Our high floor river facing rooms were scenic day & night. Ala carte buffet breakfast offered a good selection of authentic local delicacies and western delights. Location was great, just a short stroll to Jonker and the popular riverside cafes. Overall, a relax & joyful retreat for the family!

The room is spacious and beautiful. The staff were friendly and very professional.

The restaurant and food are just okay and does not match the hotel level. Tried to order the breakfast at the restaurant but they were disappointing. The bakery and fruits were not fresh. While the restaurant offers different breakfast options, none of them is really good. A little disappointing. Also tried the Malaysian SPA, which was just okay. Not very impressive.

Struttura eccezionale e lo si respira dal momento in cui varchi il cancello, ti senti la protagonista di una storia prestigiosa ed antica, cortesia e gentilezza incredibili sia quando entri che quando esci, é un posto di classe. La camera é bellissima ho apprezzato tutte le rifiniture, il bagno stupendo. Ho apprezzato anche l'ampiezza della camera che per due persone con letti singoli era perfetta, con affaccio alto sulla cittadina l'ho trovato meraviglioso. Ne ho respirato la percezione storica e il restauro. Ristorante con personale super cortese e professionale di grandissima classe. E' una struttura che si distingue perché ti senti in un micro cosmo estremamente elegante e lontano dal contesto che lo circonda. Consiglio vivamente

The location.

We are old people in the eighties. The hotel is not old people friendly - No lift access to the restaurant which is located at the first floor of the old heritage building - my wife could not walk up the high stairs for dinner and they could not bring the food down to the Library because they were busy with a function. Also the wheelchair lift to the lift lobby had broken down - hence we had to up up the steps to the lift lobby (these limitations are NOT clearly stated to potential customers)

Peu de prises dans les chambres et la caution n'est restituée qu'après deux semaines ce qui esy particulièrement long

Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits. Équipe très accueillante et prévenante. Très joli bâtiment où s’effectue l’enregistrement, de jolis salons et une belle salle de restauration. Petite piscine bien orientée agréable. Immeuble de 10 étages attenant qui comprend les chambres. Elles sont élégantes. Très grand lit avec excellente literie. Nous avions demandé une chambre en angle en étage élevé; on nous a octroyé une chambre en angle au 9 étage, what else ! Le petit déjeuner servi est excellent et sans limite de commande, pour tous les goûts et appétits. Le centre historique est à moins de 15’ à pieds, nous avons fait nos 2 jours de visite à pied. Le canal est en bas de l’hôtel qui lui est en face de la villa Sentosa.

L’inconvénient des chambres communicantes …et c’est le défaut de l’hôtel plus globalement c’est l’isolation des chambres.

Het zwembad en haar omgeving was wat smoezelig. We hebben niet gezwommen. Maar dat kwam meer omdat we geen tijd hadden.

L'histoire du site. La proximité avec une partie de la ville que nous n'aurions pas visité si nous n'avions pas dormi dans cet hôtel. La qualité du mobilier dans la chambre, la salle de bain et la propreté du lieu.

L'éloignement du centre. A savoir qu'il faut marcher 1km pour être dans le cœur de la ville. La manque d'âme de l'hôtel, je ne me suis pas sentie accueillie comme dans un hôtel 5 étoiles. La piscine encastrée entre 4 murs, on se demande d'ailleurs ce qu'elle fait là ?!? Le lieu (de passage) ne donne pas envie de se baigner. La fait que les chambres se trouvent dans une construction neuve derrière le site historique. Le manque de personnalisation dans sa globalité (arrivée, départ, petit déjeuner...) Parties communes très petites et gros manque d'espaces extérieurs. Mauvaise insonorisation des chambres.

The colonial tyle is nice

It's time for the property to refurbish. It is now a bit dated. The bathtub was cracked and leaked in the unit i was assigned to.

The service rendered was excellent. Would like to highlight Mr Greg who was at the front desk when we checked in. He delivered such a wonderful service. He brought us to the room and ensured we settled in. Kudos to him. He is truly an assert to the hotel.

The Breakfast wasn't a spread instead it was ordering from the menu. Was a little disappointing as it was the buffet concept. One of the room was slightly warmer than usual. but was manageable.

A luxury oasis in the heart of Malacca. Easy walk to heritage centre but removed enough to be calm and quiet. The staff are all very friendly and super helpful. The trip to market and cooking class with chef well worth the money.

A charming hotel with spacious, beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and friendly.

The hotel is a little far from Malacca’s historic centre, although this was easily manageable thanks to the abundance of inexpensive Grab rides. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing for a 5-star hotel and could be improved. The swimming pool is also quite small.

The decor and the breakfast

The aircon was not working and couldn’t sleep well. The hotel should have checked the rooms before allocating to guests.

Location was great as easy to get into town but quiet. Property was very elegant. Didn't use the pool but looked lovely and great to have one in the heat. Staff were great and we loved the bar with the gin speciality happy hour and our excellent barman hailing all the way from Nepal!

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, auch wenn im Bad die Armaturen nochmals befestigt werden müssen. Man konnte in ca 20 Minuten gemütlich am Fluss zu den Attraktionen laufen.

The variaty of the breakfast and the taste is good. The staff was nice and polite. overall the place was clean and hygience.

The television was old and blur with snowflakes. The pillow case have some unpresent odour, likely from the last user. Sound profing was a bit terrible and we even can heard clearly what's the next room was discusing for.

Könnte sauberer sein - und wir hatten leider ein Zimmer mit Verbindungstür. Dadurch hatten wir die ganze Nacht Bespassung durch die beiden Nschbardamen. Leider hat das am nächsten Tsg nicht wirklich jemanden interessiert.

La struttura è molto bella in quanto casa d'epoca. Pregevole la sala adibita a ristorante. Le camere sono ampie, pulite e dotate di tutti i comfort.

レセプションがある旧館と宿泊施設がある新館の間に階段があり不便を感じました。全体的に素晴らしい印象だったので、とっても小さな不便ですが。あと、場所は中心地から少し北のほうになります。

The hotel is gorgeous. We stayed here for the historical value of the place. Very traditional Kristang food and decor, which was lovely. Close to the main attractions - $RM6 Grab or you can walk along the river and take in the old city - wonderful way to experience Malacca. The staff here were next level

One area that could be improved is the spa operating hours. Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and after settling in and having dinner, I was hoping to book a spa treatment at around 8:00 PM. However, the spa closes at 7:00 PM and only reopens at 11:00 AM the next day, which coincides with the hotel's 11:00 AM check-out time. This makes it difficult for guests staying just one night to enjoy the spa facilities. The outdoor parking arrangement was also not very convenient, especially during bad weather or when carrying luggage to and from the hotel.

Room was beautiful and also comfortable - had everything I needed; there was a great choice at breakfast, and staff were helpful; the hotel is by the river and you can work along the river path to get into the town centre.

写了邮件投诉到现在两个月没有任何回复，我不太理解这家酒店怎么得到现在这个评价的。没有任何满意的地方。

1. 清洁人员扔掉了我桌子上的东西，但是洗漱台上撕开的面膜壳却还在；2. 没有提前告知洗衣服务需要通知前台；3. 早晨不断被铃声吵醒，至少三次，而我八九点回到房间时，房间却仍然没有被打扫。

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They bent over backwards to help me with my coeliac dietary needs too. Very polite and can't fault them.

Eine gute Lage in der Fussdistanz zum kolonialen Zentrum. Pool war angenehm und nicht überlaufen. Zimmer sehr gross und gut ausgestattet.

Wände ringhörig, so dass die Dusche des Nachbars besser hörbar war als die eigene. Fenster dicht aber kein Schallschutz. Wobei wir trotzdem gut geschlafen hsben, da in der Nacht nicht viel los war. In einem Zimmer war die kühle Lüftung trotz ausgeschalter Klimaanlage noch recht intensiv. Spa hat ein gutes Angebot aber sehr teuer für Malaysia! Schade. Die Mitarbeiterin hatte nichts zu tun. Lieber etwas günstiger anbieten, so dass es auch benutzt wird. Frühstück sehr schwach und bei weitem keine 5* wert.

Il est rare que nous attribuions la note de 10 sur Booking. Mais The Majestic Hôtel mérite amplement cette note. Il est certes superbe, très propre ; le restaurant est excellent ; le petit déjeuner exceptionnel Mais surtout le personnel est extraordinaire. Victime d’une grave intoxication alimentaire contracté quelques jours avant notre arrivée à Malacca , j’ai en effet été hospitalisé. Pendant mon séjour à l’hôpital et pendant ma convalescence à l’hôtel (10 jours) le personnel nous ont témoigné d’une attention et d’une prévenance exceptionnelles. Un immense merci à toutes et tous pour votre sourire, votre délicatesse et votre grande humanité..

Water piping pressure sounds very loud from next door. Problem with sound proofing in the rooms.

The place and the room was exceptionally good. Enjoyed the stay. It was cozy, quite and peaceful

The TV needs to change. Its a very old model with pictures/movies are very blur. Besides, most of the TV channels are unavailable. Unable to enjoy any movies. Such a wonderful place and nice movie would have been perfect.
