Needs a clothes drier. Heaters in the double rooms would be good so you don’t have to leave the doors open to the lounge. It would be good to know in advance that the owners are right next door.

A cheap warehouse hairdryer would be great. Also cotton instead of synthetic sheets. They were new and clean but too hot to be comfortable.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2025The house had been newly refurbished. Everything was so clean and fresh. The kitchen was well equipped. There was even a small milk in the fridge. Our host was most gracious and communication was easy. Quick responses made our stay very smooth.

Reviewed Jan 14, 2025Cosy as it says, with lots of space after smaller motel rooms. Like being at home! Use of a whole house was a luxury for our family group after many days of long drives. The parking is excellent, a local shop and takeaways nearby to nip down to. The private outside seating area soaked up the sun and was perfect for evening meal outside. This is a newly renovated home with everything you need in a safe and quiet area. Great to get the washing done, prepare a meal then put your feet up. Quiet at night for a good snooze. And good value all round. Thank you J-L.

Some of the mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. The back door is a bit tight (to open and close). I had trouble locking the door but the rest of the family didn't. Would not stop us from staying again.

Reviewed Dec 16, 2024Lovely Grounds,good size house,it was a great size for us,nice home decor.Im a ex motel cleaner,it was very clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the house even though it was yucky weather .Great to have a porch by the back door.
The shower was abit on the small size. There was no Egg Flip in the utensils The beds were very hard,it's put us off staying there again.When doing dishes the tea towels left alot of fluff on dishes had to use paper towels to finish drying as we couldn't really use them,the paper towels did a better job. No wardrobe to hang clothes in bedrooms.Doors didn't open fully as beds were in the way.
