Everything was great. We specially appreciated responding to messages before arrival, instructions, and late check-in option. There's an elevator, so you don't need to climb stairs. The instructions on finding the building were helpful and read them carefully. Although building looks old and neglected, all the spaces where the rooms are good looking. You can have breakfast in your room for extra 3$, and it's nice and tasteful (better falafel than in nearby restaurant). The room was clean, and the view was nice. Regarding the noise, some people wrote it's noisy, but if you book a central place I think it's not reasonable to expect complete silence. Cairo traffic is special, and you can't avoid it, but for us it wasn't loud. We liked hearing it. AC works well. All the employees are great, and always willing to help. And no one is asking for extra money, which is wonderful. We would specially like to thank Eman, Iriny and Rhama, for being very nice and helpful and showing us the best from Cairo - beautiful humans, smiles and warmth. It's nice to see humans, and not robots, and it's nice to see honest smile. Thank you to all, and would like to come back.

I actually liked everything. The building itself would need a bit of renovation, but the floors where the rooms are look great.

La ubicacion es buena. El desayuno oriental que ofrecen nos gusto, aunque te lo llevan a la habitacion . La habitacion sencilla estaba limpia. El baño bien. Agua caliente bien. Aire acondicionado bien. El personal muy muy amable. Usamos su servicio de transporte para llegar al hotel y eso tambien facilito las cosas. Lo que mas nos gusto fue el personal que en verdad fueron amables.

La entrada. Es un edificio antiguo y la entrada parece un edificio abandonado y sucio, ya que la recepcion del hotel esta en el segundo piso. El ascensor es de pelicula de terror aunque funciona. No apto para personas sensibles. La habitacion no tenia ventana aunque en las fotos se veia ventana, tenia una puerta que daba al balcon, la abrias para tener luz y aire pero entraba todo el calor.

Great, friendly staff and an excellent location for anyone looking to explore lively Downtown Cairo. The Nile is also just a short walk away, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around.

L’emplacement est bien au centre ville mais l’immeuble est dans un état délabré, les chambres sont propres et le personnel sympas.

L’état de l’immeuble est vétustes, le bruit est assourdissant vue l’emplacement de l’hôtel.

Essential location, friendly staff and 24/7 reception. Hotel's got an antiqy look to it coz its an old building which was actually nice.

Place was very noisy coz its right next to the tahrir square which means alot of traffic noise, had to change the room once. Had few black out with electricity, fairplay to the staff who got it fixed quickly. Had some trouble with running water which was solved. Daily water bottles occasionally missing.

The location is great , close to everything and it easy to find .the building old looks amazing from outside looks like a historic building. the room size was good the cleanliness is very good and the viwe from the balcony is fabulous. the greatest thing that makes your stay comfortable and enjoyable are the lovely ,kind and cooperative staff there specifically Mr.Ahmad and Ms.Eman

Without a doubt, my favorite thing about this hotel was the staff’s dedication. Especially Eman, she’s truly very helpful. She goes out of her way to resolve issues. She’s also a very polite and tourist-friendly employee. Additionally, the lady whose name I don’t know but who I assume is the front desk manager, was also quite helpful; she made sure I left the hotel satisfied. As for the hotel’s amenities, the rooms were very clean; even though the hotel is in an older building, the rooms were well-maintained. The hotel’s location was exceptional, right next to Tahrir Square and just a 3- to 4-minute walk from the Nile River. I was completely satisfied with everything. Thank you, Tahrir Plaza Suites.

La parte de fuera del edificio está como en ruinas pero por dentro está muy bien

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. They even upgraded my room, which was such a lovely surprise. The room was spotless, comfortable, and the view overlooking the square was absolutely amazing. Everything was well maintained and made my stay even more enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the hotel and the excellent service they provide. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with a great location and outstanding staff. Thank you for making my stay so special!

Nothing significant. There were a couple of small things missing at first, but the staff responded immediately and provided everything I needed. Their excellent service made the experience even better.

Everything was excellent. The hotel is in Central location, the room is big and clean. Airconditioning is always perfectly, bathroom is big and has jakuzi. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The staff are always available and helpful. We didn't hear bıg noise from the street. Tahrir Plaza Suites far exceeded our expectations.

Excellent staff, friendly, and approachable very helpful with the surrounding area I came in very early in the morning and was happy to be greeted by a friendly attentive staff member who provided me with a welcome drink and a full breakdown of the area

La situation géographique, la chambre confortable et spacieuse. Literie convenable.

Emplacement très bruyant nuit et jour à cause de la circulation (klaxons incessants) Fenêtres non isolées phoniquement. Salle de bain et toilette a rénover.

Bon emplacement. Le personnel était très sympathique. Chambre et sanitaine propre.

Le bruit des voitures. Il faudrait penser à changer les fenêtres qui ne se ferment pas bien . Du coup beaucoup de bruit la nuit.

All the staffs like Heesan, Iman are Super friendly. One of best location. I absolutely come again if I go to Cairo in the future.

So this is a charming hotel in the city and a great walking distance to so many places. 10 mins to Khan El Khalili market. The staff are really nice and I found it easy to locate, though having a bolder sign would be helpful.

If you are a light sleeper and find traffic noise a disturbance, I would say find somewhere else. Because you hear the traffic all through the night. I'm a deep sleeper so it didn't matter much to me.

The hotel was in an excellent, central location. I particularly liked the complementary room upgrade to me offered by the hotel, which meant I had a suite with a balcony overlooking the Egyptian Museum. Breakfast choices were fairly limited, but I found it to be completely adequate for my purposes. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly and they even went as far as to help me practice a bit of my limited arabic. Also, the reception were very good at providing tips and advice about Cairo whenever I requested it.

Although the hotel offered free ear plugs, the noise from the outside traffic proved to be a bit overwhelming for my first night's sleep. However, after this I seemed to get accustomed to it and slept not too badly for the remainder of my stay. I suppose there is not really much the hotel can do about the outside noise, as this should be expected if one stay's in central Cairo.

It was by far the best accommodation I have stayed in so far. The staff were really friendly and the location was excellent. If I travel to Cairo again, I would like to stay here again.

Tahrir Plaza Suites is very well located, which is one of its biggest strengths. It is just a few steps from the museum and in a very convenient central area. The staff were also very kind and helpful. The woman at the reception was particularly pleasant, very supportive, and spoke excellent English, which I found quite rare during my trip in Egypt. I was only passing through as I had a night bus to Siwa later that evening, so I did not actually stay overnight at the hotel. However, when I briefly entered the room, what immediately struck me was the noise from the traffic outside. I remember thinking that I was glad I was not staying there overnight, as I imagine it could be quite noisy. Overall, it seems like a very practical option for its location, especially for short stays.

من شخص عربي عراقي أعطي تقييم للفندق وادارته والمنظفين والغرفة 10\10 جميع الموظفين ودودين وحبابين وخلوقين مكان الفندق بوسط المدينة وكلشي قريب عليك اخذت غرفة مقابل الرسيبشن كانت كبيرة وتحسها فارهه ديكورها حلو، السرير نظيف، ثلاجة موجودة ، تبريد موجود، خزانه موجودة ، بلكونه موجودة، نقاط الكهرباء كلها تشتغل والحمام داخلي نظيف وفيه كل الي لازم الشخص من غسول وشامبو ( ما عدى المنشفة ) كنت اترك فلوسي بالغرفة واخرج ما كان عليها أي شي ف أقيم الامان ايضاً 10 على 10 ان شاء الله بالمستقبل ارجع اسكن في الفندق كانت تجربة جميلة جداً

A mi no me molestó, pero si necesitas silencio al dormir, olvida este lugar. Está en el mismo centro del Cairo y solamente se oyen los cláxones a tope El edificio está bastante destartalado, pero la habitación y recepción son limpias y acogedoras

Trop bruyant avec la circulation et les klaxons toute la journée et la nuit. Les fenêtres ne sont pas insonorisées. L'établissement mériterait un rafraichissement au niveau de ses équipements (salle de bain et toilette)

The rooms were in an old vandalized building. Ac was dripping all over. We came at 4am and there were no lights and we can’t see the name of the hotel.

An absolute gem in the heart of Cairo – Highly Recommended! Excellent stay! This place is perfectly located right in the vibrant center of downtown Cairo, just a very short walk from the museum. The location really couldn't be better if you want to explore the real city. The staff is absolutely fantastic and available 24/7, which is super convenient. I was genuinely impressed by their proper Egyptian hospitality. Unlike in some touristy areas, nobody harassed me for tips here; they were just incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything I needed. The room itself exceeded my expectations. It was spotlessly clean – and most importantly, the bed was super comfortable with fresh, clean sheets. Coming back to a great bed and a reliable hot shower after a long day of sightseeing was exactly what I needed. Plus, waking up to such a fantastic view really elevated the whole experience. I felt completely safe during my entire stay, both inside the hotel and walking around the neighborhood. My absolute favorite feature was the little balcony overlooking the bustling streets below. It’s the perfect spot to sit and take in the local vibe. Yes, it is a bit noisy with all the traffic, but hey, that's Cairo! It's the heartbeat of the city, and you get used to it very quickly. Lastly, a tip for future travelers: If you are debating whether to book a place in Giza or downtown, definitely stay in downtown! Giza is great for a day trip to see the Pyramids, but it's really not worth staying there. Downtown Cairo has so much more to offer in terms of cafes, restaurants, and culture. You can easily just take an Uber everywhere for a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Egypt and would book it again without hesitation!

Location is great, they didn't try to sell me sth or inexperienced.

Breakfast is average, you cannot sleep due to traffic noise, and honks! In such strategic location, having no sound isolation is a terrible idea. I couldn't sleep properly.

Gostei muito de me hospedar no Tahrir, excelente localização no centro do Cairo, quarto muito limpo de confortável. Banheiro muito bom e um atendimento muito especial dos funcionários da recepção. Como o prédio é numa área central e preservada pela área externa e na entrada do prédio você irá estranhar, mas ao entrar no hotel que fica no 2° andar você ver como a hospedagem é boa. Recomendo

I really liked the location of this hotel, right opposite the Old Cairo Mueseum which mesnt I could always find my way back.Lots of useful shops nearby in a safe, no hassle area.The staff were lovely and helpful and the room was comfortable.Excellent value gor money.

Hat mit einem Hotel nichts zu tun. Ist eher eine Pension über mehrere Etagen eines Wohnhauses. Zimmer sind ok mit guter Ausstattung. Ich habe das Hotel gewählt, weil ich am nächsten Morgen einen Bus erwischen wollte und die Haltestelle nebenan war.

Sehr laute Straße. Ohrenstöpsel dringend empfohlen. Keinerlei Außenwerbung oder Hinweisschildern. Wenn man vor dem Gebäude steht, kommt einen nicht die Idee, dass in dem Haus ein Hotel existiert. Sehr geschönte Fotos. Mein Zimmer sah nicht so aus wie auf den Fotos. In der Dusche läuft das Wasser nicht ab. Kein Schrank. Für das Gebotene viel zu teuer.

El servicio de desayuno empieza a las ocho y lo traen de una cafetería. Al tener salidas antes no pudimos solicitarlo.

Si trova al secondo piano di una struttura vecchia e logora, maltenuta e non troppo sicura tra ascensore e scale. Camera accogliente e pulita ma rumorosissima, gli infissi non isolano il continuo rumore proveniente dalla strada.

Staff were lovely. You’re greeted with hibiscus tea and my room was beautiful with high ceilings, a balcony overlooking the museum - clean - perfect place to watch Cairo traffic 😂 and close to downtown.

Not the easiest to find as hotel is 2nd floor and up and there’s no sign on the ground floor at the street. Old historic building with beautiful architecture, a bit run down - rooms were excellent though. Friendly staff.

Stayed only for one night. It got the job done and was very clean and accommodating. Not so much noise despite being in the middle of Cairo. Perfect for a short stay.

Hot water ran out quickly and there was not much direction on how to get to the hotel in the building. There wasn’t any signage on which floor the hotel is so you just have to guess.

Pas facile à trouver, dans un bâtiment au 2eme étage, le hall d'entrée fait peur ! Les chambres sont très petites, les salles de bain minuscules. La fenêtre de notre chambre ne fermait pas. Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées, j'ai eu l'impression de dormir sur le périphérique en pleine heure de pointe ! Si le voisin tousse, on l'entend, alors imaginez les voitures avec leur klaxon incessant.

La struttura è in un vecchio palazzo sottoposto a vincoli, non ha vetri alle finestre, c'è un rumore terribile dalla strada tutta la notte, gli impianti fatiscenti, a metà soggiorno me ne sono andato anche se era stato pagato interamente

La posizione dell'albergo e la disponibilità del personale. Anche le stanze sono arredate in modo molto originale ed hanno a disposizione tutti i servizi base.

Unica pecca la rumorosità della strada sottostante che la notte... si sente parecchio!
