Reviewed Jun 14, 2026De locatie is prachtig en de geweldige tuin rondom de lodge is heerlijk om in te verblijven. De kamers zijn schoon, de bedden zijn heerlijk groot en comfortabel. Het zwembad is groot en het personeel is vriendelijk.
Er is sprake van wat achterstallig onderhoud, waardoor het verblijf niet helemaal aan onze hoge verwachtingen voldeed.

Cockroaches and the treatment from the manager Nico, we couldn't even take pictures because we were treated bad because of the colour of our skin. I even asked the manager that the mistake my partner made for forgetting a tin at the parking was is it necessary to tell us that we disrespectful there was no other way of sending a polite sms to us because they have send us an sms when we were out, it was an offensive one and written racism in it. They spoiled our weekend.

Плохой напор горячей воды. Завтрак нам попробовать не удалось, так как менеджер сказал что он до 9. Мы пришли в 8.50 , а его уже убрали. Выпросили по маффину и ушли. Печальное гостеприимство, с учётом того, что мы проживанили там одни. Вечером сказали что выезд до 11, а по факту попросили выехать в 10.30. Потом сделали одолжение и разрешили остаться до 11, так как ошиблись сказав что он до 11.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026We really enjoyed the accommodation. We were kindly welcomed right at our car for check-in and received plenty of helpful information and guidance. The room is beautiful, spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, (the bathroom is amazing!) The property is located on a farm, with lovely orchards and a beautiful garden, which we really enjoyed. It’s about 15 minutes from MQP airport; since we planned to leave very early, the host kindly packed our breakfast so we could enjoy it in our room before departing.

What makes this place truly unique is its location right in the heart of a beautiful macadamia farm—it’s peaceful, refreshing, and incredibly scenic. The staff were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for warm hospitality and a serene nature getaway, I cannot recommend this place enough!
I couldn’t have asked for a better stay—there wasn’t a single disappointment.

Reviewed Oct 18, 2025Stayed in the king room for 1 night on our way out from Kruger. Property is a very interesting and beautiful working farm. Manager was helpful and friendly. Room was large, comfy and clean with A/C and wifi. Breakfast was great including a very good cooked breakfast, buffet and coffee machine. Be careful with listing on booking as it seems to suggest room does not come with a bathroom but don't worry it does.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025The location was lovely perfect location to unwind. Staff where extremely courteous, polite and friendly - made us feel extremely welcome. Enjoyed the nice touch of cracking my own macadamia nuts.
There was nothing not to like. If we did not like anything we would have simply left and found somewhere else. If anything some people left and just had to come back !. It was just what we were looking for a location to rest and unwind.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2025Property is located on a working Macadamia nut orchard, so by definition it's off the beaten path. But that also means it's very peaceful. Staff (Julie) was incredibly attentive. Our suite was very clean and full of thoughtful touches. Security is extensive.
Only minor maintenance issues: a couple of light/plug switches were non-functional and the vanity light in the bathroom was rather dim. Neither affected our stay.

Not that I did not like it but the closest shops and restaurants are quite a drive. You will need a car ro go and have lunch and/or dinner because there is no restaurant at the property.
