are comfortable. The transfer to and from the airport was organized very well. They also organized a trip for us to My Son Sanctuary, which was very beautiful. The hotel also offers bikes to explore the area.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Very small but well condensed. The rooms and the bathrooms are new and well organized. The staff is easy going.

When I did the reservation through booking.com, the breakfast wasn't included, but it appears as 0€ cost. But we had to pay the for the breakfast. It's not exactly about the hotel, I know it is very typical in Vietname, but the staff keep asking a lot of questions about our stay and our plans... We had everything planned ahead, and even after saying we were fine, they keep asking where we are going, what we will do that day, and so on... And that is very anoying...

She booked tickets for us, arranged for transport, etc. Our Hoi An experience was easy and fruitful despite the rain. Our room was huge, we were upgraded to a junior suite. Breakfast was freshly cooked. I will definitely stay again.
