The dogs needs to be locked up during the day, there was one that kept barking at us when we were outside

The unit is equipped with everything you could need. It is nice and spacious and we were very comfortable.

Finding the location was quite difficult as the pinned location was not accurate. It would be great if the location could be updated and check-in instructions could be sent ahead of time to help you know what to do and where to go once you get there.

This is our 2nd time at this exquisite, rural stay. There is everything you need, comfy bed, large living area and kitchen,together with beautiful surroundings of nature.

The bathroom could use with a door,especially since its in the bedroom Dogs are big and scary,owner keeps them locked up how ever they were let out and ruined our outside experience

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aurora! The location is fantastic, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for unwinding or staying productive. A special mention goes to Dawn, whose warm and friendly reception made my stay even more memorable. She was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was smooth and enjoyable. Our conversations were delightful, adding a personal touch that made Aurora feel like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming cottage—not only for business travelers seeking a relaxing retreat but also for those looking for a refreshing weekend getaway. Given the chance, I would love the opportunity to stay at Aurora again in the future

There was nothing I did not like.

The place is located perfectly, my partner loved the horses, the accessibility and paved road right to the door step, the pool views are best and pictures were exactly how the place is in person. NIce big screen for movies

i did not like how the dog kept barking as i was trying to got to the car after i had asked that they be put away from the chalet. The bathrooms were not clean and the sitting room smelt like pets. One dog took my crocs shoes and bit it all over. They should service the rooms daily and not twice a week. Their wifi also weak too

Love this place, it was our second time there. It was a peaceful and relaxing few days. Dawn is a great host, horses and dogs were very friendly. The over night rain on both nights made our time there even more romantic ❤️

Many disturbing noises late at night for the nights we stayed there, disturbing our sleep. Also the morning of booking out as early as 7am the hot water and wifi was cut off without warning to us.

Aurora Bushbaby 1 is a hidden gem! The space has a warm, homely feel with charming decor and a peaceful atmosphere. Waking up to the sounds of nature was a refreshing escape from the city buzz. The location is great—close enough to everything yet still private and tranquil.

Even the little quirks added to the charm! The rustic vibe means it’s not ultra-modern, but that’s part of what makes it special. It felt like a cozy retreat, perfect for unwinding.

The property is in a quiet area and you have peace of mind, a great getaway from the city. The place has everything you would need. The bush vibe is great.

I booked on behalf om my mother in law who booked the place for her sister's birthday. She loved the pool area and they enjoyed the TV as well. They didn't want to leave. They also say the place exceeded their expectations. She forgot to pack milk and the fridge had a complimentary 1l milk which they were very thankful for

This is a very peaceful place, I love the place, and the host is friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come back with my family

The unit was close to the host, yet we had all the privacy in the world. The location was not too far from where we stay, yet it was such a peaceful environment. The kitchen was fully equipped and we did not lack anything. The pool area was also lovely. I really liked the bookshelf and found a nice book to read on the stoep. The card games were also enjoyed by us and we had access to Youtube which allowed us to listen to worship while doing Bible study in the morning. I didn't want to come home haha.

Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable so sleep didn't come easily. The soap dispenser in both the bathroom and shower were empty so we had to go out buy some

This is a wonderful, peaceful stop over with delightful birds and horses to wake up to. The facilities were very good with plenty of seating options.

The owner needs to have a look round before guests I think to make sure cleaning is up to scratch. The bed was very uncomfortable so for 3 nights, we didn't get much sleep unfortunately which is why the rating is only a 7. Maybe also, couple of sunbeds by the pool would be good

Everytime I booked the host called or they would send a whatsapp. I never booked in as I couldnt get in property. I came to jhb for a work conference. I know it was late but like I said someone dropped me off. The host didnt even ask the following day what happend they never made contact. Myself did send a whatsapp. Would like a refund pleass

Everything except that there is hardly hot water, we had call the host and report water being cold, then she said she forgot to switch on the geyser, like🥴 and on our last 2 days there was no hot water again! No communication whatsoever. The day we checked out there was no electricity. We thought it was load shedding, only to find out on the last minute of checking out when we called the host to enquire about electricity, only to be told it was not load shedding, it was electricity problem in the entire centurion. No communication at!!!

Quiet, quaint garden cottage, set in leafy surroundings, situated close to main road (R511 and N14) between Hartbeespoort and Centurion. Full kitchen, onsite secure Parking, pool and Braai area.

I like the fact that it’s on the outskirts of Pretoria and you’re by the mountains and you can get to peep horses in the cut

I didn’t like the fact that the morning after we booked cause of the lighting there was a struggle with water and that the electricity for some reason would randomly go off. It also seems like the rai was able to go inside the roof and probably went through the ceiling hitting the electrical box

Lovely quiet place which was exactly what we needed. Spent some time with the beautiful horses which was great. Dawn and her son were always available to assist us with any requests.
