I did not like anything about the property.

This property was listed as a one bedroom, it is a studio. Accommodations that were listed to be but be available but were not was the gym. It was only for the owners of the property. There were no pots and pans to cook with. The washing machine had a leak at the hose through the O-ring. The bathroom sink was full and unable to be drained. There was no towel’s and no toilet paper. The area is terrible, kids begging for money. Dogs and cats running the streets. It’s just nasty. When I booked this was listed as The US EMBASSY SUITS. It is not the US embassy suits. The name on the building was Grand Rivera. I would never recommend to stay at this place.

I was in Manila for a three-day training course and mainly needed somewhere dependable to stay between long sessions. Coming back each evening felt easy and relaxing, which was exactly what I needed after spending the whole day in meetings.

I needed to take an unexpected video call during my stay and was glad I could do it privately without searching for a quiet café. Once I finished working, I was able to head straight back out and enjoy the rest of the day."

I had a morning appointment followed by several hours with nothing scheduled. Being able to return to the apartment rather than sitting around in cafés all afternoon made the day considerably easier.

Our plans changed unexpectedly one afternoon, leaving us with several hours to spare. Instead of wandering around, we returned to the apartment and had a proper rest before going out for dinner.

I stayed here for a combination of work and personal travel. Some days were busy with appointments while others were completely free, and the apartment worked equally well for both.

The rooms are decent

No dining and living area. The bathroom smells and the bathroom flush doesn’t work properly

We arrived just before sunset and were able to unwind for a while before heading out for dinner. The apartment had a relaxing atmosphere that helped us feel at home almost immediately.

This place made our Manila trip so much easier. Everything was exactly as described, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and easy to access. We’d definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town.

We were traveling with a teenager who usually complains about hotel rooms, but even he commented on how comfortable the apartment was. That says a lot.

We arrived much earlier than expected because our bus reached Manila ahead of schedule. Luckily, the host responded quickly and helped us coordinate everything. The rest of the stay was smooth and comfortable.

Clean as can be.

Room was generally uncomfortable and in bad repair. 1 bedroom apartment with living area converted to second bedroom. Sliding doors were broken and could not be closed. This was more a poor airbnb than hotel. I left after first night and moved to bed hotel.

The Host never responds to messages We had 2 towels for 3 people, after 3 days had to pay for clean towels They didn’t even have one coffee cup, no cutlery at all. Called the host for a knife which she provided the next day around mid day so we could cut our fruits Room wasn’t cleaned in 7 days Offered late check out at 500 pesos per hour No tv in the apartment. Nowhere for everyone to sit together. It looks like it’s a one bedroom apartment with the lounge changed to a bedroom Avoid this place unless you are desperate

We checked in after spending most of the afternoon shopping nearby, so having a comfortable place to rest afterward was perfect. The unit felt clean, cool, and very relaxing

We arrived in Manila during an especially hot afternoon, so stepping into a cool and clean unit felt amazing. After unpacking, we rested for a while and ended up sleeping much better than expected.

It was close to where I need to go especially the parks and museums

We arrived in Manila exhausted after a delayed flight, and honestly just wanted a smooth check-in and a good night’s sleep. Thankfully, everything was prepared clearly in advance, and the room was cool and spotless when we arrived. It immediately helped us relax

Nothing did not end up staying

Front staff and security officer tried to extort 300 pesos from me to hold my one suitcase until check in. I was told by other staff that was not the hotels policy. They had no manager on duty supposedly and would not even give me their name. I am disputing the charge with them and refuse to pay. This place is a dump dont ever stay here they are crooked and a waste of time.

A pleasant and convenient stay. The building felt safe and well-maintained. The only small issue was that the shower area could use a bit more drainage, but it didn’t cause problems.

Vue, quiet unit

Too many cockroachs. Only 1 AC work. Non shower gel. 1h to wait for the check in. Before 11am, the check out, they ask you when you go.... I asked for a late check out on booking.com. never had an answer. The ground of the unit is not good.

Stayed here a few times, cheap & cheerful, on my last trip there the security called owner who said they havent got room for me & that i didnt have a booking, even tho i showed them i had, so i tried rebooking & it said its full, so i had to book a diffrent hotel after flying 18 hours, the owner didnt even come to reception the ignorant idiot, never again

This place was exactly what we needed during our trip to Manila. The location was convenient, and we had no trouble finding food or transportation nearby. Overall, a very easy and pleasant stay.

Gar nichts. Nur blinde können es buchen. Ein Manager der sich um nichts kümmert. Und von booking empfohlen wird, ist eine Frechheit.

Die Unterkunft hat maximal 1 Stern. Und das mit manila bay ist gelogen. Im Meer ist schwimmen verboten. Und es ist nur ein kleiner Abschnitt. Meidet die Unterkunft. Ein hostel ist manchmal schon mehr.

Aucun équipement, pas vaisselle, pas linge a vaisselle, pas assez serviettes ( réservation pour 4 adultes et seulement 3 serviettes, 2 tasses, aucun verres pour boire) , pas de micro onde, lave linge non fonctionnel!!! Forte Odeur de moisissure !!! Pas de shampoing, n’y savon, très décevant.

The apartment was very comfortable and easy to adjust to, even for a first-time visitor to Manila.

The location is kinda safe and once you are in the building is okay. The cleaner lady who checked us in was kind and helpful.

The owner is arrogant and disrespectful, while I am still waiting for a refund for more then a week, because he gave us a one bedroom apartment instead of the two bedroom one which we booked. The apartments are not equiped, no mugs, no spoons, no cutlery, nothing besides one or two glasses. The bathrooms are old, water is not going down, smell is terrible. The "ac type ventilator" is soo laud. The view is not beachview, just feom the corner of the room if you break your neck you see the sea. I didn't get replies for messages and I was not welcomed as a customer just as a needy person who already paid so they don't care.

Bathroom is clogged. Took 10 minutes to fully drain, hence shower interval took longer.

Location Stuff

Liked the staff, friendly and accommodating. The hotel although it's old has the basics, and it's close to a mall. I did not like: Noisy ac, the neighborhood is pretty dodgy, homeless, dirty, and a red zone.

we really love the location its accessible to all, transportation, malls, foods etc. amazing view from our room, staff are friendly and attended, plus we can cook our food inside.

To whom it may concern, I want formally complain because when we arrived at the property and nobody is accepted us. I’m showing the booking and pin but as per the reception the host declined us as a guest. I’m calling the number showed in the application, but it’s incorrect. Nobody is replying in the message option in the application also. We’ve waited for an hour until the property told us that they cannot accept us. Therefore, I had to find another hotel on the spot since I am with my children feeling helpless. there is so many lacking facilities in the unit. No slippers, no bath towels, no iron, no kitchen utensils, poor water pressure in the shower, television doesn’t have channels, poor signal inside the unit, the bed is hard and etc. there’s so many to mention.

The apartment did not provide kitchen utensils, toiletries or cleaning materials as described in the listening. The on-site rep did not return text as she promised and never resolved the missing items. We left one day early and agreed to a one day refund

Mauvaise réception, chambre mal équipée, pas très propre , pas de produits de toilette, pas d’eau, un seul rouleau de papier toilette pour 6 jours….piscine gelée sans transats ni endroit où se poser. Bord de mer….on ne peut ni se baigner ni se mettre en maillot pour lire. Je déconseille ce logement
