We had a wonderful stay at Taiyo Hotel & Apartment. The room we received was very spacious, comfortable, and pleasant, and we really enjoyed our time there. The hotel staff were extremely kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. They assisted us with booking tickets and arranging transportation, which made everything much easier for us. A very special and touching gesture was when they surprised my daughter with a birthday cake on her birthday - it was such a lovely surprise and made the day even more memorable. A special thank you to Helen and Rio for their warm attitude, kindness, and willingness to help with anything we needed. Their excellent service really added to our positive experience. The location is also very convenient, with many restaurants nearby, as well as easy access to the beach and the promenade, which made it very pleasant to go out, walk around, and find places to eat. The breakfast was nice, although we only had it once because the breakfast hours were a little early for us. We had a great experience and would happily recommend Taiyo Hotel & Apartment to others. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!

The swimming pool is also a bit small, but overall these were only minor points and did not affect our very enjoyable stay.

All the front desk staff were kind and helpful. The location was also perfect. Breakfast was good enough. The room appliances work perfectly fine.

The pool is very outdated. Needs some serious TLC. The hotel has.no control but the music across the road at night is so loud that it feels like the band is in your room. Luckily the policy is that they have to stop by 11pm.

Een fantastisch hotel! Het personeel heeft ons een geweldige week bezorgd; ze zijn vriendelijk, attent, verwelkomend en hulpvaardig. Vooral Helen, Selena, Eric, Rio en Linda. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, kamer mooi en ruim met wasmachine en droger, erg handig. En ook nog uitzicht op de zee. Modern en schoon. Verder was er een mooi zwembad op het dak, met een kleine fitnessruimte. We komen zeker terug als we weer in de buurt zijn.

We spent three incredible weeks here, and honestly? This place absolutely delivered. We specifically chose Taiyo because we wanted an apartment, not a hotel room. And that’s exactly what we got: a full bathtub, washer AND dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, a proper workspace, and a separate bedroom. If you’re doing a workation, you might want a bit more desk space, but for a couple looking to actually live comfortably, this checks every box. Now, let’s talk about the noise situation, because in Da Nang, this is EVERYTHING. The city is booming with construction: step outside and you’re literally surrounded by it. In most apartments in this area, reviews scream about unbearable noise. Here? We could barely hear our neighbors through the wall. That alone was worth it. Fair warning: Friday evenings will bring Vietnamese karaoke from next door. But with the blackout curtains doing their thing, you’ll fall asleep just fine and those curtains, by the way, are LEGENDARY for afternoon naps. Southeast Asia sun? Completely defeated. One thing nobody talks about enough: humidity here is no joke. Your clothes will not dry on their own. The in-unit dryer was an absolute game change: especially coming back soaked from the beach every day. The AC even has a dry mode, which tells you everything you need to know about the climate. Speaking of the beac. it’s four minutes away on foot. They hand you fresh towels every time you head out and collect them when you return. No hanging wet things on the balcony, no hauling beach bags. Just pure, effortless vacation energy. The room is cleaned daily. Fresh towels, clean bedding, dishes handled, toilet paper restocke, you literally never have to think about any of it. And the Japanese toilet. I’m not even going to try to explain it. Just know that it’s a work of art and it will change your life. Breakfast runs from 6:30 to 10:00 AM and it’s genuinely good, not the sad hotel buffet you’ve learned to dread. But the real M

Our room had a decent sea view with some nice green plants on a small balcony. The room was very well-equipped with a spacious shower, comfy bed, a small but functional kitchen, AND a washer and a dryer too! (the Japanese toilet was also a pleasant surprise). The rooftop pool offered a great panoramic view of the beachfront. The location is right inside the An Thuong area (which is south of My Khe Beach, the main area with many expat-friendly cafes, bars and restaurants). The breakfast had a good selection, and we were particularly liked the Vietnamese dishes. To top it all off, Rio, Lisa and the entire staff were super friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with everything from booking a scooter to providing local travel top tips. Highly recommended if you ever pass by Danang!

The only minor points were that the gym was well-equipped but rather small (so if you're working out solo that's fine, but more than 1 person wouldn't fit). Also the European pastry options weren't quite as fresh as the Vietnamese dishes, but this is also understandable - we're in Vietnam afterall!

Taiyo is a fantastic hotel in a great location, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with a unique style. The Wi-Fi is some of the fastest I’ve found in da nang as there is a router inside each room. The staff was incredibly kind especially Rio & Helen. If I ever come back to da nang this will be my top choice to stay.

Due to the location it can get quite loud at night, oftentimes the sound continues until around 3am, so either plan to stay up late or bring some earbuds. This is not the hotels problem tho, it’s just a trade-off for being in a great location.

The swimming is extremely small. It can get noisy at night. The breakfast options were limited for vegetarians. They didn’t have cheese or Nutella/ chocolate sauce etc.

We loved the pool, buffet breakfast, and convenient location. The staff were friendly. The beds were really comfortable. Walking distance to the beach. Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment- 2 adults and 2 children.

Room was great, washing machine and dryer were the reason I booked the room and was very glad of clean clothes. Comfy bed. Rooftop pool lovely. Really good location.

The breakfast wasn't to my taste particularly so I didn't bother after the first day. The air con in my room was so fierce that combined with the humidity I had to sleep in a literally wet bed! It was nasty, but I set the air con to dry mode (with the internet telling me only for 1-2 hours or I would have a sore throat etc) for two and a half days and I had dry bedding again! I've not had this in any other hotel in Asia or in Europe so not sure why here?

The highlight of my stay was definitely the room; it felt more like a spacious, well-appointed apartment than a standard hotel room. It was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable, featuring a full kitchen and the massive convenience of an in-room washing machine and dryer. Having a bathtub was also a lovely bonus. The location is unbeatable—everything from cafes and restaurants to the beach, ATMs, and convenience stores is just a couple of minutes away on foot. Additionally, the staff was fantastic to deal with; being able to message them via WhatsApp made communication incredibly easy and efficient throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

While the stay was great, there are a few areas for improvement, particularly regarding the facilities. The swimming pool is nice, but it desperately needs umbrellas or some form of shelter, as there is currently no shade and it becomes uncomfortably hot. It would also be much more convenient if pool towels were available at the pool area rather than having to collect them from reception, and a poolside drinks service would be a welcome addition. While the breakfast was adequate with good coffee and a rotating menu, some of the buffet food items were unfortunately a bit cold. However, it was nice to be able to order freshly cooked eggs and soup. Lastly, the gym equipment is fine, but the room itself is very cramped, making it difficult for more than one or two people to use the space at the same time.

Das Personal und der Service waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Apartment war geräumig und war schön. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es jeden Morgen etwas anderes, also sehr vielfältig und es gab insgesamt sehr gutes Essen.

Im Apartment war die Klimaanlage ziemlich feucht, das heißt der Geruch war etwas modrig und die Luft war dauerhaft feucht, sodass die Klamotten nicht trocknen konnten und alles etwas angefeuchtet war. Womöglich war die Klimaanlage etwas defekt.

The room was great! We were only in Da Nang for 1 night but if we could have stayed longer we would have. Would happily come back. The staff were all very friendly too, Bo was very helpful with our bags and welcoming us to our room! The rooms are really modern and has a great kitchen set up, the washer dryers are SO helpful too.

Sehr zuvorkommendes aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal. Suzi und Rio waren immer sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechselungsreich, alles frisch und es wurde immer alles nachgelegt. Das Zimmer war riesig mit Ausblick zum Meer. Zum Strand sind es ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß ... Die Luxustoilette werden wir sehr vermissen 😉

Staff is great: interested, caring and helpful. Relatively new property, clean, very well-maintained, just 28 rooms, so it never seems swarmed. Just a very few minutes to the beach, adjacent to the international zone with all its eateries and services. I spent 22 nights here, satisfied with all. Small gym, rooftop pool, reasonable breakfast selection given the wide range of cultures staying at any one time.

The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. During rainy season they provided umbrellas, and motorbike rentals were very close by and reasonably priced. The hotel also feels very new—my room was modern, well equipped, and comfortable. Plus, the beach nearby is beautiful.

The area is quite touristy and busy, and while the room was great, it could have been a bit more spacious.

This hotel/apartment exceeded my expectations in every way! I stayed in the one bedroom apartment for 3 weeks and it was perfect. The added bonus of a washer and dryer in the unit was great! The staff take such good care of you (especially Linda and Lisa at the front desk). The location was phenomenal, walk to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and markets in practically seconds. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Minor thing, but there is some construction and street noise now and then. Again, very minor and just part of living in My An.

Потрясающий отель. Очень рада, что выбрала именно его. Великолепный сервис, апарты, гостеприимные сотрудники. Завтраки очень вкусные. Было так комфортно и уютно, что через несколько дней создалось ощущение, будто ты дома. Недалеко от центра Дананга, до аэропорта 10-15 минут. Рядом очень много спа, ресторанов. Спасибо за такой потрясающий сервис, было безумно грустно уезжать.

There is construction happening around the hotel but that did not interfere with our stay. There is construction everywhere in Da nang. Отель прекрасно расположен рядом много кафешек и ресторанов, близко до облагороженной части пляжа. Номера новые, хорошо спроектированные и обставленные. Кухня оборудована всем необходимым, есть стиральная машина и сушилка - очень удобно! Вкусный завтрак, есть из чего выбрать. Очень приветливый персонал! Будем вспоминать с теплотой и постараемся вернуться снова!

Немного напрягали звуки с ближайших строек, но окна создают не плохую шумоизоляцию. А так достаточно сложно найти отель на побережье без стройки поблизости) Так же очень странно сделан душ/ванная - как бы ты не принимал душ - весь пол будет в воде. В ванной нет занавески, а у душа порожка доя препятствия распространения воды по полу.

We stayed here for about one month and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were so nice. We had the one bedroom suite and it was really nice. And the location is great, a short walk to the beach and dozens of restaurants. Highly recommended!
