Brilliant location ,loads of little touches that made it friendly and welcoming

Fridge & microwave was handy and onsite parking.

Room was very tired looking. Had a smell of damp. We had an awful night's sleep, we knew it was near the station but the trains weren't a problem, they started doing track maintenance at 4am with lots of loud banging and drilling. I know it can't be helped but wouldn't stay again just in case.

Didn't gave breakfast and the location was perfect.

Have stayed before , comfortable room and an ideal location with parking for walking access the city centre. would not hesitate to use again in the future.

Local to the centre, just a few minutes walk. Simple to gain access to the room, and the great bonus of free private parking on-site. Staff (David), answered every question promptly, and offered us the use of the car park before our room was ready. Great

Great shower, good size and quality of TV, was lovely to have a fridge and microwave to the room to make some meals, bed was very comfortable, staff was very friendly.

Milk was off when I put it in my coffee in the morning, sachets milk could be put in fridge to keep cold, the handle keep on sticking to awkward to open, ear plugs don't really work very well.

Everything I needed

The hotel has many qualities that made my stay pleasant. Its location is excellent: just a short walk from the city center and close to main tourist attractions, which made exploring the city extremely easy and enjoyable. Self check‑in and check‑out were smooth and efficient. I also appreciated the overall cleanliness of the room, the quiet atmosphere, and the comfortable room, which offered good space and useful wardrobes for storing clothes. Parking was convenient, even if not bookable in advance.

There are a few aspects that could be improved to make the experience even better. The bathroom was internal without a window. The curtains let in some light early in the morning due to the lack of shutters or blackout blinds, which might affect sleep for light sleepers.

Was impressed that there was a fridge and microwave. I had an issue with the room code - as I had booked it a couple of months ago the message had dropped off the site. When I messaged about the code the property responded very quickly and were very helpful. Can hear the trains from the room but the property supplied ear plugs so this wasn't an issue.

As I walked up the stairs it smelt like there was an excessive use of air fresheners. (but couldn't smell this in the room)

Great location for Lancaster centre. Very clean. Had well thought out extras such as a microwave, cutlery and washing up liquid/sponge. Fan was included in the room, useful in this heat, especially if you didn’t want to have the windows open. Shower was nice and powerful. The host was really accommodating with our room booking and moved our family so we had 2 rooms close together.

I have wanted to stay in this lovely little guest house at the railway station for years, intrigued and curious to see what it was like inside. I'm happy to say it was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The lay out of the room and facilities were good, having a fridge and microwave was useful. The location couldn't be better, opposite the station, right in the centre of town, though you you couldn't here the trains or traffic with the windows closed. Having a large fan was great in thus hot weather. I'll definitely book again.

Die Unterkunft ist vom Bahnhof aus sehr gut zu erreichen und zu Fuß ist man auch sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Kühlschrank, Mikowelle und Wasserkocher sind vorhanden.

Es gab leider keinen Fön. Den Bahnverkehr hört man bei offenem Fenster, wor konnten trotzdem gut schlafen.

Location was great, right next to train station and only a 5 minute walk to everything, shops, pubs, restaurants. Room had all we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay and if I go back to Lancaster I would be looking to book here again.

This gem of a guest house well exceeded my expectations. So close to the station for my onward journey. Key entry was very simple and ran smoothly. I found it quiet, no noise from other guests. Good size car park and short walk into town centre for shops, cafes and restaurants

I am a little disabled and found the stairs quite steep when navigating with my case. This state is not a critique just an observation

Great location, fab value for money, fridge, microwave and basic crockery/cutlery provided as well as tea and coffee making facilities and a bistro table/chairs. The owners are clear that it is budget friendly so don’t expect high end fittings, but it was very clean, well kept and the bed was very comfortable.

Convenient and cozy guest house close to Lancaster Train Station. Easy self access. Decent room with the most needed necessities. If you’re okay with a very low key and homely feeling. This is your go to place. Short walk to Lancaster Castle and the city center for shops and restaurants.

But quite a lot of noise coming from the station - trains arriving/departing etc. During the night big and noisy cargo trains woke me up a good amount of times. Ear plugs definitely needed for sleeping. Especially in summer time with windows open.

Close to the train station, but ear plugs were provided bedside. Shower was a bit cramped for a fat guy but had good pressure. I hate duvets and there were no other options, so i didn't sleep well. There was no hot water when I got there, but British plumbing is weird so I couldn't be sure i wasn't doing something wrong. I took a cold sink bath and sent a message asking how to get hot water. The boiler had gone out. I wasn't the idiot this time.

This truly is a little gem of a place. A lovely cottage feel with lovely flowered entrance. Was quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. No hustle and bustle. The room was of a good size double. The bed very comfortable. En-suite more than adequate. The shower, 10 out of 10.. really powerful and invigorating to boost you into the day ahead. Having very large window gave the room a lot of natural daylight, I would whole heartedly recommend this guest house. Extremely convenient to the station being just 100 yards from stepping out the station. For what you pay I felt I received a very good deal. I am returning there for a couple of nights stay in 5 days time.

A bit tired and needs updating,garish bed sheets and towels and the shower tray filled up when using it so you had to be quick in the shower,there were hairs stuck to the shower wall when we arrived which was a bit off putting
