Beautiful old colonial bungalow. Pool is lovely. Wildlife spotting from the outdoor dining area. Great Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner from the caretaker/chef (but make sure you let him know you want Sri Lankan food, not western).

Lots of mosquitoes at dusk means you have to retreat indoors.

Maison qui mériterait à être davantage entretenue. Située sur une artère bruyante la journée. Personnel qui ne tient pas trop compte des timings annoncés pour les repas ce qui est compliqué quand on a des enfants ou des impératifs … Et envoyer des pierres pour faire fuir les chats, un peu désuet au XXI eme siècle …

Absolutely gorgeous magical garden (the best we stayed at in Sri Lanka) and lux villa with beautiful styling. Super clean and smelt amazing. Lovely pool and breakfast was delicious. We LOVED our stay here. Very relaxing.

The place is amazing! Great space with 3 bedrooms and the staff were absolutely the best! Breakfast was one of the best we've had and the olace itself is stunning.

Security personnel and caretaker should be there full time! Private entrance to kitchen should be there so guests also not required to keep watch and wake up to let chef in! Power cuts we had which we resorted it on our own so we had power! What happens to those who cannot! There were also earth shocks in some switches, later we were informed it’s due to rain! Flask can be there!

Prawdziwa OAZA. Zieleń, spokój i relaks. Przepiękny ogród w którym od rana słyszysz śpiew egzotycznych ptaków. Czysty, przyjemny basen. Bardzo smaczne śniadania-polecam lankijskie! Dom urządzony w stylu kolonialnym, klasa sama w sobie :) Jeśli szukasz miejsca zdala od zgiełku i naganiaczy na plażach to miejsce idealne. Obsługa również na najwyższym poziomie, byli przygotowali na każdą okoliczność :) Córka obchodziła urodziny, dostała tort ze świeczkami! To był cudowny pobyt!

the Villa was extremely lovely, private, quiet, spacious, and amazing, it has everything one might need or want, an amazing place to spend some time with a lot of scenes to enjoy weather its the pool, the veranda, or the mid-garden lounging chair, overall amazing staff were also very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed

The house and surrounding garden are really beautiful, and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast is huge and delicious, and the team taking care of the house is super responsive and always available for anything you'll need, while also being extremely attentive and respectful of your privacy. Definitely one of the best stay of our 3 weeks trip, we would have gladly stayed longer, and we really hope we will come back.

Great pool and a great garden The team came running when we called them.

The property is in a very remote location, with no security personnel or staff on-site, leaving us completely on our own. Shortly after arrival, we encountered a large water monitor right next to the pool, which later climbed onto the rooftop. There was also a toad inside the room, which was unsettling for the children. To make matters worse, the power went out, plunging the entire property into darkness—with no generator or backup power available. This combination of safety concerns and lack of basic amenities deeply disturbed our kids, and we had no choice but to vacate within a few hours of arrival. Despite the situation, the hosts were only willing to offer a $50 refund after extended discussions.

Everything was great. Expect to see a lot of monitor lizards, toads. We weren’t thrilled about it though.

Stunning property with the friendliest staff!

Absolutely a peaceful, Serene, secluded location and atmosphere from the rest of the Galle experiences. Typically we go to Galle for the beach but the location is right infront of a main road but it is a true hidden peace of solitary crafted with art and craft. Everywhere you turn you have something to spot and enjoy. The plunge pool, verandah, dinning area and the bedrooms are the best. On a special note I want to thank to thank the staff for helping me to make my daughter's birthday extra special taking my instructions to arrange the breakfast table and the Kiribath clover cake. They were extremely supportive, attentive and friendly. Especially Charith was a gteat host.

I wasn't very happy hapoy with the bathroom it was more dark and lack ventilation. But it was kept clean.

From reservation to checkout, flowless. I have never experienced such a professional and friendly team in any villa. Thank you so much, Medusa team. The villa is perfect. I didn't expect such a clean and fully equipped kitchen. Also, there is a separate cupboard full of utensils and plates etc. The garden and outdoor tables and outdoor bed is perfect. The garden is well maintained, completely natural. There were lots of birds and squirrels etc. The pool is exceptional. The caretakers leave the villa after explaining everything, so 100% privacy. The sri lankan breakfast was amazing. Bathrooms were very clean and with hot water. Easy access from express way so just about an hour away from colombo.

The villa was secluded and beautiful. Just what we needed for a short getaway. Breakfast was served on time daily and it was great - delicious and lots of variety. We got there an hour before our expected time and the hosts were accommodating about the change in time and met us at the villa when we got there. We'd definitely stay here again!

The best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka! Great, friendly, carrying staff, and an amazing villa surrounded by a beautiful garden and a unique swimming pool. The villa is very well equipped should you wish to also cook for yourself. We wish we could stay longer.

This accomodation was amazing. Very beautiful garden, pool and rooms. Breakfast was very good (one of the best we had in Sri Lanka) and all the stuff was super lovely. We stayed with small kids and they all loved it. It is very quiet there and peacefull. It is about 15 minutes by tuk tuk to Galle or to the beach, so the location was also convenient. We enjoyed our stay there very much. We choose it as a last relaxing place at the end of our Sri Lanka stay and it definitelly ticked all the boxes.

The property itself was very private and relaxing. The staff was exceptional!

The garden and pool area is simply breathtaking. Make sure to use mosquito spray after it gets dark. The nature in general: flora and fauna are beautiful. We saw monkeys, squirrels, monitors. Only thing missing was a cat.

Everything about this house was amazing! the house, the garden, the pool , the service! Amilani was a great host accommodating all our needs. Breakfast was exceptional, freshly prepared at the house. Pictures don't do this place enough justice. The only thing to consider is that the distance to Galle is about 20-25 minutes.

A beautiful old house with a well-kept garden. The manager and the staff willingly fulfilled all our wishes. Great breakfast. To the pool straight from the corridor. So far it is the nicest house we have visited in Sri Lanka.

Peaceful place with the most beautiful garden with rich animal life with colourful birds and sweet squirrels. Wonderful outdoor facilities, small pool and comfortable beds. We stayed here with four children (one 8month old) and had the best of time! Sweet and helpful staff. Thank you so much!

It is far from restaurants and you need tuctuc to get there. However, there is a small baker and family owned takeaway place 5 mins walk. Very authentic.

Good variety of cooked ingredients + fruits. we had bith Sri Lankan + english brrakfasts. served carefully + cheerfully outside on antique jackfruit wood table.

This is a beautifully maintained old Sri Lankan villa, with a lovely garden and an excellent staff team who take care of the property, provide breakfast and offer whatever help might be needed. We enjoyed being in a quiet spot, around a 20 minute drive from Galle and other points of interest in the coast, listening to birds in the garden and swimming in the pool.

The staff was amazing. The place is in a calm environment and the services are phenomenal. They have given there maximum to maintain property as an antique masterpiece. The hostess, Amilani was wonderful. The remarkable area was the pool area. It was clean and fresh.

The Bungalow is a must rent. Hidden away in the outskirts of Galle, it's an unique expirience. It's huge and clean and has a wonderful, upkept garden around. There are sunbeds in the garden and an outdoor shower. All rooms are equipped with AC and fans, you have a small kitchen (with a really large fridge), a huge barbeque and a washing mashine at your disposal. The biggest surplus is the pool in which you can virtually plunge out of the backdor. Additionally you have a roofed terrasse where you can enjoy the delicous meals and breakfast the host Ami is providing. You can also choose what you would like for breakfast (try it, go for the Sri Lankan option, you will not regret it!). As the host lives near by, there is a fast solution for any issues you might have. The car can be parked on the premises and hidden away from the street.

As a larger road is close by, you will hear the Tuck Tucks and Busses honking, but this is just to know, it's not hindering sleep - I guess that's just normal in Sril Lanka.
