The room was excellent, it was clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food and menu choices were of an exceptional high quality and it was good to see so many gluten free options readily available.

Do not stay at this property!! We had a booking at this property and on arrival was told by the manager Richard that our booking had previously been cancelled and they could not accommodate us as they were full. I contacted booking.com as my booking was still live on my app and they had taken my money. Richard gave us proof of cancellation but when booking.com contacted this hotel they told them we had stayed there and they had taken our money! Thus we never got a refund! I also contacted The Cae Mor Hotel with no response. This whole experience was very disappointing and reflects very poorly on the management of this property. Therefore I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and have written this review to avoid others from going through this experience and also losing their money.

I cannot find anything about the Cae Mor that I could complain about there were only good things. The staff were very friendly and attentive the food was good it was very clean and it had a lift. The hotel looked very inviting from the outside and it was just a short walk from the town there was also a shopping village if that’s what they are called even nearer with most main brand stores. It is situated right on the sea front and there is a good sized car park for people staying there.

It's not ideal if your main aim is to be amongst the action around the pier area because it's a 10 -15 minute walk from the hotel. However, if you are staying to see a performance at the theatre, there's nowhere better.

On two of the nights we stayed we had very noisy neighbours. Slamming doors and shouting between 11.30 and 12.30

Overall it was good to return to the hotel after several years absence. The food was excellent however getting a late night drink using cash was not possible. This was disappointing. The location and facilities are excellent.

The staff for excellent and went above and beyond for us when our little one was taken ill in the middle of the night all the staff on shift went out on a limb for us and we were very grateful as a family we were there celebrating after my son got married and will definitely be there to celebrate their first wedding anniversary

This is a well situated hotel with lovely clean modern rooms. The Noble Isle toiletries smell gorgeous, and tea and coffee making facilities are great. I would 100% stay here again, but I would book a slightly bigger room with bath.

The bed was a small double compared to the other hotels we stayed in during this roadtrip, so a little tight for 2, and the matress a little soft for me, but I'm being picky because actually this hotel is great.

The staff were friendly. The hotel room was in good condition. The beds were super comfy. And I absolutely loved the beach view from my room window.

This is a beautiful hotel. Great location, lovely staff, immaculately clean & gorgeous food.

Although we were aware we were booking a small double, the room was so tiny! You couldn’t even bend over to put socks on. Should definitely be a single room as it is uncomfortable for two people. Actually spoiled our stay but no other rooms were available at the time.

The location was perfect and having their own car park is a plus. Very stylish decor that has been modernised. The bar area was lovely to have a drink in the evening. The bedroom was exceptional and so big!

Room 110 was very small Noisy air-con units are positioned Just below the window, and I barely slept. No staff asked how our stay was, and I don't think they were bothered!

A beautiful hotel. Very clean and welcoming. Great sea view. Perfect location for visiting Venue cymru and close enough to walk to town, with the beach just across the road. Very handy to have parking here too. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist. I would definitely stay here again.

Lifts were so small, small pram couldn't fit in the lift, staff knew this but failed to make us aware of this issue, wouldn't take accountability, had to take 2 babies and 2 prams individually, resulting in 8 trips up and down just to enter and leave the hotel.

Location, quality and staff

Cae Mor was a perfect location for our visit to the theatre and having a get together with our friends. The rooms were all perfect. I only have one little thing that was partly my fault.... I forgot to ask for twin beds for one of the rooms. The lady on reception did give my friends the bedding to make up the sofa bed, but they both suffer with rhematoid arthritis, so it was a little difficult for them. I did not realise until they had done it themselves. I don't really think that guests should be expected to make up their own bed. However, everything else was really good. I just though you should know for anything like this in the future.

I have mentioned this above, but it is only a small detail regarding my friends having to make up the sofa bed themselves.

Location by the theatre was excellent, staff really helpful, room was fantastic with great sea views and free parking a real bonus. Restaurant was also great and good value.

Gorgeous location, beautiful room with an amazing view, bathroom, bath and shower were stunning.

The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful to the extent i felt the need to bring up their unprofessionalism with them.

Zentrale Lage an Promenade, fußläufig zu Pier, Stadt und Tram. Privater Parkplatz, der groß genug für alle Gäste ist. Hübsches Familien-Zimmer mit schöner und moderner Einrichtung, Meerblick und Sofaecke. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant, nette Tische draußen und schöne Bar und Lounge. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Nur wenige kleine Details: Leider gab es kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad, das könnte vielleicht nachgerüstet werden, die Dusche ist groß, das Waschbecken aber sehr klein. Schön wären auch noch ein bis zwei kleine Stühle im Zimmer, um Kleidung ablegen und lüften zu können, damit das Sofa zum Sitzen freibleibt. Die Klimaanlage in Restaurant und Bar war für unseren persönlichen Geschmack meist viel zu stark und kalt eingestellt.

Location was great. Hotel was very clean. Furnishing were lovely. Air conditioning was great in the hot weather.

I stated on the booking form that my husband and I had food intolerances. I sent an email 3 weeks in advance to let the Hotel know of our specific food requirements in readiness for an evening meal booked and 2 breakfasts. When we arrived for the evening meal the waitress knew nothing about our requirements and I had to give her a copy of the email. The breakfast the following morning was fine after I had advised the waitress but the day after she had forgotten our intolerances. A system needs implementing in the dining area if visitors with intolerences have given advance notice of their requirements.

Specifically booked because of the proximity to the theatre and also having a private car park. Discovered that the restaurant was excellent as well.

Excellent location. Friendly welcome. Room was compact but had absolutely everything you’d need …… Tea, coffee, complimentary water, etc.. Also eye mask, dental kit, sewing kit - the list was endless. The ladies at breakfast were friendly and welcoming. A good choice for breakfast too. Didn’t have an evening meal as the restaurant was full so can’t comment on the quality of the food or menu apart from breakfast which was tasty.

Lounge didn’t have a lot of atmosphere……perhaps it needed some background music. Stairs and hallways were a little dark but I assume this was an energy saving measure. Walls were a little thin

Very small room though, only for 1 night, but could not store all our luggage, and tiny wardrobe!!

The location is great especially for the theatre which we go to on several occasions. The car park is good as have some disability issues and nice to be able to park by hotel with luggage etc. Breakfast was well presented, served in pleasant surroundings, staff polite, friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and modern, clean, bright, great TV, was nice to have the use of a fridge. Having some mobility issues was nice to have a spacious, walk in shower, very pleased with our stay.

Found the bed was very high, being of short stature and limited mobility had to have the use of a step to get on it,bed was comfortable once on it. Feel that as standard the booking out time could be a bit later than 10am,the majority of hotels that we have used tend to be 11am,even 10.30 am would give a bit more leeway after having breakfast, the day we booked out breakfast service was extremely slow, we sat down at 20 to 9am and waited a full hour for breakfast when it arrived the egg was inedible, we felt rushed having only 10mins to eat our cooked breakfast as 10am check out, as breakfast is served til 10 maybe slightly later booking out time would be helpful and less stressed. Other than that everything else was great.

A lovely warm welcome at reception. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and pleasant. The rooms have been beautifully remodelled. The public areas are modern and fresh. Breakfast was delicious. Most important too is the parking, game changer!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and newly renovated, with a lovely seafront view. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. We arrived before check-in, and they kindly stored our luggage so we could start exploring right away. As a thoughtful surprise for our anniversary, they also left a slice of cake in our room, which made our celebration even more special. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of food. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again.

Good Location: Conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre and the pier. Spacious Room: The room was generously sized with plenty of space to move around comfortably. Comfortable Bed: The bed was semi-firm with just the right amount of cushioning. Breakfast: A good selection of hot breakfast items, and the warm pastries were particularly enjoyable. Shower: Excellent water pressure with a waterfall-style showerhead. View: The waterfront view was beautiful.

Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by two major issues. Noise: We were kept awake all night by loud music that could clearly be heard from our room, leaving us with virtually no sleep. We initially assumed the noise was coming from outside, but only discovered the following morning that music had accidentally been left playing overnight in the restaurant by a staff member. Staff Response: When we reported the issue, Jeanette was friendly and apologized for what had happened. However, our experience with the General Manager was disappointing. Despite the fact that the hotel was responsible for the disturbance, there was initially no offer of any refund , only complimentary breakfast. We had to negotiate from no compensation, to 20%, and eventually a 30% refund. Given that we lost an entire night's sleep and our following day was significantly affected, we felt the resolution did not adequately reflect the impact of the situation. While we appreciated Jeanette's professionalism, the handling of the complaint by management left us feeling disappointed and undervalued.
