Lätt att komma till, hade bilen nära entrén. Det var rymligt för två personer, hade alla bekvämligheter.

Vi hade sett fram emot havsutsikt men rummet hade inte utsikt vilket jag senare kunde läsa mig till i bokningen. Vi hade problem med Wifi.

The scenery was the luxury. It is an amazing place to stay

Nice location with easy access to beach (our room was not beach facing, which was indeed mentioned at the time of booking). Wonderful host. Kitchenette with all the basic appliances. Comfortable bed. Clean property with a cute backyard.

The washroom has a sliding door(which looks aesthetically pleasing). It may be a problem for those who are not comfortable going to toilet while other person can still see them and clearly hear what is going on inside

It was an exceptional experience. The host made sure we had the best experience. The view was simply amazing; I've never had such an experience.

The location is great. The bed was very comfortable and the host was lovely and very accommodating!

The room was nice and had everything we needed.

We did find some small bits of glass on the floor which was worrying. The shower had two temperatures...freezing and boiling so it was hard to wash. The reflective glass isnt that reflective and anyone who walked past saw right into the room. For £200 a night we were disappointed.

The view and peacefulness of the location was just what we were after.

Fantastic location views were amazing as it was such a beautiful day and night Friendly staff who showed us around our room . And told us just to phone if needed anything .. We stayed for 1 night and was so peaceful and quiet even though there were people in the other 2 rooms .highly recomend

The apartment was clean and cosy and the location was excellent and the view was amazing. The owners were lovely and very friendly and helpful.

The noisy toilet , just needed a bigger fridge and a small fold up washing up bowl to wash the pots.

The location was in a back garden. The room was not clean. Had cobwebs and glass was needing cleaned. The blinds did not work properly. And you could see through the 1 way glass into the room.

Die Aussicht aufs Meer. Parkplatz. Trotz geringem Platz gab es alle Utensilien für die Zubereitung des Frühstücks.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Man bekommt alles von den beiden Nachbarzimmern mit. Keine Privatsphäre auf der Terrasse. Der Teppich ist in die Jahre gekommen. Ich hab eine Hausstauballergie und das war schwierig. In der fußläufigen Nähe gab es keine Restaurants oder Geschäfte. Man muss das Auto nutzen.

Beautiful location, surrounded by history and the locals are great. Got to sit with the seals down by the sea with a coffee in the am absolute bliss. Communication was great the room was done to a high standard with a lovely atmosphere and really clean we will be back. Thank you!!!

Great access to a good walk/ cycle along coast

Every thing. It is advertised as a courtyard room , it's not it's a carpark room . 3 cars are parked out side the only window so the curtains can't be opened as strangers walk by .the fist night, I couldn't use my car as I needed the door fully open to enter/exit. I am disabled. We fell out like the owner when I refused to move closer to our window and called the place crap. We had only stayed 1 night out of 3 booked and piad for. Owners OFFERED A refund but have not refunded anything. Chead and nasy furniture, lumpy beds , warn carpet a kitchen could not be used as no ventilation is present, it's in the same room as the beds. Seating is a wooden box with only a view of the sky . Dangerous steps lead to a coastal path we could not use it .

Can’t say anything negative

Our room was fine (large one with no view) although I think the word luxury is a bit of a stretch. Our friends room was pretty small especially the bathroom but she had a view! The owners were helpful (Craig carried our friends suitcase down the stairs and lent us a long lead.) Our bathroom was good.

Our friends room was down some slightly dodgy outside stairs although ours was easily accessible. The kitchen in our case was tiny and in our friend's case consisted of a desk. There was plenty of kitchen equipment but nowhere to put it so it was pretty useless. We did manage to make ourselves breakfast but neither room was suitable for self-catering.

The view, the cleaners were lovely, the car parking, the location. The toaster

The bed was uncomfortable, poor quality mattress and bedding and pillows. Poor quality towels. Shower entrance not very wide. Kettle needed descaling and cleaning. No opening windows. Vertical blinds one slat missing and would not close fully on one window, which the cleaner sorted but then we could nt fully open them. Steps were quite steep leading to rooms.

as soon as we arrived the property owner felt the need to tell us he had 5 children so to not be loud and we feel as though this was because we were young however we are adults and would like to be treated as such. he then introduced us to the place and the full place smelled like dirty unwashed feet and dampness, the wall panelling was badly painted so made it look less put together, there were holes in the walls and so we decided we wouldn’t be staying there so contacted him. He did not seem pleased which is understandable however we were polite and respectful about the situation and the most he had to say was on you guys go i’ll start the refund process”

Second time staying here and we loved it, we met some furry friends as well, two little black and white cats often sat outside our door and enjoyed the pets. There's simply nothing bad to be said. We love staying here and will definitely be back again.

First impressions were good . . . Superb views across the sea. Erm . . . . . . great view out to sea. And . . . . . . erm . . . lovely view out to sea. That`s it !

Die Lage ist einfach großartig! Sehr ruhig gelegen, ein wunderbarer Blick aufs Wasser und über ein paar Treppenstufen gelangt man direkt runter zum Strand. Wer früh aufsteht, wird mit einem Sonnenaufgang direkt über dem Meer belohnt!

We were staying in a converted garage Definitely NO LUXURY SEA VIEW.

Quaint, nicely decorated apartment in a fairly convenient location 25 minutes walk from town centre

A personal issue, not a direct criticism of the property because of building regulation/limitation, was that the toilet system will not accept any toiletry product. As such, waste bins are provided and clear instruction is given. As i said, this is something I am personally not a keen on - but this is a ‘me’ problem.

The scenery and the area was stunning, great view from our front door. Very spacious room. Beach was beautiful. Shops and restaurants very nearby.

Albeit it was a warm day the room was warmer than outside and I struggled to sleep and relax due to it. During the winter however I reckon the room would be cosy. Also my girlfriend struggled with the spiders and insects.

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und empathisch. Man merkt sofort, dass sie sich große Mühe geben, alle Wünsche ihrer Gäste zu erfüllen und den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Für uns bedeutet Luxus nicht ein perfekt funktionierender Fernseher oder irgendwelche Kleinigkeiten – Luxus ist dieses besondere Privileg, an so einem Ort wohnen zu dürfen: die traumhafte Aussicht, die wunderschöne Kulisse und diese Ruhe, die man dort erleben kann. Genau das macht diese Unterkunft so besonders. Wir konnten dort richtig abschalten, zur Ruhe kommen und das Leben entschleunigt genießen. Wer eine Unterkunft mit so einem Ausblick bucht, sollte den Moment bewusst aufsaugen und die Zeit genießen, bevor man wieder in den Alltag zurückkehrt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden nächstes Jahr definitiv wiederkommen.

Es gab für uns wirklich nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat. Und genau deshalb sollte alles genauso bleiben, wie es ist. Wer absoluten Hochglanz-Luxus erwartet, mit goldenem Besteck und sterilem Perfektionismus, der muss wahrscheinlich das Dreifache bezahlen. Aber genau das ist hier nicht der Sinn dieser Unterkunft. Der wahre Luxus hier ist die Natur, die Ruhe, die Aussicht und die Möglichkeit, komplett abzuschalten und sich zu erholen. Das ist heutzutage unbezahlbar. Wer sich über Kleinigkeiten wie etwas Staub, Tiere in der Natur oder Möbel beschwert, hat vielleicht vergessen, worauf es im Leben wirklich ankommt. Das wichtigste Gut ist Erholung, Frieden und das Gefühl, endlich mal durchatmen zu können — und genau das findet man hier. Bitte lasst euch nicht von negativer Stimmung oder unfairen Bewertungen beeinflussen. Diese Unterkunft hat etwas ganz Besonderes und wir sind dankbar, diese Erfahrung gemacht zu haben.

An absolute hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel welcome and completely at ease. The room was immaculate, beautifully finished, and thoughtfully equipped with every comfort. The panoramic sea views were breathtaking, and having direct access to the beach just steps from our door made the stay even more special. One of the most exceptional places we’ve stayed, and we’re already looking forward to returning. A truly special and memorable retreat.

The WiFi didn’t work but it didn’t cause us and issue as we just enjoyed the relaxation and views

This is not a ‘luxury’ property. Furnishings and linens are basic. The pictures (of tables and sofas) lead you to think that this is self catering accommodation but the double rooms are simply an ensuite bedroom. There is a microwave and dishes for two but no place to prepare food or for two people to sit to eat. Note that dishes have to be washed in the tiny bathroom sink. There is a notice to say that only apps are available on the tv (no mainstream) but even this wasn’t possible due to no internet signal. The rooms with a sea view are accessed via stairs down the outside of the house so not user friendly if your mobility isn’t great. There is one room on the level but it has no sea view and cars are parking right in front of your patio doors (within 3 feet). As a regular visitor to Kirkcaldy, I’d suggest you will get far better facilities at a lower price in one of the hotels

Der Ausblick auf das Meer war ohne Frage das Highlight der Unterkunft und wirklich sehr schön und die Qualität der Matratze war angenehm. Leider konnte der restliche Aufenthalt diesem positiven Eindruck nicht gerecht werden.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und wirkte insgesamt wenig einladend. Der Teppich war alt und muffig, die Ausstattung eher lieblos zusammengestellt. Zudem machte der Kleiderschrank keinen stabilen Eindruck und fiel beinahe auseinander. Besonders enttäuschend war die Sauberkeit: Im Badezimmer befand sich Schimmel in der Dusche, außerdem waren Tausendfüßler im Bad (in der Dusche) und sogar im Bett zu finden. Auf dem Nachttisch lagen zudem noch Essensreste beziehungsweise Rückstände vom vorherigen Aufenthalt. Auch der Eingangsbereich der Glastür wirkte ungepflegt und unsauber. Der Weg zum Zimmer führte durch einen Gartenbereich, der ebenfalls nicht gepflegt erschien. Insgesamt entsprach die Unterkunft leider nicht den Erwartungen, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Sauberkeit und Zustand der Einrichtung.

Owners were absolutely lovely. Very welcoming! We booked 4 nights, our room was upgraded for free which was an absolute delight (family room with sea view) such a wonderful surprise! Great communication throughout. You are not prepared for the sea view, it is breathtaking when walking down to the beachfront rooms and the balconies provided give you endless time to enjoy it, the Private access to the beach itself was fantastic. Location is great. The Room itself was very modern and clean. Great facilities throughout from furnishings to cooking essentials.

The only issue we faced during our stay, was the bed within this room. (Family room with sea view) Bed frame was more than perfect however the mattress was uncomfortable, extremely thin/springy. mattress topper was also in place which of course we can appreciate though this mattress really requires replacing.

The location and how close to the beach was the only good part but you can't see the beach.

I booked what I thought was on the pictures, you can see a beach etc however what I got was a converted garage under someone house. This was a birthday treat but I honestly would've been more comfortable in my camper. The bed was broken at one end meaning only one could sleep on it and the sofa bed wasn't fit for purpose the room was cold ,the tv didn't work the shower didn't work (cold) and the noise from above was terrible. I ended up leaving the room in the middle of the night and walking for miles on the beach until i could check out.

I did not realize the location was in a neighborhood and that it wasn't a "hotel" or "inn". It was still very nice. And to reach the room, you need to descend down stairs outside. Would be difficult if you are physically impaired.

Beautiful setting with the Fife Coastal path 2 mins away and lovely views over the water. Bed was comfortable and the mini fridge, microwave and plates etc are an added bonus. Great that the front of the room is all glass as you still get a lovely view even if rain/cold stops you sitting on the wee shared balcony. We only stayed one night but felt the benefits of the lovely setting. Owners were friendly in their communication.

If I have to say something is that there was no internet (it wasn’t working) but we really didn’t care at all and we didn’t even ask to fix it

This place really does have the wow factor ! As soon as you go down the steps and see that view . We checked in at 3 and never even left the room until checkout ! Just chilled with wine and sea views and sounds 🥰 Would defo return in the future, host was so welcoming too .

WiFi didn’t seem to work, which obv affected the smart tv. Not an issue for us, could be if u had children mind you. Some food left in the fridge when we arrived, was tucked away at the back tho so easy to miss . Again none of these would put us off returning in the future.
