The Finsbury Park Hotel

The place wasn’t that clean, you could hear everything happening in the house (like when somebody came back and the neighbours in other rooms). We had TV, but no remote. Shower door almost fell on us the first day, afterwards we knew not to touch it. The bed was small and very uncomfortable. The worst part was that on the last day, when we were still sleeping at 9 am, someone from the staff came in the room, but backed off when we started yelling.

It was clean, nicely presented, the room was like the advert (the photos are accurate)and it had AC. We stayed in a twin room (2single beds) there was enough space in the room and a decent sized wardrobe. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in the office both before we checked in and after we checked out. Good kitchenette area, oven with grill, microwave, kettle and toaster plus a hob (2rings) and a full sized sink. Some cutlery and crockery but not a full set for 2. There were some tea bags, coffee and sugar which was a bonus as I’d forgotten mine and didn’t want to buy a whole box from the shop just for 2 days. All in all a good stay, really close to the tube, clean and useful to be able to cook rather than having to pay to eat out all the time.

The shower cubicle is tiny, I am a plus size girl but don’t usually have trouble with hotel showers but this was squeeze in through the tiny gap the doors left and could only stand upright, barely enough room to turn around. The mattresses were a little thin and I didn’t see a mattress protector sheet. The wardrobe could do with having doors on so when you cook your clothes don’t smell of the cooking (or keep them in your suitcase. These are just little niggles which if sorted would make it a definite stay for every London trip and take the accommodation up a level. The area is run down and there are sometimes some questionable things going on in the vicinity (people taking hard drugs etc in the daytime) but it’s Finsbury Park which is sort of known for being a bit rough in places. Nobody bothered us at all, just for some people it may be a bit too much.

Tem estação de metro e supermercados e restaurantes muito perto. Boas conexões por transporte para o aeroporto. A cama era muito confortável e oferecia shampô e gel de banho, e incluía secador e tábua para passar a ferro. Tinha serviço de streaming na televisão.

Não foram limpar o quarto quando pusemos o indicativo no lado de fora da porta como nos indicaram. Para além disso forneceram muito pouco papel higiénico e papel de cozinha já que só nos deram 1 rolo de cada que nem vinha completo. Tem muito poucos utensílios de cozinha o que torna difícil confecionar refeições, mas dá para o básico. Era bom ter mesas de cabeceira.

I have stayed in this hotel on multiple occasions in the family studios. The location is perfect. Its clean and comfortable and we always have everything we need for a night or two. My children find it comfortable and pleasant too.

For the first time staying in this hotel we were put on the ground floor family studio it had paint peeling off the wall next to the single bed, the side bed lamp next to the double bed kept going on and off all night. There was mould in the shower room above the shower and wood peeling off the vanity under the sink. The shower cubicle was also very small and I could barely fit in it.

Ens ha encantat aquest allotjament. L’habitació és moníssima i està molt ben ubicat. Veníem en cotxe i poder tenir l’opció d’aparcar al mateix hotel ens ha estalviat un mal de cap.

Hem trobat a faltar una mica més de vaixella: algun plat i got més, tasses, tisores…

L’établissement est à proximité du métro donc très pratique pour rejoindre le centre de Londres. La cuisine est très bien équipée et la chambre est top.

L’emplacement était intéressant : proche du métro et dans un quartier avec de chouettes adresses pour manger.

La salle de bain était très petite et le lit plutôt petit pour 2 personnes.

Our studio was clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and had the usual things provided for us such as iron, hairdryer etc. It was a great location as less than tens mins walk from Finsbury St.

We were in ground floor without possibility to open windows because complitly lack of privacy . During the night shouting of people , road clean machine etc…. Might disturb your dreams. Bathroom was very small, having showers for medium size man might be challenging . Wall behind the beds was severely damaged due to humidity . Refrigerator was licking water due not perfect sealing between contact surfaces ( it has been fixed by the owner property ). Location is perfect for visiting downtown by the way this zone is not so safe .

Ubytování odpovídá popisu na booking.com. Dostatečný prostor na přespávání. Místo na uložení v policích, věšák s ramínky. Kuchyňský kout solidní velikosti, vybavení minimální. Hrnky, skleničky, velké a malé talířky, misky, příbory, velké a malé lžičky po dvou, jeden hrnec a pánvička. Naběračka a něco na míchání vajíček a pod. Jeden malý ostrý nůž (délka ostří cca 3 palce). Hodilo by se prkénko na krájení a větší nůž a také utěrka na nádobí. Koupelna malá, hlavně hodně malé umyvadlo, sprchový kout dobrý, místa kolem wc minimum. Pro větší postavy může být nepohodlné. Úklidová služba denně. Velké plus je klimatizace. Velikost 10 m2 uvedená v popisu neodpovídá skutečnosti - myslím, že je to víc.

Velmi malé umyvadlo, ale vzhledem k uspořádání není jiné řešení. Do kuchyně byl by dobrý jeden větší ostrý nůž, prkénko na krájení a přidat nádobí, pár hrnků, sklenic, příbory, lžíce atd. a utěrka na nádobí. Na manželské posteli jedna velké společná přikrývka.

L'emplacement est juste top , au calme et pourtant proche d'un parc et d'un bowling. Le métro et les bus sont a proximité immédiate ( non négligeable quand on fait 15 kms par jours ) , ainsi que de quoi manger ( lidl, épicerie , m et s , avec fermeture tardive ) , ma fille étant mineure nous n'avons pas été aux pub le soir mais c'est également généreusement fournis. L'appartement bien que petit était tout confort et suffisant pour 3. La cuisine semble être peu vieille, j'ai aimé le revêtement moderne style en dekton blanc. Le nombre de prises étaient largement confortable pour nous et j'ai apprécié le ménage fait. Notre arrivée tardive n'a géné en rien , l'accueil a été très sympathique.

Il manquerait cependant un coup d'entretien niveau peinture à cause de l'humidité, nous n'avons pas séjourné pendant un temps pluvieux mais je suppose que c'est humide en temps normal , la peinture a certain endroits est auréolé et/ ou effrité. Le petit frigo coulait de part la glace accumulé, le peu que nous nous en sommes servis avions les pieds mouillés, dommage. Au niveau de l'évier , dommage que le robinet soit si près du mur ce qui abime le jolie revêtement. La douche étant très très petite , au moindre coup donné à la paroi l'eau coulait partout et donc innondation c'est un peu dommage ça abîme les revêtements.

Servizio di pulizia camere ottimo e il rapporto qualità prezzo penso sia il migliore che abbia trovato fino ad ora, tutti gli altri hotel o bnb per lo stesso periodo erano almeno al doppio del prezzo! Inoltre la vicinanza alla metro rende questo posto una posizione strategica. Camera molto carina, pulita e ordinata. Letti e biancheria comodi e puliti, l’ac riesce a rinfrescare tutta la camera in poco tempo.

Purtroppo il quartiere nel quale è situato non è dei migliori, un sacco di sporcizia e persone losche sono presenti in tutto il vicinato, soprattutto nell’area adiacente alla stazione necessaria per spostarsi. Purtroppo per quanto la struttura sia accogliente questo è stato un grosso punto a sfavore in quanto per evitare l’aria pericolosa del quartiere siamo sempre dovuti rientrare relativamente presto. Anche rientrando a un orario di luce siamo stati infastiditi da passanti che ci hanno fischiato e urlato, meglio stare attenti se si gira in zona di sera. L’unico problema della camera è il bagno molto piccolo ma per qualche giorno non è un grande problema.

The accommodation was excellent — very clean and equipped with everything needed. The staff were extremely kind and always ready to help. The location is fantastic - the underground and bus station being just a short walk away is a big advantage. There are also several shops in the neighbourhood, as well as great and affordable places to eat or have a drink.

La chambre était spacieuse, la litterie correcte.

Le quartier très peu sécurisant, surtout seven sisters roads, bruits la nuit dans la rue. La douche trop petite, pas de torchon pour la vaisselle, un seul rouleau de papier toilette.

Le logement est bien situé, les chambres sont suffisamment grandes et il y a les équipements nécessaires.

L’établissement est très mal insonorisé, la salle de bain est minuscule, les équipements de cuisine n’étaient pas propre, certains ne fonctionnaient pas. Les draps avaient des taches et des trous.

Huone todella pieni, eikä ikkunaa ulos eikä ruokapöytää tai -tuoleja vain pienet jakkarat. Kuvat eivät siis vastaa kaikkia huoneita! Ruoanlaittoon tarkoitetut välineet todella huonot, teflonpannu naarmuilla ja vain yksi syvä kattila. Sänky todella epämukava ja seinillä random roiskeita. Äänieristys olematon.

Bathroom way too small. The shower cubicle was ok if you're a thin child and the sink which was so tiny you couldn't brush your teeth without getting water everywhere!

the location is fantastic 5 mins walking from the nearest tube 1-2 mins to bus stop lidl is 3 mins away, asda 5 mins plenty of eateries nearby room is well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay, from cutleries to toiletries also glad to have had a functional aircon during the heatwave

Property needs some TLC - peeling paint on walls, chipped furniture, ripped duvet covers and very expensive parking, £20 per night (which we were not aware of on booking)

The hotel was pleasant, and the room was cosy and comfortable. My only complaints were that there was quite a lot of noise from other guests, which made it difficult to relax at times, and there wasn't much choice on the TV, as the available app offered very limited viewing options. Overall, I had a pleasant stay despite these minor issues.

What I liked most about the hotel was the wonderful staff. The receptionist and every member of the team were so kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very spacious and perfect for our family of three, with plenty of room to relax. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and we will definitely come and stay here again whenever we visit London.

There was nothing I didn't like about the room or the hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We had a wonderful stay and couldn't fault anything.

We booked this hotel for its location (close to shops and stations) and its relatively low price. The buildings look old but the facilities are brand new. They have thick windows, wooden floors, modern shower, and they even have an air conditioner in the room. The room is super clean. We’ve met three staffs during the stay, and all of them are friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. I completely recommend this hotel.

Couldn’t hang clothes up because the wardrobe rail was broken. No bulb in bedside lamp and the receptionist didn’t have spares. Showerhead wouldn’t stay up, faulty bracket.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Very good amenities, with an oven, hob, microwave and kettle. Well equipped bathroom with hair and body wash. Air con was very good in the hot weather.

The shower door was a bit tricky to open. The outside of the hotel isn’t very obviously labeled.

Property was located very close to main underground so convenient. Staff were helpful and friendly. Had everything that was needed and super clean!

Check in time was 3pm but we couldnt get in till 4pm missing part of the gig we had travelled to London for. Poor communication from the manager who left staff deal rp with the escalation and wouldnt speak to us on the phone .poor management skills

Very clean and modern, there was all we could need in the room, which itself was huge and we really appreciated the air conditioning!

There isn't much to fault with this place. The room was clean and modern and the staff were very accommodating with room selection. The entry and check out was quick and cleaning staff were pleasant. Close to local pubs and finsbury park. Bus, tube and train station all within a 3 minute walk. The room was equipped with air con, packed with a full kitchen set up and utensils, iron and board and a hairdryer. Washing condiments and plenty of loo roll. Absolutely would stay again

The parking was at a charge, but I may have missed this in the listing? Also our room could have done with a full length mirror, but this in no way hindered the experience.

Good location for Finsbury Park events. Comfortable room and bed. Quiet in hotel. Toaster fridge etc in room for making own breakfast. Air conditioning worked and extra pillows arrived promptly when we asked.

Property was closely located to Finsbury Park and the station so was perfect for an event and trip to the city.

Check in is supposed to be from 3pm. We arrived at 3:40pm and was told that our room would not be ready until 4:30pm. No compensation was offered and this was very inconvenient as we had places to be at specific times.

The bed at room 3 seems broken? There's a side of it that's sinking and was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Also wished that the blind completely closed off the sunlight :(

Extremely close to Finsbury park (literally at the end of the street!) which was perfect for the event we were attending there. The room was large and well equipped. To my delight, the room had Air conditioning which was superb news with the heat! We set it going then returned to a lovely cool room to sleep in. This is not a fancy hotel, it's great for people wanting a base while exploring, attending an event etc. Great location for that. The staff were friendly. Car parking available at £20 per stay, though it is quite tight, I drive a qashqai and had to do a multiple point turn - and move a large laundry storage container to the other side of the car park to be able to get out! But it's secure, gated entry, plus CCTV cameras manned by reception, so I felt safe leaving the car there.

The room itself needed a bit of a refresh. Chipped paintwork, one of the beds had ripped sheets, and the tiling in the bathroom was past it's best (grout turning black in places) but didn't affect our stay, just cosmetic attention needed. It was clean. Was quite noisy but I'm aware that's due to other guests attending the event at the park, no fault of the hotel, I am sure on non event days it would be quieter at night.
