Essen war meistens nicht gut gesalzen & allgemein nicht lecker (hatte aber viel Auswahl), Innenausstattung sehr alt & Sauberkeit für meine Verhältnisse zu wenig (Haar im Bad, Dusche nass & Fleck auf der Decke)

Les diners pas assez travaillés et variés, mais c'était bon, surtout les desserts. L'espace sauna hammam à revoir, car pas de douche. On avait réservé mais quelqu'un a oublié de les mettre en marche. Gros problème pour avoir de l'eau du robinet à table, on est presque contraint de prendre au moins de l'eau minérale à 4.5€ les 75 cl, il n'y a pas de fontaine à eau réfrigérée dans le restaurant. alors que l'eau du robinet est parfaitement sûre. C'était vraiment pour nous faire dépenser davantage avec beaucoup de pression des serveurs.

Es un hotel impersonal. Los empleados no aportan mucho. Tanto el desayuno como la cena son bastante malos, el café pésimo. Pagamos casi 500 € noche, por una habitación doble con vistas al jardín y desde luego, no lo vale.

de locatie is uitstekend! Het hotel is iets ouder, maar zeer schoon en mooi opgeknapt met een bijzondere flair. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Openbare strand om de hoek, leuk zwembad. Alles is met aandacht georganiseerd en opgemaakt.

Unfortunately, the quality of the evening buffet was not up to the standard of the hotel. The food was often lukewarm or cold, the selection was limited, and the overall quality was really disappointing for a hotel of this category. On the other hand, the breakfast was satisfactory and offered a decent variety of options. The à la carte restaurant provided a much better dining experience; however, during our six-night stay, we were only able to dine there once.

La ubicación es maravillosa, hemos podido disfrutar de varios días de sol, playa y piscina cuando en el resto de la isla llovía. Nuestra habitación familiar(2 adultos y dos niños de 10 y 12 años) muy cómoda y acogedora. La mayoría de personal muy amable.

Nuestra habitación estaba delante del altavoz del hilo músical del pasillo, tuvimos que llamar varias veces para que lo apagaran ya que a las 11,30 de la noche seguía sonando. Por otro lado teníamos media pensión, pensamos que el bufet y el otro restaurante a la carta podría mejorar bastante en cuanto a calidad y variedad, igual con el desayuno.

U třílůžkového pokoje bylo třetí lůžko pro dospělou osobu rozkládací s nosností tak do 50-60 kg. Poslední noc už musel syn spát na matraci na zemi, jelikož nýty držící lamely roštu byly asi unavené a tudíž nedržely rošt na svém místě. Očekával bych za tu cenu pokoje plnohodnotnou postel.

Hotel leží v top lokalitě, přímo vedle krásné pláže. Jsou zde nádherné západy slunce. Bez auta se ale neobejdete, pokud chcete ostrov poznat, což za to rozhodně stojí. Vybavení je starší, personál moc milý, polopenze méně pestrá.

Výběr v rámci polopenze by mohl být pestřejší.

Gute Lage in der Mitte der Insel, direkt an einem schönen Sandstrand

Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war nicht direkt aufs Meer wie die richtigen Meerblickzimmer auf der anderen Seite des Hotels (wir haben nur ein bisschen Meer weiter entfernt gesehen.) Ich hab das Gefühl, dass man bei bookingcom oft nicht so gute Zimmer bekommt. Ob direkt buchen besser wär?

Lage wR schön, direkt am Meer, in grüner Umgebung. Aber das war auch das einzig gute! Alter Bau, fleckige Teppiche, zu wenig Parkplätze, zu wenig Tische im Speisesaal - wir mussten über 20 Min. auf einen Tisch warten, Buffet war schlecht - wenig Auswahl, Speisen kalt bis lauwarm, Dessert wirklich schlecht.

Siehe oben. Morgen- und Abendbuffet wirklich schlecht. Ausnahme Salatbuffet und Früchte. Ausser Duschmittel und einer kleinen Packung Body Lotion war nichts auf dem Zimmer. Auf Nachfrage nach Conditioner wurden wir an den nächsten Einkaufsladen verwiesen! Dies bei einem Preis von über CHF 450 pro Nacht!

The room was spacious and the facilities were clean and good. The breakfast was well served and varied.

The front desk staff was unfortunately very rude. We had dinner included and it was flavourless and with no quality, which was shocking given the hotel rating. Additionally, there were no amenities in the room: no coffee machine, kettle, or any other amenities. Only the cheap body wash in the bathroom.

De eten keuze is inmiddels wel wat ingekrompen vergeleken met vroeger, ook sommige faciliteiten komen natuurlijk in de jaren en hebben weer wat liefde nodig. Neemt niet weg dat het nog steeds een top hotel is.

Hotel położony w pięknej okolicy. Duży teren dostępny dla gości. Pomocna i przemiła obsługa. Pokoje czyste, przestronne codziennie sprzątane. Duża łazienka z wanną i prysznicem idealna dla rodzin z dziećmi.

Śniadania byly dobre choć monotonne. Kawa niestety byla słaba.

Très chouette hotel, l'emplacement etait parfait! Plage juste à coté et accessible à pied etait un plus pour les enfants après les journées d'excursions. Tres chouette piscine. Personnel agréable et souriant. Le buffet du soir etait très bon et varié. Rien à dire! Nous avons apprecié la chambre familiale, tres spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bain fonctionelle et spacieuse pour une famille de 4!

Les lits d'appoints des enfants n'etait pas du tout confortables. Il s agissait pourtant d une chambre familiale pour 4 mais un des deux lits des enfants etait l'equivalent d'un "lit de camp". Nous y sommes resté que 3 nuits donc pas trop dérangeant mais pour un hotel 4 etoiles et au vu du prix des chambres, nous aurions aimé de "vrai lits".

El bufet de comida bastante justo de calidad y variedad, la fruta y el pan Buenos, pero los platos cocinados no muy buenos la verdad. Estaría bien si hicieran alguna zona de juego infantil en el exterior por ejemplo. Para los niños falta un poco de organización.

Velmi prostorné pokoje s krásným výhledem. Hotel má skvělý bazén a písčitou pláž doslova pár kroků od areálu. Oceňuji také dostatek parkovacích míst přímo u hotelu a jeho blízkost k letišti. Příjemným překvapením bylo prodloužení check-outu o jednu hodinu zdarma, což nám v den odjezdu přišlo vhod.

Největším zklamáním byla polopenze. Už při vstupu do restaurace se často čekalo, než vás personál pustí ke stolu a zapíše číslo pokoje. Obsluha během snídaní i večeří byla velmi pomalá. Kvalita jídla neodpovídala očekávání ani recenzím, které jsme si před pobytem četli. Snídaně byly každý den téměř stejné a výběr byl velmi omezený. Slanina byla za celý pobyt pouze jednou, z teplých jídel byly zpravidla jen párky a na omelety či míchaná vejce se tvořily dlouhé fronty. K cereáliím byly k dispozici pouze rozinky, bez dalších doplňků, jako jsou ořechy nebo semínka. Večeře také nebyly příliš pestré – většinou byl k dispozici jen jeden druh masa, například jehněčí, maso s kližkami nebo mleté maso. Z příloh chyběla větší rozmanitost a hranolky se objevily pouze jednou. Každý den byla v nabídce zapečená ryba, která však často výrazně zapáchala rybinou.

We had a pleasant stay at Pestana Bahia Resort. The location is excellent—just a 1-minute walk to the beach, making it very convenient. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the outdoor swimming pool is a great place to relax. Our room was spacious and having a private balcony was a big plus. We booked the breakfast and dinner package. The food quality was good, although the selection was somewhat limited. Free parking was another nice bonus and made our stay even more convenient. Overall, it's a comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, especially if you want easy beach access.

The junior suite was very spacious for our group of 3 and it was most convenient to have breakfast and dinner included in the price. Despite a lot of negative reviews about the lack of variety at dinner, I found it more than sufficient. The location is stunning and the hotel is easily accessible if you have a car.

The bed wasn't so comfortable and the price of bottled water at dinner was very expensive. The hotel facilities are average. Although there's a gym it's very basic. The spa doesn't have much to offer, but the island abounds in thermal pools and waterfalls which make up for the lack of facilities in the hotel.

Th room was spacious and overall, clean - but both furniture and carpets had stains and looked unappealing.

The territory of the hotel is really beautiful. The lawns seem to be endless.

This hotel is incredibly overpriced for the level and quality of service that one receives. The food in the restaurant reminded me of the student canteen. Very low quality. The pool area is not inviting at all. The staff needs proper training in hospitality. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Ne pas s'arrêter à l'aspect extérieur (batiment) il ne reflète pas l'intérieur qui est lui vraiment beau, lumineux, spacieux, bien décoré et fleuri, du très grand hall d'accueil jusqu'au bar et les salles de restauration. Très belle suite Junior, grande, lumineuse, très bonne literie et mobilier, grande salle de bains avec douche et baignoire, peignoir et chaussons, dressing, terrasse, vraiment très bien ! Le petit déjeuner et diner : très beaux buffets, variés et bons. Personnel de service agréable dans l'ensemble. Très beaux jardins, avec accès rapide à une grande plage. L'emplacement est pratique pour visiter l'ile dans toutes les directions.

L'espace Spa mériterait une rénovation et agrandissement pour être à la hauteur du reste de l'hôtel. Très peu de personnel parle français ! ce n'est pas pratique lorsque nous-même ne parlons pas portugais et très peu anglais! nous avons néanmoins trouvé des personnes à la réception très compréhensives et parlant un peu français, donc super quand nous avons eu besoin !! Pour un 4 étoiles nous avons été étonnées que les petits plus dans la salle de bains (kit brosse à dent et autres petits soins) soient sur demande !!! N'ayant reçus nos bagages que 2 jours après notre arrivée, ils nous ont été très utiles !!

The staff was very nice and super helpful. We were stranded on the island for three days, because of the weather conditions our flight got cancelled multiple times. The hotel made our unplanned extended stay comfortable.

It was an old building with stained rugs and carpeted floors. The cleanliness wasn't the best. But we were grateful to have a hotel and not having to stay at the airport for three days.

The location is spectacular, we enjoyed sea views and having the beach downstairs is a luxury. Also, the staff super nice and the detail for the birthday celebration was the cherry on the cake. Also, lots of veggie options in the buffet. Top stay.

If we could say something the building is a bit outdated and a bit more maintenance would help. Also, the work on the garden could have started a bit later in the morning… ;)

I highly recommend this hotel. The location is amazing, the ocean is right beside it, with clean and peaceful beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Breakfast and dinner are always tasty and the choices will suit every taste. If you look for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay this is the perfect choice!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Besonders hervorzuheben ist wirklich das tolle Personal, das immerzu freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr herzlich ist. Die Zimmergröße war sehr komfortabel und die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer, sodass man zum Schlafengehen das Wellenrauschen hören kann. Allerdings ist sonst nichts um das Hotel herum, das sollte man bei der Buchung wissen. Frühstück und Abendessen waren gut. Ich habe zwei Mal eine Massage gebucht und habe es sehr genossen! Insgesamt auf jeden Fall eine absolute Weiterempfehlung, wenn man eine entspannte Zeit direkt am Meer haben möchte.

Ich habe nur kleine Kritikpunkte, die jedoch das Gesamterlebnis nur marginal beeinflussen. Die Ausstattung könnte mal wieder renoviert werden, meine Matratze war leider etwas durchgelegen. Das Restaurant für Frühstück und Abendessen ist zu klein, wenn das Hotel gut besucht ist, sodass man teilweise auf einen Platz warten musste. Fanden wir aber nicht weiter schlimm :)

Apesar da excelente localização do hotel e da boa dimensão do quarto, a experiência global ficou bastante aquém das expectativas para uma unidade deste nível e faixa de preço. O espaço em si é agradável e bem situado, mas foi dececionante verificar que os quartos não dispunham de ar-condicionado, de acordo com o staff "por razões de sustentabilidade" algo que considero que deveria ser opção do cliente ligar ou não.

O serviço, em particular na área da restauração, revelou-se bastante desorganizado. Era frequente existirem filas demoradas, falta de pratos no buffet e até talheres inadequados para as refeições servidas. Além disso, os colaboradores aparentavam pouca preparação e conhecimento das suas funções, transmitindo uma sensação constante de falta de coordenação. A qualidade da comida também deixou muito a desejar, sem sabor e claramente abaixo do esperado para um hotel desta categoria. Infelizmente, a simpatia e atenção ao cliente por parte da equipa também não foram pontos fortes da estadia. Outro aspeto muito negativo foi toda a questão relacionada com a faturação. Solicitei várias vezes a emissão da fatura com contribuinte, mas fui constantemente informado de que teria de tratar disso diretamente com a Booking, apesar de a própria Booking já me ter confirmado que a responsabilidade era do hotel. Após muita insistência, acabaram finalmente por emitir a fatura, mas novamente sem o número de contribuinte solicitado. Quando pedi a correção, informaram-me de que o contribuinte “não existia”, apesar de pertencer a uma empresa com mais de 10 anos de atividade. Uma situação incompreensível e pouco profissional, que acabou por deixar uma última impressão bastante negativa da estadia.

Останавливаюсь в этом отеле уже в третий раз. Базовые преимущества остаются неизменными: мне по-прежнему нравится расположение, территория и общий уровень сервиса. Отель держит марку в плане комфорта проживания.

Основное замечание касается питания (завтраки и ужины). Я с пониманием отношусь к повышению стоимости номера из-за обязательного включения ужина в тариф, так как осознаю необходимость отеля покрывать растущие расходы и выплачивать зарплату персоналу. Тем не менее, качество блюд на данный момент не соответствует возросшей цене.

We had to pay for a kettle to use in the room. Some part of the hotel are a bit outdated, the spa (sauna) didn’t work and there is no heated pool.

A nossa estadia no Pestana Bahia Praia foi simplesmente excelente. Desde o primeiro momento, sentimo-nos verdadeiramente bem recebidos graças à simpatia, profissionalismo e hospitalidade de todo o staff da receção e do restaurante, que fizeram com que nos sentíssemos em casa durante toda a estadia. O hotel tem uma localização privilegiada, mesmo em frente à praia, inserido numa encosta extremamente tranquila, perfeita para descansar e desligar da rotina. A envolvência natural, o sossego e a vista magnífica tornam este espaço ainda mais especial. Sem dúvida, é uma excelente opção para quem procura relaxar alguns dias em São Miguel, com conforto, tranquilidade e um atendimento irrepreensível. Recomendo vivamente! Tipo de viagemFérias

Отель расположен в прекрасном месте, рядом пляж. Территория ухоженная. Сам отель не новый, но уютный, все в духе своего времени. Номер понравился, очень уютно, чисто и светло. Семейный номер просторный, отделена гардеробная. Отличная просторная ванная комната, с большой ванной и душем. Отделана мрамором и деревянными панелями, есть халаты. Персонал приветливый, услужливый. Понравился ресторан а ля карт. Есть детская комната с настольным теннисом и футболом.

Напитки на ужине достаточно дорогие, нет бесплатной воды. На ужин и завтрак выбор не очень большой. Плохо работает вытяжка в ресторане, запах еды чувствуется на нулевом этаже.

Location was amazing. Some wrote that it is dated/old, but the decor is less old than rather classic. It reminded me of some classic amazing hotels and vacation spots. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise or the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac likewise have old style, but it is a classic old style rather than a dated style. This place has that same quality. It has an old elegance to the place, but the place did not feel old. The food was fresh and there were a variety of great options at the buffet. The ocean was amazing. There were great tennis courts and they have a nice game room. The sauna was okay, but not very hot.

It is fairly expensive. We were initially double charged for our son on the reservation. Booking charged us extra for a 3rd person (teenager) and then the facility wanted to charge us an extra 85 euros for our son. It was clear we already paid for it by the reservation, but there is some glitch in Booking.com database. 24 hours before arrival I was told I had to pay this extra fee or 85 euros a day for our son. Luckily I was allowed to cancel the reservation and then rebooked it as two adults and then paid for our son when we arrived. That error seems like an error in the way the reservation is made through booking.com. This caused a lot of tension until I was able to cancel reservation and rebook, otherwise I was being charged extra through booking.com and then again at the facility. The sauna could have been warmer. The fee for my son was an extra 85 euros a day which includes breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately my son is a picky eater and he didn't eat enough to justify that extra expense for the food. However the food was excellent and fresh. If you want a no hassle beautiful location, this place is wonderful as long as you don't have a picky eater in your group. Also be careful when adding children to reservation given the glitch we had.
