One thing that wouldve made my stay even better would've been to have better access to HDMI sockets on the tv. It was locked tight to the wall which made it very difficult to plug anything in

Magnificent! Everything was just perfect. The most comfortable bed ever. The most tasteful decor. Spacious and gracious. Central but peaceful. Couldn't fault it. Eire is an expensive destination for us, and this stretched our budget to the limit, but boy, was it worth it!

Great location

The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay. The owner (Mary) met us on our first day and couldn't have been more welcoming. We had a great chat about Cobh. The location of the apartment was excellent, very close to the train station and just a brief walk to the shops and cafes near by. Facing the promedade, we were able to walk over from our apartment with our coffees and sit out looking over the harbour. We were spoilt with the weather which made the trip even more enjoyable. Everyone we met in Cobh were really friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable & spacious for our short stay in Cobh. Cosy escape from the rain too! Being on the main promenade & so close to the town centre makes a great base from which to wander & explore.

Ideal location. Mary very helpful and friendly. No problems with any of the appliances. Comfortable bed and mainly very quiet.

Very good attention to detail; the property was nicely decorated and had amenities that were useful to travellers and made our stay more comfortable. There are more than the 'basics' especially in the kitchen, which was greatly appreciated. The croissants supplied on our final morning were lovely and a sweet gesture.

The location the space the cleaniness the decor the welcome from Mary, the confort, the list could go on. A perfect stay for a get away. Walking distance to everything in Cobh. The style and confort was top notch. The comfort of the bed was outstanding. Cant wait to return again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Everything was just perfect! Mary is a fabulous & lovely woman. The place is beautiful, clean and comfortable. I slept like a baby - it was very quiet, which I didn't expect given the central location. Had a wonderful stay!

Absolutely amazing location right next to the pier and less than a five minute walk from the train station which connects directly to Fota wildlife park and Cork city. Everything we wanted or needed in Cobh was a five minute walk away. Apartment is super comfortable, the bed and shower in particular were lovely

The kitchen is quite small and the appliances aren't great. Totally fine for breakfasts and easy meals, but I wouldn't expect to be cooking much. Also we were in the basement apartment and could often hear noises from our upstairs neighbours. It didn't bother us at all but it's something to be aware of

I loved everything! Fantastically located sea-front basement apartment but a few moments walk away from the Titanic Experience which was my goal. Lovely hotel next door for breakfast - or any meal if you don't want to use the great faciiities in the apartment - and but a few moments walk away from a decent supermarket from which to stock up if you do. Surprisingly quiet, with plenty of parking options, I wish I could have stayed longer, thannk you, Xxx

There was nothing to dislike at all.

The location was perfect, walking distance to centre of town, train station ,cathedral and on the sea front .the apartment was located on the main road, however we could not hear any traffic noise. Extremely peaceful and comfortable stay. I enjoy reading and forgot to bring a book, however there was a great selection of books at the accomodation

we liked everything about the accommodation and could not find any faults. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back soon

This didn't affect me. But you have to pay for parking during the day. And it's only for 3 hours.

The accommodation was absolutely great. Beautiful bathroom, a large and very comfortable bed. A smart TV and even a small sea view. The lady who runs the accommodation is very kind and helpful. Complete satisfaction.

The bed & bedding exceptional and shower also excellent. Very good Central location.

Kitchen could have been better equipped, Very little comfort in lounge & eating area. No visitor handbook available.

Mary our host was wonderful. She welcomed us so warmly and even provided a heated clothes drying rack that we needed. The location was excellent and Mary offered great tips for sights to see.

Fabulous location along the waterfront and an easy walk to all the main attractions. Well stocked kitchen for self catering, washer/dryer was also very handy and Mary was a very friendly and helpful host. Very comfortable bed.

We know the area inside and out. The owner was incredibly courteous, and made sure we had everything we needed at all points of our stay. The apartment was very clean, had fantastic amenities and was very comfortable. We will absolutely be booking again on our next visit.

The location can’t be beat. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. A very comfortable place to stay when visiting Cobh. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was immaculate and so tastefully decorated. Bed was suoer comfortable and huge shower. Fabulous location and the hostess Mary is extremely helpful and so pleasant. Made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Cobh.

The location. The bed was comfortable.

The sofa was uncomfortable to sit, relax and watch tv at the end of the day. We did a 16 day trip and was disappointed that the washer did not work since my wife planned our trip being able to do laundry at this location. The owner did offer to do our laundry for free but we were not comfortable with that solution. The shower was very slippery. It had no safety bars and my wife fell.

The location was excellent. It was right in the centre of town and five minutes from all the tourist attractions. The hostess was very friendly and accessible. I left my mobile phone on the property and the hostess very kindly posted it on. We had a wonderful stay.

We have no complaints. Modern kitchen and bathroom, and comfortable sitting room and bedroom.

Mary was a lovely host, the place was clean and cosy, perfect for us and our 4 month old baby. The location was perfect for walking around Cobh, lovely to see the sea across the road when we came up onto the street.

The apartment was clean and the location can’t be beat. Mary was kind and met us on arrival and helped with recommendations. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed.

The couch is probably the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on.

Excellent central location.

Once I had booked I asked the host if there were feathers in the room (as I am allergic). She assured me it was ok as she would remove any duvets etc from the apartment. When we arrived, she had replaced one pillow in the bedroom (but left the other one there!) and had placed the duvet in the wardrobe. I asked her to remove them. I also discovered that the cushions in the living room and the sofa itself is filled with feathers. She removed some of them but not all. The result of this was that I could not spend time in the apartment other than sleeping (and I was still in a lot of discomfort the next day). If she had told me the real amount of feathers there I would have cancelled (I was within the cancellation period) and booked somewhere else. This all spoiled my experience in the town of Cobh. Also there were two of us but we will only supplied with one bath towel and one small towel! Another negative is the 'dining' area which at best is the standard of a caravan. Overall, its a nice apartment in a good area but my booking was managed dreadfully.

Gorgeous ground floor apartment on the waterfront in cobh...lots of amenities close by... 15 minutes from fota wildlife park...

Mary was quite happy to bring fresh croissants or scones, really, whatever we would like to have. We decided it was more fun to go out an explore for breakfast, but nothing was a problem for this gem of a lady! Nothing is an issue for her and she is very knowledgeable and willing always to share and put you in the right direction. Definately 'my place to stay' on returning to Cobh. Wonderful wonderful hosts

Coming from Australia we were unsure how the shower worked but got it going eventually (instructions may be suitable). Water pressure not great.

It was self catering so I was responsible for my own meals. The location was great. The host, Mary was amazing. Since I didn’t have a car, she helped me to get around.

Furniture in the living room needs updating. Couch was very uncomfortable and worn out.

Absolutely amazing location very very comfortable. The bed was the absolute best I've stayed in during our three weeks in Ireland! Thank you Mary for your hospitality.

I was met with a warm reception by the host and some lovely fresh scones & jam. I would compare the apartment to a hotel suite in a 5* Hotel. It had everything I needed in an excellent location in the town.

Great location, self contained apartment. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen facilities were great. Lounge was big enough.

A little old fashioned in regards to the dining nook and sofa a bit uncomfortable.

Very cosy and homely. Nice and warm and host was a friendly lady. Tea/ coffee etc provided as well as the kitchen being well equipped with everything you would need. WiFi worked well. There were loads of sockets too which was great!

The kitchen sink had no plug. I was trying to clean my baby’s bottles so this was an inconvenience for me. Also tv only worked intermittently.

DISGUSTING! On arrival at the property having paid non refundable balance in full I was told the apartment was no longer available as it was taken by someone else. After a 5 hour drive and having confirmed our arrival on route we then had to find alternative accommodation at short notice for the night. To put it mildly extremely disappointing and caused unnecessary inconvenience

Excellently appointed and spacious apartment. Owner was very cordial, and provided more amenities (coffee, tea, laundry pods, etc.) than expected.

A lighter blanket would be great. The apartment can feel a bit cold, but it's quite the opposite in bed.
