The place is so beautiful and peaceful, we got everything we needed for self catering. The view of the mountains from the bedroom, the picnic next to the dam is was really great

Not having electricity was hard, 1st night we slept in the dark as the back up battery went off 😔

The private pool was a winner! Unit was furnished with everything one could ask for, the beds were really comfy with good quality linen. Beautiful surroundings....I will definitely return for another longer stay! Thank you Carmari the stay made for a really special trip.

Spacious and beautifully set up with 2 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, reliable backup power systems, a large deck, and plenty of cosy spots to lounge, relax, and enjoy the Breathtaking Views of Da Gama Dam and the surrounding mountains. 🌄✨ It’s located in a safe, tranquil estate, with enjoyable walking/hiking trails giving you that perfect peaceful escape. Truly a home away from home. 🏡💛 And the host… wow! 🙌🏾 Their communication, warmth, and ability to make everything feel smooth and stress-free is honestly top tier. One of the best hosting experiences we’ve ever had. Would 100% return! 🌟

There's really close to nothing we can complain about. Property is well maintained, backup power systems, braai area is great with privacy awnings, it's just a really well equipped and taken care off home.

A peaceful and relaxing cottage which catered for all our needs. Set in a beautiful landscape with plenty of wildlife to watch from the decking. Carmari was an excellent host: answering queries, suggesting places to visit and offering advice. One week felt too short!

Warm & comfortable. Like home with a stunning sunrise /view / Sunsets. Loved quiet time on the deck. Fireplace was a treat after dinner.

It needed maintenance. The pool was full of leaves, clearly neglected Also frustrating to not have Internet working

It was remote and out of site, spacious and the bathrooms (bath and shower) were great.

It was far from most shops. The monkeys on the roof at night was not pleasant.

Perfect get away for a family, the house has everything one needs we wished we booked for a couple days longer. Host was really greàt, defnitely a place ill visit again.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Bee-Eater Cottage. Communication with the owner, Carmari, was excellent from start to finish. The cottage itself is beautifully equipped with everything you need, making it a perfect base for exploring the Panorama Route. We especially loved the tranquil setting within the stunning eco estate—so peaceful and calming. The swimming pool was a highlight, offering a refreshing escape after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

It was such a beautiful place with a gorgeous view, with all kinds of wildlife. We saw mongoose, bush buck, duiker, and the monkeys visited each morning.. We will definitely book again!

Location is remote, peace of mind for someone who wants to lay back and recharge, property is within reasonable distance to other amenities in and around White River and Hazyview, Host was exceptional, always available to address issues

This beautiful home is very comfortable and spacious it is definitely the Eye of the Kruger, the animals are so close to drink water you can't believe what you see

The whole house was perfect and I loved the kitchen as I enjoy cooking it was equipped with kitchen equipment, so I can u create my meals

The tranquility and beauty was food for a worn-out soul. I spent 2 nights there and wished I could have stayed longer. Forgot some items when I left and the cleaning staff retrieved everything for us. The owners are super helpful and friendly and made this trip easy for me. So incredibly thankful for that. Will be going back again and hopefully soon.

The pool net was on and I was not strong enough to get it off by myself, so could not take a dip when I got there. I eventually had it removed by one of the grounds keepers the next day.

Very comfortable, peaceful place. Myself and my boyfriend, we have enjoyed every moment. The cottage is beautiful for the firmly , friends or 2 couples traveling together. We really appreciate the kindness of the owners. They we really helpful and detailed about everything. I recommend this cottage when you are looking for a peaceful moment. We will surely be back 😘

Great stay, love the bath and shower. The fireplace made it very cozy.

The place is definitely welcoming, gave us a chance to connect with mother nature and really took out a lot of negative energy. I would without any doubt recommend Bee-Eater to anyone who wants to recharge, it is peaceful environment indeed.
